I saw G.I.Joe yesterday, I thought it was pretty good, but I never saw the show, so I don't know if it was like it or not.

A few things have been pointed out that when you think back you go "Oh yeah... lol that's stupid, but yeah, still liked it." Also, looking forward to District 9

I'm in the opposite boat. I'm old enough to remember the original G.I. Joe cartoon, but I haven't (and likely won't ever) see the movie. It looks about as interesting as Mortal Kombat did in the nineties.

It looks about as interesting as Mortal Kombat did in the nineties. It was awesome because it had a lot of blood and no other game had that much blood?

I think that was a bad analogy, I believe MK was at the height of it's popularity in the nineties, and if it's that interesting according to you, then the G.I. Joe movie should be at the top of your list. Unless you forgot to mention how you never liked MK, then I could see what you're saying.
