Timothy stepped back from Raven when Ember spoke to him. The Fire Herald was his sister of sorts in this organization, but her addiction rode the line of toleration and rule-breaking. "I thought we agreed your little addiction would bring you to anymore fits Ember." the looked over his shoulder and replied. "I'm sure that in many other states, your sustinence awaits. Checking here won't help. As you would say, this place is dry now." The electric man was far from angry, but his annoyance with the burning woman was growing with each complaint.
His attention was reliquished once again to Raven, the lady of the hour. Threats were only things people with power used to acertain and control lesser people. While Tim did respect the revolutionary, he needed a way to assure that she'd help him. Now that the threats were through, he could go on with his promises. "What you get out of it, Oracle, is protection and a fighting force that I'm more than sure you'll find useful. You get us. The forces of nature. We get you and your Owls. Powerful assembly, wouldn't you say?"
Soliel had made his way back to the battlefield. Before he could gobble up Anderson in a flood of magma, the teen was teleported off to god knows where. His expression when he saw the heralds with his leader, he grew apprehensive and his fists began to glow with extreme heat. He couldn't sense energies like the majority of other Owls could, but he knew from experience that these guys were a force to be reckoned with. "Hey you!" Soliel's wrist began to flow with magma now. It didn't drip off to the ground, but instead circulated back up to his elbow. "What the hell are you doing to her!? Raven, are you alright?"
"I can sense that he wants to fight....you might want to stop him Raven. I'm working with you all, but I will not hesitate to kill anyone who attacks me or my family..." Timothy looked over at Soliel with stare so blank, the Magma Owl almost thought he was soulless...like a machine or a shell. "I don't want to hurt you Magma Owl. But I will if I have to."

"It's alright Joe. Just watch where yer aiming next time. Please." Thomas stood from the floor and brushed the dust from his longcoat and bottom. There was a flame at the bottom of his coat. He spat on it and the flame sizzled out instantly. "This ******** house is a mess Che...vines, moss, rats...even cats have made this place their home now." Thomas jeered in reference to the many cat people he could spot. There were about four and thanks to them, the house was about four times as strange. With nowhere to sit now, he leaned against the kitchen's opening. This way, with a simple turn of his head, he could see both into the kitchen where Radiant, Phantom, Che and Kate were and down into the hall. Most of the living room remained in his peripheral. "What's with the cat ears anyway? You do something to these poor folks Gen?"

Demios sighed and rolled his eyes at Daryle's response to being able to make a bigger entrance, there wasn't a doubt in his mind that this was possible. He then turned to Will and listened to him. As he herd Will the aggravation became apparent as Demios's hands glowed and sparked dangerously. "Listen here you demonic irritant first off had it not hit me who knows what might've happened, secondly I have no idea how Genya got here, and finally lets see how you like it!" He said as he waved his arms and a pair of cat ears formed on Will along with a long cat tail. "It'll go away when you can learn to play nice" He said. He then turned to Genya, Bailey, and Daryle "What you have can now be lost" He chanted. Suddenly Demios's cat ears turned into a strangely realistic headband, he was sure they could put them on again if they wanted, but he wasn't sure if they even wanted to get rid of them to be honest he liked them.

Lorna brushed herself off. She wasn't very ecstatic about the fact that a third party had ruined her fight with Anya. She'd had that girl within her grasp. In a way, she had won the fight on account of forced forfeit, but it wasn't good enough for her. Now her opponent and everyone else besides the TFP were gone. She might as well make her way back towards her team. Brushing herself off, she began to search for them. It did not take her long to reach Raven. However, she was in the presence of half of the Heralds. She could feel her anger boiling. What did they want with Raven? She glared at them with hatred in her eyes. It was clear they wanted Raven for something important for if she wasn't of use to them, they would've already killed her by now. She glanced at Soliel and saw that he too was concerned, as well as angry. She then heard Timothy's words and shook her head before speaking to Soliel. "Think about it, if they wanted Raven or any of us dead, they would've killed us by now." She turned to Timothy who was clearly the leader of The Heralds. "Is that right?" she asked.

"That's right." Timothy replied in agreeance to Lorna. It wasn't in his intentions to kill them, but he would if needed. Soliel apparently hadn't gotten the memo. A grin formed on the herald's face when Soliel's arms burst with magma. Like he stated, bringing harm to him wasn't in his plans, but this little owl might be fun. He seemed hotheaded enough to be.
Soliel looked over to Lorna after she reasoned with him. His ability ceased manifestation leaving only a cloud of dark smoke around him. "Hmph. The way you speak Lorna makes it sounds as if we didn't have a chance against them." Sol retorted scornfully. "I won't fight them, but if they do anything out of line, I will be forced to. I only hope you'll do the same." The hardened and abrasive teen walked forward passing by Timothy without giving him a look. From the corner of his vision though, he could clearly see his smirk. The Herald would not be getting in the way of his plan...

Lorna watched as Soliel walked away. She did not want to be a stalker, but in reality, she had no business being in the presence of the Heralds for now. "I'm glad you're all right for the most part," Lorna said to Raven relieved that her leader was alive even if she was injured. It could have been worse. Her lips curled into a smile towards her leader, before she turned and walked away to catch up to Soliel. Once she did, she began walking alongside of him. "Sorry about what I said," she said apologetically. "I really didn't mean for it to sound like we didn't have a chance against them. They are very powerful, but that doesn't mean that we wouldn't be able to defeat them. Besides, I'll be the first one on their asses if they even try to harm Raven," she said with a smirk before realizing that the protective mask was still over her mouth and nose and the protective armor still covered her chest and torso. She allowed the metals to melt back into their original form consisting of the earrings she wore and her naval ring. "Anyways, I was impressed by some of your moves in your battle," she said. She had watched him for a few moments before she had been caught up in the battle with Anya, and after that, she barely noticed anything else.

'Oh, that's real adult of you, Radiant b***h... ignore someone... go ahead a play you're little quiet game...' Kate thought to herself bitterly. "It matters not what she thinks of me." Kate replied to Phantom, closing her eyes and giving off a rather nonchalant attitude about her little quarrel with Radiant. "The reason the both of you are weak... Her power is simply to grant wishes. As far as I can tell, she can only grant wishes to others and none to herself, so the person you refer to as 'Radiant'..." Kate said referring to Radiant, "...Would be easy to remove like a fly on the wall. And you..." Kate said, returning her attention to Phantom, "Are nothing but a dreamer who wants everything to go his way in the end. A selfish old fart who only does things that suit him best and solve his own problems without helping anyone but himself to the best in life." With that, Kate's expression was calm and without emotion. "I have no liking for any team, I am simply an observer and working to keep the spirits from Eternity in their place."
Kate paused for a moment. "But as Presidiomini just said, how about not arguing and work towards the greater good for once. If either of you are not here to do that, you should most definitely leave..." Kate said, a sarcastic undertone to her voice, in response to Che's suggestion. 'And never come back...' Kate added that last part to herself mentally. She then turned her attention to Che's comment about Thomas eating the bacteria and decaying food left in the refrigerator. "I don't doubt that Mr. Moses would eat that stuff right away, Che..."

Soliel walked passed each Herald, not flinching at them in the slightest. While he could not sense energies, he could feel a pressure flowing from each of them. It felt as though weights of varying measures were upon his shoulders and back...hell, he was even will to bet that around them, he was slightly shorter. Maybe it wasn't them though...maybe he was scared of each of them. Of course, he wouldn't admit it. He'd first have to recognize that he was, to an extent, afraid of them.
Soliel kept himself from jumping when Lorna arrived by his side. He found himself smirking when she revealed to him that his safety was one of her concerns. "I'm not the person you need to worry about." He wisely responded. "That'd be yourself. What you said is fine. Just don't let your actions be as weak as your words were." It was then when he tried not to sound like a drill sargeant or a lecturer, but still, it came out sounding the way it did and his deep, somewhat raspy voice didn't help it. His ego was perked lightly by the impression his moves apparently left on her. Looking over at her, he nodded, then said, "Well, when you're fighting against someone with such a strange power, you have to fight smarter. Not harder. Speaking of strange powers, I watched a bit of your fight while Koji and I were handling Anderson. Did you win? Or was the poison girl teleported before you could?"
~~~
Che watched as the two ladies exchanged their sharped-tongued words. The man dared not enter the fray. Looking at Phantom, he grinned as Kate delivered her combination of words. He hadn't know that she had it in her, but once she brought it out, he found himself lightly clapping. At this moment, if he was going to be good for anything, it would be keeping the humor. The last thing they needed was a catfight. When Che went to speak again, he was overridden by Kate's ongoing flow of words.
He couldn't see Phantom's face, but he was sure even he had a grin at this point. The guardian of the gates had done well to keep quiet. To Che, it was more than interesting to hear her speak her mind. When she finished with her statement about Thomas, the dark man at the door simply looked at her, then back down the hall. Che, on the other hand, held back laughter. "Yeah, yeah. Alright. I think we can all agree on getting to work here. Although I'm not sure how these two teams are going to mix here...is that even what you brought us here for Thomas? Or are you going to try to kill us all again?"
"No." the dark man responded. "Believe or not you bushy haired bum son of a b***h, I, no, we need each other's help here. I brought us all here to discuss a plan. When everyone stops breaking yer s**t Sir Homeless, we'll commence the talking."
Lorna scowled at Soliel's response to her. It was true that she did like him, a lot, but sometimes he could be rather infuriating. However, Lorna's expression changed to that of a calm one. "Give me a break. I'm rather pissed off. If you must know how my fight went, it was going well until my opponent just disappeared." She ran her fingers through her emerald hair. "I was actually fairly close to winning. The girl had some very impressive moves, but because the weapons she used consisted of metal, I had the upper hand, not to mention, her poisons couldn't get through my armor." She gave a sigh of frustration. "I'm still ******** angry about it though. But don't worry. I'd say that the girl and I owe each other a re-match in the future, wouldn't you say?" she asked with a smirk as she winked at him. Lorna realized that she talked a lot, but that was something she would never change about herself. Those who were around her would just have to take her as she came.
Nikolai had simply been left to his own devices once Will had left, so he idly danced around, looked at all the dusty furniture and such, before returning to the bedroom where Will had been stuck in between the floors. He heard talking coming from below so he crawled through the hole head first, dropping down out of it, but holding himself up to the ceiling with his feet, so he really was just hanging from the ceiling. It was an altogether less pleasant feeling than when he was hanging from his shadows, because gravity actually affected him, but he simply hung there and listened to the nearby conversation of Thomas and Che. When they finished speaking, he replied to Thomas, "You brought us to Che's old abandoned house to discuss a plan? I thought the UNS had like, super advanced meeting rooms and such... whatever, I'm always up for discussing a good plan." Nik let go of the ceiling with his feet and fell onto his hands in a handstand. He quickly flipped himself upright and stretched, making his way over towards the kitchen. He caught a whiff of Thomas' Negation odor and coughed once, but didn't say anything, he had learned long ago it wasn't a good thing to insult someone's power. He simply did his best to ignore the smell and concentrate on what was important. "So are we holding this meeting in the kitchen or somewhere a bit less crowded. It's a nice night out, I bet the lawn would be a decent place to have a meeting in the dark... AH!" Nik suddenly remembered two people he had completely forgot about when the plane started going down in New York. He quickly said, "Be right back, you can go ahead and plan, I'll hear it." With that, Nik sunk into his shadow and looked about saying, rather loudly, "Happiness! Sadness! You two still here?! I'm sorry, I completely forgot about you ladies!" Nik looked around in the shadow to try and find them, but his shadow had fairly low visibility, and he couldn't seem to find either of them. He looked around for a minute or so before finding them, probably exactly where they had been the entire time, "Oh good, you're still here. Everything okay? Nothing terrible happen while I was gone I hope?" Nik smiled at the two of them, still bouncing slightly to his music.
Adam laughed a little at Raven's remarks, she was indeed a strong willed one, no wonder she lasted so long under Thomas's torturous tactics. "What's in it for you? You get to live, and survive for another day." He said as he stood by Timothy. Once the other members of the Fallen Phoenix began to arrive Adam did nothing. "Well their animosity is to be expected." When Soliel calmed his fiery powers Adam looked towards him. "Do you think you can stop us? two Owls, Raven who is badly wounded against four fully powered Heralds? That's a funny joke."
"oh? Stop Timothy? And how dare I ask did you come across this bit of information?" He asked as he receivec the mental message. He didn't expect an answer he didn't need one now that they were going to meet up later. ~Fine I'll join you for the meeting, try not to keep me waiting to long, I have a habit of getting bored rather fast. But if it's information you want then I will do the best I can, my information web is widely dispersed but it's not as large as Dante's.~ He returned his focus to the others in the room, he was rather suprised by the docile nature of most of them, almost everyone in the room seemed as if they were just talking or having an argument but nothing on the violent level.
"That's very clever of you Kate, but as I would expect you've gotten your intel wrong. What a shock." She said in an especially sarcastic tone at the last remark. "My power is to grant the wishes of other yes, and I consider it to be a wonderful power, I give to others what they desire most, with no strings. As for my mortality you're about as smart as I thought. If we have known Che and the others for such a long time do you think I would be easy to defeat? You can try whatever you want, a bullet to the head, slit my throat, throw me off a building I'll continue to live, such as my power dictates. Don't underestimate me Necrotic Owl, I would imagine we are on such opposite ends because we live on opposite ends of the scale, I cannot be killed by conventional means and I am eternally young, that must annoy you, to know that yet another owl dances on the boundaries of life and death you hold so dear." She smiled a little as she stared at Kate, "Your attitude is rather ugly, but if Che can stomach to be around you then there must be something to you that I cannot see, be grateful there's someone like him to give you the time of day."
Phantom was stunned by the retorts of his wife, her sharp tounge had never been more pronounced. "Um......Yeah...." he said trying to avoid that topic. He listened to Kate's assumption of him he to wanted at first to respond with a sarcastic remark, and would have to if his Wife had not taken the first few shots. "A dreamer? Yes something like that I suppose, my powers work on the theory that anything I say can happen in my space." He listened to the rest of her summation, however one part struck a cord in both Radiant and himself. "A selfish old fart who only does things that suit him best and solve his own problems without helping anyone but himself to the best in life." He looked at her through his mask she couldn't be farther from the truth, "Is that how we come off? Selfish, uncaring? I can see socially and emotionally you're about as cunning as a baby. You're blinded by your preconcieved notion that your first impression is 100% accurate. You're quick to judge without knowing anything about the person you're talking about. I hope one day you can see the world and the people in it for who they are, I suppose you'll retort with some speech about how you truly do understand the world and the people in it, and that my point of view is stupid or wrong but until you realize your humanity you'll remain in a constant hollow existance, you're simply going through the phases of life without making an impact, like dust in the wind." he said to her, her constant nonemotional voice only prooved his point, as did the way she pretended thaat she was always above the conversation. He would not stand there and let her constantly insult them, especially not Radiant, she had no idea what they had given up or what they had sacrificed, just like they didn't know what she had gone through. "Look I get it you don't know us, we must come across as rather arrogant for randomly showing up, but please show some civility we've done nothing to you and have no intention of doing anything wrong. Radiant, I know you don't always see eye to eye with people but understand she doesn't know about our past we can't expect her to act like she has."
Now that the moment was over Phantom took his eyes away from Kate and looked at Che. "If you want to see my powers that's fine." he didn't do anything out of the ordinary, if one had the same power as he did they could see his field opening, a sphere shaped invisible pulse shot from his body, it made no noise and affected nothing in the real world as it spread throughout the house. "This table will be restored." He said as he touched the old worn out molding table. It began to repair itself, the cracks in the wood suddenly became shallow until they disappeared completely, the mold seemed to evaporate into the air, the color and varnish returned to the once clean surface. In moments it stood as it had long ago. Phantom looked towards Che as he held up his hand. "A copy of "Paradise Lost" Will form in my hand." in an instant it was so, a large leather bounded copy of "Paradise Lost" Appeared in his hand. "See my powers haven't faded yet, glad to know I'm not to old yet." He laughed a little soon after.
"As for how they work that's a completely different topic, they work on the basis that once in my field I have complete control over the entirety that it is, aside from the living organisms that enter of course. My words become reality, if I say that purple rain will fall from a green cloud it will happen, if I say that the ground underneath us will turn into bread it will. Of course the affects will only remain as long as my field is open, or unless they directly impact a specific item, like that table it will be restored even if I cancel my field out."
Kate ignored Radiant for the time being. Right now, she was going to treat the woman just like she had planned to treat Kate herself: like a fly on the wall. She managed to ignore the bothersome way Radiant referred to her. She was however, very much grateful there was someone like Che who would even bother to listen to someone like her. But Kate didn't give Radiant or Phantom the satisfaction of knowing how right they were on that count. Instead, her expression remained as stoic as possible throughout Phantom's little speech to her. But the one thing he said to her: "you're simply going through the phases of life without making an impact, like dust in the wind." stuck her the hardest. It was exactly how Kate felt about herself all the time. No one ever listened to her. And even when they did, they shot her down like she was nothing, nothing at all, not worth their time.
The rest of what Phantom said to her, about begging for some civility from her, fell on deaf ears as Kate was too caught up in his opinion of her. She looked down at her feet. Not in shame or anything, but because she was very deeply hurt by Phantom's words to her. Ignoring the new turn of the conversation, Kate headed for the back door which led to the very overgrown backyard. "When a plan has been decided upon, do tell me..." With that, the Eternity Owl opened the back door and stepped outside, closing the door rather gently behind her.
During the entire battle, Happiness had bugged Sadness constantly. Trying to get her opposite to play a card game or a game of I-Spy at least to stave off the boredom. Unfortunately, Sadness was not so obliging. Her cousin refused to try to take her mind off of what was happening in the world and especially to what was going on back with Sydney.
When Nikolai finally returned to look for them, it was a blessed breaking of the sad monotony Sadness always brought with her. "Nikolai!" Happiness cried out ecstatically as she ran over and gave her newest shadow-user friend a big hug. "You came back!"
Sadness simply watched from where she was seated on the floor of Nikolai's shadow. "Did you forget about us...?" she asked looking about ready to start to cry again.
"See, Cousin! He came back just like he said he would!" Happiness said happily, still hugging Nikolai like her life depended on it. She hadn't seemed to hear Nik's question about how things were going, but Sadness had.
"Things are going badly... Very badly indeed...."
Roulin nodded to Lucien after Thomas had spoke. He'd reveal to him the specs of the Herald's weakness eithe during or after Thomas's little mission statement. Until then, he'd have to wait. Before walking more into the center of the living room, he said to Lucien with a stern and serious gaze,"Try not to get bored Lucien. With what I have to tell you, we can save lives."
"Yes, I brought us to Che's old house. I picked her because this place is protected by a spell set on it by Demios's ancestors. The Heralds can't see this place with that...nature vision of their's. To them, it's just another house with a pickett fence." Thomas replied to Nikolai after Kate stormed out. He cocked a brow at the girl's apparent emotion instability. Her leaving due Radiant's and Phan's words only said to him that the guardian was weak. Too bad. She was in the mix of things now and there was no turning back. "When things get going, I'll let you know honey. Just don't cry too loud now ya hear?"
"Always an interesting power to watch...reminds me of Noel's unranged power." Che spoke softly. He remembered to himself the amount of times he'd tried to kill Phantom long ago to take his power. That was, until they were brought together to stop a rather unrelenting force. "You know, if you do die before me, I'm locking your soul in a card right? Too cool of a power to not have."
After Kate stormed off, Che brought a palm up to his face. Thomas's remark was met with animosity of course, but he had a point. Words like that shouldn't be affecting her like that. "Women. I swear."
"Heh. Hope she gets back in soon." Thomas said, pushing off of the kitchen's opening jamb. "I'm about ready to start this here speech of mine. You might want to come into the living room...the whole lot of you! Get in here!"
After the flames between the two women ceased Radiant sighed. She leaned back in her seat and watched Kate leave. She tapped her foot for a few moments as the others talked. "...Damn my conscence!" She said as she stood up and walked towards the backdoor. She wasn't heartless, simply defensive. After Thomas spoke she got up and walked to the door. Opening it she turned around grabbing a rusted knife out of the holder on the counter. She threw it towards Thomas before walking out, knowing that it wouldn't kill him or hurt him but it made her feel better. "Um...kate?" She said as she looked down instead of at her. "What we said.....That was inappropriate." She said softly, by we she meant Phantom and herself.
"I'm trying to revolutionize the world Roulin everything I do is to save lives, in the long run." He said as he followed Roulin. When he heard Thomas beginning to announce his meeting Lucien sighed. "Duty calls." He said as he looked towards the kitchen door. He watched as the others began to gather into the kitchen. "Do you want to listen to Thomas or get right to the point?" He asked as he turned to look at Roulin.
As Radiant walked out the door Phantom sighed a little. "tell me about it." He said in response to Che's words. He reached up and scratched his head before he cleared his throat. He looked up towards Che when he said he would trap his soul in a card and use it as a weapon. "....Um......Thank you?" he said as he raised an eyebrow from beneath the mask. he knew it was a compliment but it was a strange compliment nonetheless. He laughed a little and said. "Well let's hope I don't bite the big one infront of you, I actually want to move onto the next life, it would be boring to forever be here."
Kojiro looked around him, een Soliei was willing to fight,"....I cant be a coward anymore..." he mumbled, he dropped his knife and simply clenched his fists, he would fight with anything he had, until he could no longer move, however he heard Timothy speak,"...Your....family?..." he stuttered under his breath, he simply stood in the background as the confrontation unfolded, Kojiro, felt relieved though, however he was still somewhat disappointed, once again he hesitated in the face of danger, and it took someone else to step in for then, however he heard Adam speak, Kojiro began to step out of the shadows, the symbol faintly flicked in his eye and the knife exploded into shrapnel. He clenched his fist as ice surged up his arm"..Three owls!...and I swear even If I am an ordinary owl I'll break...you....in..." He stopped,"...Three Owls?...." Kojiro stopped talking as he became dead silent, his eyes became wide as he looked around, Hearalds and Phoenix,"...where is Nat?!" he stuttered. the ice quickly shattering as quickly as it appeared along with the symbol.
