"Then... perhaps it's best we simply go to sleep early. Atticus is already ahead of us." Talbot suggested, motioning over to the sleeping lion on the couch. "Though.. he can sleep just about anywhere, and at any time of day."

His attention went to the lion. Arron grinned & asked, "...Th-Through anything?" He had a terrible idea.

"Ah, well that depends on the circumstance, I suppose. If he's on guard about something, he sleeps very lightly. If the situation is relaxed, it's very difficult to wake him." Talbot replied.

That reply was granted a very evil sounding chuckle from the mechanic. He quickly dashed to a drawer & started riffling through it, pulling out ribbons & other hair items. "I-I keep these to-to give out as g-gifts." he explained before turning around. The idea was now very obvious.

Talbot's expression turned into one of worry when he first saw the ribbons and such. He was used to being dressed like a girl himself, so he instantly suspected it. When he realized what Arron's actual intent was, he heaved a sigh of relief.

It took the young man a few minutes to realize the turmoil he had caused his friend. "...Oh... OH. Stars. I-I'm SO sorry. I-I... I'm an idiot." he said feeling very stupid with the items in his arms.

"Ah, no, it's fine. You don't need to apologize. It was my mistake." Talbot responded, shaking his head with an awkward smile. "I misunderstood. That's all." he admitted.

On that note, Arron handed Talbot a few of the ribbons & crept over to the lion. He was grinning as he started to braid the beast's mane.

Talbot smiled gently, then crept over as well and started to place bows in Atticus's mane. He made a line of them over the top of his head, then paused to admire his work.Atticus grunted, but didn't wake up.

It was not long before Arron had made small braids in Atticus' mane. He grinned, & pulled down his goggles to record what was done.

Talbot then sneaked down to Atticus's tail and gently placed a big pink bow right below the tuft of fur at the bottom. It looked absolutely adorable, and he covered his mouth to try to stop himself from giggling too loudly.

Seeing the bow at the end of the lion's tail nearly sent the mechanic into silent hysterics. He snorted & covered his mouth, but kept recording. This was much better than any game that either could ever think up.

Talbot admired their work for a moment, then nodded, satisfied with it. He smiled softly, then wondered how long it would take Atticus to notice once he woke up.

With that, Arron sat back down & yawned. He was still tired from everything. "So-So..." he started to say but trailed off, "...I-I got nothing." The rain had now stopped but the ground was incredibly muddy.

Talbot yawned as well, as if by domino effect. He rubbed his eyes and stretched his arms over his head. "Perhaps it's best to call it a night. The trip back with take a day and a half." he explained simply.
