The skies above were dark, gloomy. Clouds covered the sunlight, trapping its bright rays behind a screen of grey. Clear little droplets fell from the heavens, beating against the surface of the earth in a relentless attack. It drenched everyone unlucky enough to get caught out without an umbrella. Most people would have remained indoors, only reluctantly moving out of doors for necesseties or to head to work. On this particular morning, however, Dare Callahan had seen fit to challenge the weather and go for his usual lengthy run. Common sense had caused him to head through the park rather than trundle along the beach. The ocean could be unpredictable even in pleasant weather, he wasn't going to take his chances on a day like this. Well, that and he'd made plans to see Vixen at the park. Though the rain had him wishing he'd agreed to meet somewhere else. Common sense had also ensured that he didn't take the dogs with him on this particular run. Mutt had been most displeased when he'd left without her, and was no doubt taking her frustration out on Mine, but it was better this way. The last thing he needed was to carry a drenched pup and drag the other home. The giant was jogging at his usual pace, headphones in and music blaring. Unfortunately common sense hadn't dictated his attire, for he had seen fit to dress in his usual outfit for working out; a singlet and exercise pants. He'd felt that a jumper or sweatshirt would just hinder him. Not that the extra weight of soaked cotton would have bothered him, he just preferred not to have the material cling to his body much like the singlet was currently doing. It was white, too, which meant that the water had made it practically see through the moment he'd stepped outside. Again, not that he had minded all that much, he was confident in his body. But all the same he was thankful to be on his way home.
"I think next time I'll bring the jacket, anyway."
He muttered, chuckling to himself as he slowed his pace from a fast jog to a walk. While he was out here, he might as well enjoy it. He rested his hands on his head and tilted his face up to the sky while he walked, catching his breath. At least the exercise kept him warm, though his skin felt chilled. Dare spotted a puddle up ahead and was tempted to step in it. He hadn't done something so carefree for years.. Taking a quick look around to ensure that he wasn't spotted, he took off towards it, gaining momentum by moving at a faster pace. With a giant leap, he landed in the puddle and made quite a muddy mess. His rich laughter echoed in the dulled silence that surrounded him, mingling with the pounding efforts of the rain. That had been fun, but now his shoes, socks, and basically everywhere was wet. So much for waterproof shoes, these days. Still grinning to himself, he stepped out of the puddle and moved on. Suddenly remembering why he was there, he started looking around for his foxy friend, hoping that she'd kept herself dry. Otherwise they wouldn't be able to do much. Not many places would accept two potential customers looking like drowned rats. Where was she? He took his headphones out and decided to check his phone for any new messages.

Hey, how’s it going? I feel so close to home here, but you know what? It’s only home whenever I’m with you.
The fox rolled to her side, drawing her comforter closer around her petite frame. Golden orbs fluttered open, welcoming the sight of her own room, and her bed that now felt a tad too big for one person. In other words, she was a tad forlone. Her hands reached for the empty space on her bed, where a man with tanned skin and platinum blonde locks once laid. She knew he was a busy man, and if it wasn’t because of work, the fox would have followed him wherever he went. But alas, she’d push her numbered leaves no more than the times she was allowed. She buried her face into her pillows, picking up the faded scent of his fragrance that smelled of wild flowers. Golden orbs fluttered open, staring at the outdoors through the blinds of her curtains. The weather was gloomy, and so was she.
Oh, shut it. Come back soon, it’s already spring here, but it feels cold whenever you’re not around.”
The next time her eyes opened, faint rays of sunlight shone through the windows, though soon enough, they disappeared as quickly as they came. Pitter patter, the raindrops fell, like a soft musical tune resonating within her ears. Her eyes wandered to her clock, and she’d heave a small, quiet sigh. It was eight fifty nine.
‘Beep, beep.’ her alarm rang, forcefully replacing the soft melody of his voice within her memories. Was it so wrong of her to ask him to return right now? She propped herself up, dragging her heavy body off the soft, warm sheets of her bed. The fox rolled her eyes, slamming her fingers down upon the button on her alarm clock, before her feet carried her lazily across the -now- carpeted floor, and into the cold tiles of her bathroom floor. Could she call it quits for todays meeting? It felt strange waking up without the constant nagging of her need to have a proper breakfast before heading out, or that she should brush her teeth before going downstairs for her daily dose of caffeine. It had been a month since he left, yet the memories of his presence was as clear as day.
I’ll be back soon. Wait for me.
But I miss you.
The warm water from her shower hit her with a hard splash on the head, drowning out the sounds of the raindrops, and the faint bickering exchanged between the other duo in the house. But there was a voice she couldn’t quite drown out, one that belonged to a man she loved so dearly.
I miss you, too.
It was supposed to be a light shower this morning, but instead, it was still pouring by the time she was done taking her one hour showers, daydreaming and imagining the things that bring the least benefit to her mind. Umbrella in hand, and her black sneakers on, the fox was out the door, slow jogging to the park where she had agreed to meet her favourite giant a few days ago. He wasn’t too hard to notice, given his large stature and his very.. erotic appearance. If not to her, then to most of the passers by. Her slow jogging eventually turned into a full sprint in attempt to catch up to his relatively.. large footsteps that soon came to a stop. A mischievous grin curved her plump, cherry pink lips, and a playful glint flashed across her striking golden gaze. She wondered just what he’d look like when he’s frightened, or how he’d react when he’s startled. It would be such a sight, should someone as large as he, give off a rather.. cutesy scream. Little footsteps scurried over, ducking around when his amber orbs scanned his surroundings.
”Hey-..” she crouched, already prepared to leap onto his back.
”Da-- !!” but instead of what she initially planned, she was greeted by the cold water of the puddle that seemed surprisingly big for a split second. --..re.” raven locks clung to her pale porcelain features, and the lovely fragrance of her body wash was now replaced with a smell of mud and rain water.
”Dare-!!” unamused, she stomped her foot. ”I just took a long shower-!! The least you could do was appreciate my appearance before destroying it-!”

 Sidevi || On Person: $80 || In Bank: $740 || Mood: content Today was a decent day again, way better than the rain filled days of a few weeks ago.. So with that in mind Sidevi had set herself up at the park. She had a blanket sat down and a rather large.. container with food in it. She was using her camera as a clock as she may have shown up a little early... She couldn't help it she liked having things to do and this 'date' was a great thing to do. She continued to sit there watching the time on the screen of her camera. "I should really like.. buy Kiku a small tablet or something so she could message me. Or maybe she has something like that. I need to ask." She thought outloud. She sort of assumed Kiku didn't even have a phone. every once in a while a curious squirrel or bird would come by, distracting Sidevi for a short moment. Though one of the squirrels was brave enough to come over and jump up on the container, sniffing furiously at the lid of it, scratching to try and open it but clearly couldn't. This just caused Sidevi to chuckle and she poked it gently on the head. The squirrel gave a sort of scowl if that is at all possible for a squirrel before bouncing off and to the closest tree. Of course Sidevi pokes her tongue out at the squirrel as if it's supposed to know what that means. She returns back to the time on her camera, her tail swishing behind her slowly. Patience wasn't her strength though it was really her fault for showing up as early as she did. After a few more moments she flops onto her back and sighs, "Maybe next time don't show up early.." she pouted to herself.

╔══════════════╗ By default Patrick and Hiro arrived to their spot to their usual routine of visiting the park after work after buying his kitten a treat to chow on for continuous good behavior. Looking forward to the video chat with Kenzie after sundown as usual. Played with his beloved kitten with the help of the toys after the treats were eaten. Used his plant restoration on some torn up random plants on the out of the park from the usual tore and wear. Also do some close look at the trees in testing his knowledge about them and the types of clouds in the sky. [exit] ╚══════════════╝

The Righteous Tiger Goddess"Ku areba raku arii..." ❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆❆ Kiku was actually a bit nervous about the whole date, unsure if she was ready to do such a thing again. It had been awhile since she had been on a date and she hadn't really had time to get used to anything like it. However, Sidevi suggested they merely come to the park and eat and for Kiku that was a great date. She didn't need grand gestures or anything, just to spend time with someone. Kiku made sure to look as nice as possible, but not of place before it was time to go. Kiku took her divine path all the way to the park, getting there actually only a bit after Devi. Kiku took some time to watch the squirrel girl pout to herself a little before she jumped down from the sky, landing next to her though not kicking up dust. She smiled and sat down "Konnichiwa~!" she smiled. She chuckled "You got here early, you must really want this date to work." she teased a little. Sidevi || On Person: $80 || In Bank: $740 || Mood: content Waiting continued for just a smidge longer, she looked back down at the time, just have Kiku land next to her suddenly. An audible, "Ack!" escaped her as she dove to the side as if avoiding some kind of impact that didn't happen. She blinks a few times and looks to see Kiku just suddenly there, her tail flicks a few times before she shifts and jumps back, pouncing at Kiku which doesn't do much if anything Sidevi is just now holding herself up by Kiku's shoulders, "You scared me!" she says, though clearly not angry more of a surprised voice if anything, "Where did you even come from anyways?" She looks around as if expecting to find some form of transportation. She eventually looks back to kiku and smiles, shifting her arms around Kiku's shoulders in a hug. After the hug Sidevi drops down into the much larger woman's lap, "So uh.. how has your previous week been? Mine has been pretty good! Though it is nice seeing you again." she nods a few times, wondering if she should... Move? Maybe? She decides to crawl off and back over to the container of stuff she had and gets out a drink which she opens and quickly takes a drink out of, finally calm enough at the moment to respond to the tease that Kiku managed, "well! I was excited! though the need to tease back slowly crept up on Sidevi as she spoke again, "Hey maybe if I'm lucky, you'll kiss me again?" she giggled to herself. though her cheeks did have a faint red tint to them now.

She smiled and gently released the squirrel actually happy that she didn't seem mad at her little play. She chuffed as bit looking at the girl in her lap. She swayed a bit "It has been fine. I have been training and working." she answered honestly since it was mostly what she did. Work was also training so generally its what she stuck to. She was over wise exploring or sleeping, but that didn't need to be clarified. Kiku chuckled "I was looking forward to it to." she said before Sidevi brought up the kiss. Kiku could see the blush on her face, though she was as well since in this context it was a bit less of a tease...at least it seemed to her. She coughed "Maybe." she smiled opening up her pack and bringing out some stuff she made as well for the both of them to share. It was mostly sweets though however she set it down "You are off to a great start." she said. Really just asking her out was enough, but she could tell Devi was a bit nervous. Kiku was just looking forward to spending time with her even if Devi decided she just wanted things to remain normal at the end of it. Sidevi || On Person: $80 || In Bank: $740 || Mood: content Sidevi tilts her head and looks up to Kiku, speaking with a rather playful tone, "You may have just started a war! hehe, a war of who can keep surprising the other one maybe. Good thing none of it is malicious really." Sidevi shrugged then moved her container, which was pretty much a cooler, over towards Kiku so she knew she could get something from it if she wanted. "People are going to look at us funny and that's okay!" She began nodding a lot. Though Sidevi felt the need to ask, "Does that mean you want some sort of prize now too? Since you managed to sneak up on me?" She giggled rather happily, though her eyes shifted down to the sweets that Kiku had pulled out for the two of them, "So what all did you bring if I may ask? Nothing thats going to make me bounce off of walls and or trees? You may have to hold me down to keep me in check if that is the case." She snickered, though how she said it didn't imply any teasing.

Well you would win, I am not a very surprising person." she chuckled before looking to the container and pulling out a drink herself with a small smile. She thought "Indeed! If people get a kick out of us having fun then we brought light to them too and that is great!" she said happy with the prospect of bringing laughter to others while just having fun with her friend. She did continue to pull food out of her bag though having made quite a lot. Kiku thought for a moment "How about you kiss me this time?" she said half serious half joking since that was the reward Sidevi asked for. She looked over to her box of sweet "I will hold you. You are warm." she chuckled as she spread out the food and plates a bit excited to eat. She actually refrained from doing so so she could do this with Devi so she was pretty hungry. Kiku pointed "I even made special squirrel shaped cookies for you!" she then thought "Oh.....that might be weird. I also made tigers too!" she said hoping that was better. Sidevi || On Person: $80 || In Bank: $740 || Mood: content "I dunno... keep falling out of the sky like that and you might win rather easily." Sidevi said with her eyes kind of squinted at Kiku. Though she just nodded along with the later part, sure other people finding amusement in it would be fine. Though as she watched Kiku set up things she decided to pretty much do the same. setting up a few things, though not as many as Kiku. She left the drinks in the cooler though for obvious reasons, it was mostly tea anyways, "Wait I'm warm?" she asked suddenly. As if that one caught her attention more than the previous question. Though she did acknowledge the previous question now though, "I uh.. sure! Just tell me when I guess?" she tried to sound not all shy about it, though her tail sort of gave that one away with its stiff flicking. Though her attention was quickly brought to the cookies, "Oh that is really cute! uh.. why would it be weird that you made squirrel cookies? If they were made from squirrels it would be weird. She nods knowingly, then jokingly says, "Last I checked you don't eat meat. If you suddenly changed that then I might need to run as I am small, close and probably not as fast as you are." she said with a grin and poked her tongue out at Kiku. She decided to try and make Kiku a bit more comfy by eating one of the squirrel cookies just to kind of show that she didn't find it weird.

It is warm." she clarified to the squirrel though she understood why that might seem confusing if Devi couldn't see or feel it like Kiku could. She wished she could show Devi what she meant, but as that was not in her ability without a lot of training all she could do was tell her that. Still, it felt good to be around Devi. Kiku raised her hands, shaking them "I was joking. Joking." she chuckled a bit nervously. She could tell it was a weird thing to say though Devi herself had requested it. Kiku didn't want Devi to feel like she had to do anything, especially when it came to something as personal as a kiss. She understood that not everyone regarded these displays of affection like she did. She was actually thankful for the cookies to come up though it seemed like Devi was fine with the shape "Well its not actually made out of squirrel, but I thought it would be strange to be eating your own shape right?" she chuckled before picking up a tiger and munching on it herself. She watched Devi eat hers and nodded though she sighed "I-I am sorry. I am just a little nervous, it has been awhile since my last relationship and it did not end so well." she held her tail a bit. Kiku wasn't trying to make it too weird, but it was obvious she was nervous about it as well though she was trying. She tried to focus on something else "Oh! I made Korokke for you, and brought some fruit and nuts." She was still testing what Devil liked to eat of course since she didn't cook for others too often "Erm, Potato-style croquettes? Filled with crab I do not know how it tastes." she had to admit since she never ate it before she just knew how to make it after lessons. Sidevi || On Person: $80 || In Bank: $740 || Mood: content Sidevi pondered and tilted her head a bit, "I'm surprised my Ki is warm! Especially if I do things like climbing things I shouldn't well.. I dunno if that affects ki." she shrugs and continues eating things besides the cookie. Listening to Kiku as she does, "Oohh it was a joke, huh?" she playfully says back but doesn't add anymore to it really. She kept listening to Kiku though, answering the questions, "No eating squirrel shaped cookies isn't strange, people do it all the time making cookies modeled after pets or animals. You can even buy crackers that are all shaped like animals." it was a rather common practice actually. Her ears peaked up at the next part, Did Kiku think that they were going to be a couple after a little date like this, She looked up to speak but Kiku continued. So she decided to just continue with that, "Ohh! Crab is pretty good, But I sort of understand why you don't know how it tastes. No meat right? Not even seafood?" She had to ask to know for sure. she decided to try one to see if she did like it, though of course she sort of likes all foods really. Her tail swishes about as she continues with, "Oh! That actually is really nice!"
