Lyssan opens her eyes and looks around with interest. "Nice... Tam's told me how pretty it is, but I never imagines it was this nice. Where's Luna?"

I onwy swimmin and Mama say I mush swimm..." says Luna sheepishly.
"That I did, but you mustn't over do it. Promise me you'll come out when you feel tired or your wing begins to hurt." laughs Lyssan kneeling down to inspect the wing. "No damage... but she should probably rest it a bit. I do want her to exercise it though and swimming at least supports it while she does so."

Luna nods eagerly. "Daddy's box ish pwetty, buff nowt wive... can you hewp it wive, Mama?"
Lyssan frowns. "You want me to make your Daddy's tiny pocket live? What does your Daddy think about that? If it is alive, it will need lots of tending and something will have to live here to do that... will he like sharing his special spot with someone or something else?"

Lyssan sits down to take the place in, studying it carefully. Then gets up and inspects the trees and the small lake.
"Let me ask you something then... how sentient do you want it's inhabitants... basal... semi... completely... or not at all... those would be instinctive creatures... and what use have you in mind for this pocket. It's a retreat... right... from your troubles... will you be sharing it?"

There are others able to come here...Tam, for one thing...and Luna, for another, through her connection to me, she has shown that...anyone I bring here can get back...most just don't.

She breathes a sigh of relief. "Sorry... I'm just a bit nervous... sorry. Alright, you didn't say how sentient you want your caretakers yet... and if I make the plants truly living I need to give them some sort of lifespan... and so you'll need a few decomposers as well... ye know... maybe we should go see Ame about all this. He's pretty good at composing viable ecosystems. This area is too small to put in a population that may outgrow it's confines... so it will need some form of limitation and that's his expertize..."
