Mr. Scorch, I don't think you quite understand the power of a Dragon Slave. While Goku takes like 20 episodes to charge one up, Lina's done with her Dragon Slave in less than a full minute. Temporary invulnerability while casting makes her a dangerous foe as well, with an equally powerful (if not moreso) spell. Lina could totally kick Goku's a** in a fight. :[
...Well depending on the battlefield.

Hey, romance manga has the same cliches as romance novels. Seriously. The only difference is that manga has pictures. wink
Not to say that romance isn't fun to read, just that one form isn't better than another. Anyway...
