Shadow glared at Silver and stood in front of the door. "No one asked you... And you think I am squeamish over blood? Yeah right! I used to kill for a living, remember..?" He gave her a smirk, but it quickly faded to a frown of worry when he heard Lisaya screaming in some weird language. I don't speak Elonacian... but I know that THAT isn't pleasant... especially from her... Oh Lisaya... please be okay...

Endymion trudged up the stairs meeting Rugen. The man looked very worried. "Rugen... Apparently the Valheru..."

But Rugen finished his sentence for him. "The Valheru are gaining more power as we speak. And as they do... I am afraid it grows harder for us to sense them... Not to mention the stronger they get, the more easily they can blend in." The blonde across from him nodded and sighed. Rugen knew that he needed to find the rest of the band of seven... But he had no idea where to begin. "We just need to prevent them from taking any more victims!"

"This isn't the kind of blood that comes from the lives you've taken from men..." Silver said, a smile spreading across her face to see his stupid smirk drop. "Painful to listen to isn't it? Luckily Arious didn't have to listen to it when I was in labor." Silver said, forcing him to sit down. "Don't worry, it'll be done soon..." Silver said slipping into the house to help with the labor, not seeing April slip around the corner.

April spotted Shadow, seeing Silver making fun of him. Even since she was little it was like the two were in a constant war and Lisaya was the peacekeeper. Silver never mentioned why she hated Shadow so much, she just stated that with the lives he's taken... he didn't deserve what he got. April held no grudges against Shadow because she didn't know his past all that well, so why should she? Other than he was constantly overprotective of Lisaya... sounds like someone else she knew. She listened to Lisaya cry out in Elonacian... her stomach doing flips. Was this the exact pain she had to put her mother through? But much more painful because Silver was an elf.

Shira allowed a small chuckle to escape her lips. "I doubt you would give in... in fact, someone is crying out, this very minute, that you must escape. However... there are certain things we can do to bend you to your will..." Then all of what he said registered, and she bowed her head slightly, listening. "Hmm... be careful of your comments, mage, you never know who is listening..."

Larken blinked. He'd forgotten his name? Huh. This girl was obviously worth something. Had she run away? He shook the thoughts from his mind. "Em... my name is Larken. And Rugen is, if anything, most certainly not my friend. I'm just trying to find out some things." How bizarre, he thought. Our roles have switched. A sister trying to free her brother. A brother trying to find his sister. I should stop before I get any more brotherly. "I'll have to leave soon, but..." His red-brown eyes alighted on something in the distance. "Ah, Jasmine's returned."

Jasmine slipped away. She didn't really want to be there anyway, and Silver obviously needed some alone time. She quickly made her way back to the Valley, and soon she had reached Rugen's castle again. When she got there, Larken stood with a girl in a lovely dress. "Finally," she said breathlessly. "Who's this? No, never mind- Larken, you're not going to like this."

"Larken?" Shira's amulet cried. "That sounds... sounds familiar..."

(Just realized I forgot to post this, but the girl is in the next tree over, and I'm waiting for either Vaati to notice or Kaze.)

Arious growled back at the dark version of Shira. "I hold no fear for you. It is you who should me." However, he felt a shadow grab at his leg as if mocking him. He did fear them, but he hid it very well. His power in the wrong hands could be drastic... Just like Helios...

Shadow crossed his arms sat outside the house trying to not worry. But it was no use because with in five minutes he absentmindedly plucked out a whole patch of grass next to him. "Damn..." He mumbled hearing Lisaya shriek again. "At least she gave me a second chance..."

Veraldaine glanced at the man next to her in wonderment. The name... where had she heard it before? She brushed it off and continued. "Nice to meet you. My name's Daine." She didn't want the man to know her full name in case he might recognize it and make her go back to the city. That was one thing she would not do. She looked up at the newcomer and stared at her with her chocolatey amber eyes. He seems to have a lot of friends/// though he acts like a loner. Weird...

Vaati ears twitched slightly. He swore he could hear something small squeaking... or scurrying? He didn't know. Vaati merely shook his head and continued to climb, until his stare wandered off into another tree. Was that a girl? Suddenly, Vaati felt his grip slip, and next he knew, he was flat on his back on the ground.

Seth let out a strain scream. "Ughh! Liam... t-this..." No matter how how he tried to speak, the fingers gripped around this throat only made it more difficult. Seth kicked aimlessly, which was the only course of action Seth could bring himself to do. Liam was his childhood friend, and even though he was not exactly facing Liam, he still couldn't stand to blast him with magic.

"Of course. I'd rather miss out on everything then get sucked into more drama that has nothing to do with us." Darious answered, his voice dripping with anger. He wasn't angry with Tris, but rather at the drama that it took to get to where they were, with Endymion and everything else. He took her hand and brought back to his office-made-bedroom and gently pushed her into one of the chairs. "More wine?"

"Vaati!" Opal cried, rushing over to the Neko lying on the ground. "Vaati are you alright? Oh, this is a stupid idea! Making him climb a tree, Kaze. You're just hurting him again!" Opal snapped towards Kaze before bending down, she noticed he was looking up at something. Her eyes turned towards another tree, a red headed figure sitting among the leaves, looking down at Vaati. She felt a pinch in her heart before she helped Vaati up.

Moon had left, trying his best to stay away from Veraldaine. However he stayed close by to keep an eye on Larken. He breathed in relief when Jasmine made her way over to them, at least he didn't have to stay with the girl for very long. As well, she could keep an eye on Larken.

The girl watched the cat go down. It had seen her. Well, she hadn't exactly been trying to hide anyway, so she carefully scaled the tree until she hit the ground and looked over the three figures before her. A cat, a small girl, and an older boy. "Hello," she said uncertainly, slipping Mae into her bag.

Shira chuckled again. "Me? Fear you? You are drained. You have no weapon. You are exhausted in any way you care to mention. And you are blind." She frowned. Of course, she could not see very well either... She clicked her fingers, conjuring a small flame in her right hand. "Now... the King or Him...?" she muttered.

Jasmine glanced at Daine. "I'm Jasmine." Daine looked vaguely familiar. And her name scratched at something deep in her brain. But she couldn't focus on that now. "Larken, please. It's about... Shira..." Suddenly she simply lost her will. Her knees gave out and she leaned on her staff for support. "She... she..."

Larken's eyes widened in alarm. "Erk... What happened?" He couldn't have... he wouldn't have... His chest tightened. "What happened?" he repeated. That settled it. He was going in for a report, and he was finding out what the hell happened to his sister. Not the Triforce, not a target. His sister.

Arious glared and ripped his arm out of Shira's grasp. He quickly grabbed the knife from his boot and slid it in his sleeve as he dodged away from her. He wasn't going to give up that easy. "King..? you mean Helios? Who else is here!?" Just how many people had these guys taken over...?

Veraldaine shook her head and looked between the two people. "Um... I think I am missing something... but I am just going to be quiet now cause... Well yeah... I don't know who this Shira is..."

Trisiana smiled at Darious. "Sure. Wine is always nice." She dug in the little closet and pulled out a dark pink dress. She had stocked up on her dresses when Darious was busy with her father before. "No peeking!" She then turned her back to him and stripped off his shirt. She then proceeded to put on her silky clothing slowly.

Liam grinned and threw Seth into a nearby tree. He then walked toward him slowly, taking his time. "Seth, I just ask that you join me. Is it so hard? I take no pleasure in killing you. Really I don't. But if you refuse.. I shall have no choice. I'd hate to see you stab me in the back in the future."

Abel made his way about the castle. It was his first time in such a magnificent place. After roaming through the dining room, garden, and rec room, he found himself at a gallery of sorts, with some simply marvelous pictures. However, one picture stuck out the most. A picture of a beautiful woman. "Hm... I wonder who this is?" He muttered to himself as he admired the painting.

Shira smiled mysteriously. "Many are here. Some have rejoined us. Some are... loose cannons," she said, pursing her lips. "Like that red-haired boy. He must be reminded of his place." She allowed herself a small invisible force field and then began to step towards Arious. "Now, be a good boy and don't struggle..."

"Shira is... my sister," Larken said, supporting Jasmine now; all the fight seemed to have gone out of her. "She sort of disappeared." He decided not to tell Daine that he was most likely the main reason of her disappearance. He didn't want to scare her much more.

Jasmine burst into tears. "She... she's gone," she sobbed. "I saw the recent past. She's been taken over and she took Arious with her..." The name Daine scratched at her mind a little more, but at the moment she was completely occupied with the fact that her best friend, whom she had been looking for, had crossed to the dark side.

Larken remembered at the last moment to not grip tightly, or else he'd break Jasmine's shoulder. That b*****d.

(Kind of... stuck .-. Don't know what to do really.)

Arious glared and kept his stance. But he soon found himself at the back of a wall. Had it moved..? No... it was always there... It was impossible for him to see in this darkness. He cursed his own weakness he felt without his magic. "I will not give up easily!" He lashed out at her with his dagger but found it smacked into some invisible by wall. The blade hummed and shivered in his grip. Arious found his hand burning and he yelled and dropped the knife. Damn! If I had my magic... I could have pieced that thing... He side stepped holding his injured hand. He had a bit of nervousness in his chest now. He wouldn't admit it was fear. "I curse you and your kind..."

Veraldaine glanced between the people feeling awkward. "I'm sure... uh.. your friend will come back..." She didn't know what to say... She was really getting lost in all of the confusion. She decided that perhaps she should knock on the door... And she did.

Rugen appeared in the gallery intrigued by the presence there. When he saw Abel something about him made Rugen curious. He seemed familiar. "You would be looking at Lady Annileise... Prince Liam's grandmother..." He took in the man's features. He reminded him of Arious... and yet... Something else was still intriguing him. "And who might you be, Master...?" He knew the man was Elonacian and clearly related the Marquise family. He would have read his mind, but he did not want to invade every man's privacy...

(you could have April talk to Shadow...)

April walked over at Shadow, almost wondering why he was standing outside then inside trying to comfort Lisaya. "Are you standing out here for formal reasons? Because you and Lisaya aren't married yet?" April asked, her curious tone, trying hard not to be offensive towards him. She tilted her head to the side a bit. She hadn't heard any screaming from the house for a while.

Diness lifted her head when she heard voices nearby. She stood up slipping on her cloak to hide her exposed belly. She felt extremely vulnerable, sometimes wishing that she would just have the two babies and be done with it. Feeling the pressure of not being allowed to dance was unbearable too. She made her ways down the halls, listening to the voices.

Shadow sighed and looked at April. Why couldn't her mother be nicer? Ah well. He didn't need her. As long as he had Lisaya and the little one, then he didn't care. "I want to be in there... But.." He looked a but annoyed. "The midwife kicked me out..." Shadow crossed his arms and leaned against the house. He tried to be cool, but he was growing more worried that he hadn't heard anything coming from inside the house for a while... Not even a scream.

The midwife sat with Lisaya holding her hand. There was magic being used, but it was more of a calming magic. "There there young one... It shall be fine..." But she was more astonished with the babe that she held in her arm. When one looked at it, they would think it had very poor health. She had never seen such thing of its like before. But it was obvious that the man she had kicked out was the father. It had the same... aura about him. "Lady Silver... tell that man to come in here..." She was very concerned. Lisaya's heart rate had gone down and she was very pale... She seemed infected by the energy that the child possessed.

Endymion looked up from his books to see a figure moving slowly around. He had never seen her before, but he knew he knew enough about women to know that she was definitely caring around a burden. He watched her for a moment before actually walking out of the study.

"Hm, I don't think that's very nice especially since it's your kid... I'm sure Lisaya would have wanted it." April said, trying to get his mind off his mother who was screaming in her head. Ever since she got to know Tris it was like Shadow was a different person in her future. Of course Silver didn't care if he had changed. It was because of what he did in the past. Then what about forgiving and forgeting? April thought to herself, seeing movement inside.

Silver had been on Lisaya's other side, been saying cooing words into her ear to take her mind of the pain. Still pain was pain, and labor pain was ten time worse then getting a wound in your gut. She looked over at the midwife when she asked to bring Shadow in. Why him? Scoffing she gave a slight nod and opened the door. "You can come in and see you son Shadow." Her voice was calm, but cool. She almost looked like she was staring daggers into Shadow before turning back inside.
