Yugao's eyes were narrowed as his gaze was flicking along the ceiling, seemingly at random. Kairi noticed how Mairi's face went almost blank at the elder woman's question. To her, it was really creepy, though she reminded herself she knew little of these people. Mairi frowned slightly, thinking quietly. "I have a bad feeling, as it's all too easy for Katon jutsu to heat the atmosphere, effectively creating an artificial storm, which could be used as cover," she thought, her mental 'voice' colder and more analytical than her naturally warm, gentle voice. Yugao's gaze flicked abruptly towards the front door, his irises glowing a hot bluish white. "No, you don't," he spoke in a low, oddly echoing voice before electricity flickered, traveling in a matter of seconds down his left arm, condensing into his hand in a slightly whistling sphere roughly half the size of a baseball. Kairi went to follow the older woman. Mairi exhaled before she blinked, her irises paling to a silvery pale lavender. She inhaled sharply, seeing the form dart away from the front door as a tag glowed dully before she noticed Yugao hurling something bright that splashed against the door, causing the tag to go dark. Yugao's narrowed and still glowing irises shimmered iridescently with minuscule arcs of electricity slid slowly along the front of the house as thunder cracked overhead. "Nobody will be harming this home whilst this family retains ownership," he spoke in a low, oddly echoing voice as electricity flickered, arcing all over his body as if the electricity itself were a living, sentient force. Kairi jumped as the boom of thunder, startled by the sound which was far louder than anything she'd heard before. "What was that?" Kairi said shyly, her tone nervous as she didn't know precisely what thunder was. Mairi cocked her head, her eyes narrowing fractionally.
