"It's difficult for me to feel good about myself, all things considered." he stood up and grabbed his sword before walking to the door, pausing there. "I'm going to do some training. I'll return in about an hour or so." he said, then disappeared outside.Atticus stayed curled up on the couch lazily.

Arron would wait til Talbot was gone. Once he was, Arron simply went outside to the front & sat on the stoop. He put his face in his hands & massaged his temples, feeling a headache trying to start.

Talbot did just as he said he would, and went about training his sword-play skills. He focused on his foot-work, hand positions, and positions of weakness as he fought against an invisible enemy. An hour seemed to go by quickly, and he'd worked up a decent sweat, breathing heavily as he made his way back to the workshop.

Arron had dozed off on the front steps. His body propped up by the door & its frame, not knowing his friend was heading back inside.

Talbot paused when he saw Arron sleeping on the steps, then crept by him quietly so as not to wake him up. He then returned and draped a blanket over the mechanic's shoulders.

He did not awake when the blanket was draped over him. Unfortunately, Talbot was met with a frown & a soft mumble from the mechanic.

Talbot wondered if Arron was having a nightmare, and sat down on the step beside him to watch over him and make sure he wasn't in any distress. He would need to ask if there was a shower he could use later, as he'd sweat a lot during training.

Talbot's wondering was correct, but Arron woke up a few minutes later from moving & hitting his head on on the door frame. The knight got to hear a string of curses before Arron realized he was present. "...Er..." he tried to stay giving his friend an embarrassed look.

"Ah, are you all right?" Talbot asked, hoping Arron didn't hit his head too hard. He wondered what Arron might have been dreaming about, but decided against asking him.

Rubbing his head, Arron nodded. "Y-Yeah... j-just smarts is-is all..." he mumbled. The mechanic avoided his friend's gaze, feeling bad for making him feel horrible.

Talbot frowned when he noticed Arron seemingly avoiding his gaze. He wondered if he really hadn't been forgiven for how he'd acted the other day, and perhaps Arron was simply trying to act like everything was okay until the knight was able to stop the war. It was a worthy cause, to be sure, but it still hurt Talbot to think about, and he tried to shake it from his mind. "Ah... I'll leave you be, then..." he said quietly as he stood up.

"...W-Wait..." started the young man, "...T-Talbot... I-I'm sorry about... earlier. I-I was out of line... I-I was f-forcing you into letting me-me go..." The young man figured it would be best to tell the truth.

"Ah.. don't worry about it. I was the one that acted as though it were my decision. I'm not in control of what you choose to do." the knight bowed his head apologetically. "Sorry." He was at least relieved that what he'd imagined was not the case

He nodded. "It-It's okay, b-but I-I'm sorry as well..." he mumbled standing, "...Th-Thank you for the bl-blanket."
