Shia smiles at him and shrugs. "I'm stuck here, remember? I could try to meditate, but I'm not so sure where it would get me... But hey, I don't mind. It's better than the alternative. You two go ahead and practice all you want. I'm not going anywhere. And Ari, I do hope I can help you, like a sister... I'm not going to replace your twin. She's someone special. But if ever you need to talk to someone and she's not around... think of me. Just think of me and I'll sneak out of my little closet. Just don't go talking to me outloud... people might stare at ye then and that won't do. Also... I wouldn't go talking about me to your mama, either... not that I mind if you do, but it would make him awfully sad. We were rather close and I... I didn't get to say good bye to him."

Shia turns pale. "Are you sure that is wise. Tam was always a bit moody."

"Who's Tam?" asks Ari in confusion. She turns to Kero. "Mama's name is Ai and she knows how to dream walk. I know. She used to visit me all the time when she was in the deep sleep."
She would tell me and Mara things to do to make Daddy happy. He wasn't very happy then. He's happier now she's awake."

"Ai, huh?" muses Shia thoughtfully. "Love. Kind of fits him... he always was a bit on the gentle side. Papa practically had to force him to wear a sword and walk the far reaches." She looks at Ari for a thoughtful moment, then comes to some sort of decision. "You may have figured it out by now, but he was my brother... though how he came about to be your mother, I have no idea."

Ari gives her a blank look. "Mama's both... didn't you know?"

"What?" cries Shia in surprise. "Prim proper do everything by the book Talesian mis-used a spell. How did that come about?"

Apparantly Tam was one thing for his little sister and another elsewhere.

Shia gives him a funny look. "Interesting... how did Mama and Papa handle him having a boyfriend?"

Ari looks completely cnfused. "Granmama and Granpapa come by all the time. And Daddy is not a boy friend, he's Daddy."

Even as they speak of him, a certain angelic personage peeks into the cavern, in his hand is a tray of food. Seeing the two sitting silently on a mat in the center of the room, he tiptoes, so as not to disturb them, and places it on the kitchen table. The table is quite dusty, so he decides to wipe it down before leaving wondering how Ari is doing with her lessons, not realizing she's getting a good earful on the facts of life while he's setting up their lunch.

Ai sets up their lunch then places a single daisy by Ari's plate before leaving. He figures she could do with a bit of cheering right about now. Then he quietly leaves them to their work, whatever that might be.

She blinks at him, still half mind mazed.
