Silver almost wanted to snap at Larken. Why shouldn't she try to find him? It was probably Shira's dream, to find the man behind all the killings, the one who was controlling Larken himself. However, something else had captured her attention. There had been soft rubbing, like two fingers softly rubbing together before snapping. She always hated that sound, it was almost as worse as squeaking. There was a soft intake in breath, making her ears twitch. Was someone listening on them? She turned looking at the crack at the door. Sure enough there was a small shadow, covering up around a small patch of the door, which meant the listener was right up against the door. Larken... be cautious... we are not alone. She sent her thoughts towards him. She didn't know who was listening, however, if it was this creature Arious, Endymion and even Lisaya is scared of... then it's dangerous to speak now.

Tennri was walking around the camp grounds, after seeing Kaze doing his best to help out, and he was one who fought the hardest out of all of them. She decided to make her best effort to help out as well. Her ears suddenly twitched when she heard someone calling out to another. The guards were now running around making their way around the camp grounds. Was something wrong? Not many creatures roamed Salin, unless it was animals from the forest. But now that Jeract was dead, did neighboring countries finally decided to attack?

Hmmm... Larken stared at the door. He'd been wondering the same thing, but he wasn't particularly concerned. The room's air had taken a faint earthy scent to it. He didn't have his sister's see-through ability, but it wasn't difficult to figure out Jasmine must have woken up. Pity, though; that meant she had heard him say he had tried to kill Shira. Ah, well, couldn't have hidden it forever. He wrenched the door open.

"Gak!" Jasmine yelped as she tumbled to the floor. "Um... I tripped?" she said lamely, trying to cover up the fact that she'd been eavesdropping. She looked up at Larken with a freshly-burning hatred. Damn him...

Larken blinked, trying to betray no emotion, but his eyes were guilty. "Now, I know this sounded bad, but..."

Silver breathed her sigh of relief. It was only Jasmine. "Thank Goodness..." Silver breathed, releasing the hilt of her short sword, and relaxing in her seat next to Lisaya. Her defense had risen due to the fact that she promised herself that she wouldn't let Lisaya out of her sight again. She looked over at Jasmine, seeing pure hatred she was now directing towards Larken. This girl was Shira's close friend, of course she'd feel hatred towards the man who had been hunting her for so many years. "Let him explain himself... if he doesn't convince you, you can kill him... but, I warn you... Shira still loves him, no matter what he has done to her." Silver explained, turning and looking back at the resting Lisaya. It looked like she had fallen asleep. Good, after that ordeal she deserved a good rest. No disruptions. "I ask you, if you do argue, please keep it down."

Jasmine put whatever she had heard at the back of her mind. At the moment, something more important that Silver had said had caught her attention. "You said Shira accidentally stole this Arious's magic and she had to do a magic transference?" she asked. "As in, the moving of Arious's magic from Shira's body?" If it was true... well.

Larken raised an eyebrow. Jasmine wasn't mad? She must have been. Maybe she was just putting it off.

"...Hm? For what?" Vaati asked with a yawn. He then shook his head, and decided that he didn't need an answer. Perhaps explaining herself would make herself feel worse, for whatever reason. "Are you still going to watch Josline for Kaze?" Vaati asked instead as he approached the campsite.

Opal didn't answer why she was apologizing. She gently licked his hand before he asked if she was going to returned to Josline. The fear of the music calling out to her, and her facing that... thing again. She felt her ears droop. "She's dead asleep... it doesn't look like she's going to get up for quite a while." Opal answered, nuzzling herself under Vaati's chin. Besides... she thought silently to herself I want to stay with you...

"Magic Transference? Well, we're lucky that Shira was alive after... um, this Magic Transference. Arious' magic shouldn't be taken lightly, he's been training for many years to finally master it. Not everyone can just take it and know how to use it unless they were a highly trained mage... like-" She froze her mind racing back to the faithful day. "Ah... but my favorite magic... I believe is this majestic violet colored store. It grows constantly." A man with silky black hair and top hat danced in front of her, holding in front her a large orb of purple magic. She snapped back into reality, oh that was so long ago... three years to be exact. "Only a powerful mage can wield powerful magic, and Arious should be the only mage to wield his magic."

Jasmine blinked. "Magic transference... I thought so... that's bad..." She looked up, ignoring Larken. "I'm surprised Shira even went through with it, given her history with magical transference. Does she still wear a bandage on her upper left arm?" If the wound had lingered for all those years, Jasmine wouldn't have been surprised.

Larken tilted his head. "You amaze me... you aren't mad?"

"Oh, yes," Jasmine said, as if she'd remembered something. She punched Larken in the face, sending him sprawling to the floor. "I feel better now."

Silver gave a chuckle when Jasmine punched him across the face. "I promise..." She said, touching the amulet that Shira had trusted to her. She wouldn't let anyone have it, even if they had to kill her first. "We'll find Shira." Silver said, standing up. "However, right now I need to look after-" She looked back down at Lisaya, brushing a curl back. "She needs to rest... but once she's better she'll be much help, Lisaya is just as strong as her brother. When she's not being kidnapped by men." Silver looked over at Jasmine.

"You didn't answer my question," Jasmine pointed out. "Does Shira still wear a bandage on her upper left arm?"

Larken rubbed his face. "Your punch... is stronger than Josline's, most certainly..." He'd underestimated this girl.

(Shira does have the bandage, by the way.)

(But, since it was never directly shown to Silver... she wouldn't know)

Silver tried hard to remember if there was any instance where she saw Shira's arm. "... Not that I can recall. Though, I barely know the girl myself except for a few meetings. Except for that time in the field before she disappeared... the girl looked like she rather to keep to herself, not really making many friends... except with Josline, and Kaze." Silver said, still thinking to herself.

(Well, it is in rather plain view... she wears a blue ripped-up Link-style tunic, so it's pretty obvious.)

"Huh. Wait, who's Josline and Kaze?" Shira making friends she could understand. Shira liked people most of the time. That was what Jasmine knew, anyway. Now, coupled with what she had overheard, it seemed as if that wasn't the case anymore.

Larken stood up and kept his distance from Jasmine. "She still has a bandage on her arm. I've seen it, but I don't know what it's for." He felt another pang of guilt. It was his fault Shira's life was so messed up. His fault for turning her into a cold, unforgiving girl. He winced and tried to clear his conscience.

Jasmine's green eyes darkened. She could recall the day so easily. She wished she couldn't.

Arious moved through the cave until he came upon a crystal that was glowing bluish grey. "Here it is... just where I had left it..."

Endymion stared in bewilderment at his lost eye and magic. He reached out for it feeling its power long to be with him again. "That wasn't so hard... was it...?" However, before he could grab it, he noticed something odd. Arious was being awfully quiet. Arious stood there leaning against the wall. His face was pale... "What is it...?"

Lisaya opened her eyes slowly. "...Silver...." She sat up slowly seeing Larken and Jasmine in there as well. "Who... are you...?" She had heard a little bit of talk about her brother... But she had a headache... And why couldn't she remember the last couple of days...?

Rugen felt the tremor underneath the castle and held his breath. It was... moving... "The presence is fading... Where do you think it is going...?"

Milamber shook his head not knowing the answer. Then suddenly, the whole feeling vanished, as if it were never present at all. "I fear it has disappeared from this land completely... I cannot track it's presence... But I fear it may be almost too late for one..."

Trisiana had put on her robe and had a clean dress in her arms. She simply wished to bathe. "That... is funny... Father agreed to it.... and Darious... might..." She grinned at the thought.

Shadow shook his head. "Whatever Darious... I have things to care of... like my OWN woman..."

Liam shook his head. "I am not lying... Now... I have made a terrible mistake... I have to get you out of here..." He paced the room but stopped finding no solution to matter. "I have made myself look suspicious... Here... He handed her his sword which was pretty heavy. "I'll open a portal so you can escape.. but you have to knock me out..."

"Wait," Shira said shakily. "If I kept looking for my brother's master... if I kept searching... would I have ever found him?" If he said no...

Jasmine blinked. "I'm Jasmine... I healed you." She tried to shake away the awful memory, but it stuck like glue. Should she show them?

Larken looked over at Lisaya. "I'm Larken... I followed her because my sister vanished." He pointed at Jasmine.

Jasmine glared at Larken. "Ignore him, he's a cold-blooded murderer."

April glanced past the pile of jewels when Endymion asked what was wrong. She noticed that Arious was leaning against the wall, his face was completely pale. Was Arious already using too much energy that was holding this place open... or was it something else that connected himself to Endymion's eye?

Silver blinked over at Lisaya, quickly rushing to her side. "Lisaya, you need to rest..." She said, seeing her friend slowly rise into seating position. She blinked when she looked over at Larken and Jasmine. Of course, she wouldn't remember Jasmine due to her half-conscious state during the ritual... as well as Larken.

Lisaya

PostPosted: Sun Oct 23, 2011 7:00 pm

Sweat poured down Arious face. "Please... hurry..." Arious began faltering as his strength began to weaken.

Endymion grabbed the eye and slipped it into his coat pocket. "Damn fool! You are going to put your life force into it! Trying to show off..." He grabbed Arious' arm and began dragging him toward the doors "Open them! Arious... We'll die if you give out!" Arious muttered half a spell and the doors reopened. Barely.

Lisaya looked at both of the people before her. "He does not seem to be... such a person... And you are quick to judge..." She looked at Silver and tried to keep the pain out of her face. "Why... can't I remember... anything... Silver... Please tell me... you know..."
