Vaati quickly warped himself to the outside of the encampment and ran. Of course he could have simply warped to Opal's location, but he couldn't tell if she was endanger or not. It would be useless if he got caught as well. "OPAL? WHERE DID YOU GO?" He screamed as he ran into the field.
Darious smirked as grabbed a handful of Shadow's hair and yanked his head off the ground. "Now what do you say, Shadow? I suggest you be a good future-parent and let your little girl be happy. I promise to be a good... son-in-law, if it were ever to come to that." The shadow laughed,and held his free fist to Shadow's face.

Opal's ears twitched at a voice, but her heart almost stopped when she heard it was Vaati. She was so scared that the monster that was going to kill her had return, she almost wanted to run away. However, the fog and the darkness did not return, and the mark on Opal's arm slowly disappeared back into her flesh. She stood up, stumbling over her own feet towards Vaati's voice. "Vaati!" She called out, seeing his figure over the hill before she tripped towards it. She ran out and hugged him, teary eyed. "I was so scared..." She sobbed burying her face away in his arm; her whole body was trembling.

Vaati wrapped his arms around her small body, but he wasn't sure how to comfort her any other way. He couldn't remember ever being comforted when he was scared before he met Opal, though Silver tried. "It's okay, Opal. I'm not going to let anything happen to you, alright?"

The doors then opened up slowly leading in a black darkness. "Come on... this is very draining..." He then led Endymion into a chamber filled with gold jewels and other mystic artifacts.
Endymion stared in awe. "Why do I think you never paid taxes on this...?" He shook his head seeing things that were to be studied in books and ruins. "Amazing collection... but were is the main artifact I'm looking for?"
Tris glanced back out the window. Did he mention... Son-in-law...? that means... he is considering... marrying me?! She squeaked her happiness and went to find Milliardo to brag about it.
Shadow cursed and shook his head. "I'm done... Darious... She is obviously not going to change her mind about you..." He gripped Darious' arm now that his temper was cooling off. "Besides... I can now torture you over such things..."

April looked at the door as the two walked through the door. No, she couldn't miss this chance to snag a peek at what her father had in this secret room. Her curiosity brimming and her eyes widening, she made a mad dash for it before the doors could close. Her eyes did not deceive her with what she saw. Her heart flutter not at the jewels or the gold, but the magical artifacts. Every one of them brimming to the top with magic from all sorts, mainly mixing in with a small amount of Arious' own magic. She could feel the tug, but it wasn't sickening. She wished to pick up one this, to know what it did, oh the agony! She turned her head back towards the two men far ahead of her and ducked behind a pile of jewels so they didn't see her.
Opal, her body slowing down it's tremble, didn't remove herself from Vaati's comfort. She blinked her teary eyes to glance around, but the shadows did not appear, nor did the light from the mark appear from her arm. She was still confused, and frightened about what that thing was... and what it was going to do to her if the light had not saved her at the time.

Shira pulled away. "Liar," she said contemptuously. "You're lying." If he wasn't lying... she couldn't face it. The people she had seen get killed... burned in fires... slashed to pieces.... If that had all been wasted because she never would have found him anyway... she tried to push away the growing dark thoughts at the edge of her mind. "I'm going to die here, aren't I?" she said suddenly.
"You don't know what I've tried to do to my sister, do you?" Larken asked softly. "I've given her every reason to hate me. I've lied to her, tricked her, trapped her, and done almost everything I can to kill her. Why would she still love me?" Why was he trying to hard to deny that he cared about his sister? And why was he still telling himself it wasn't true?

(When I looked back on some old posts I remembered I had a character I can still use, yet I've sort of forgotten ^^;
Tenny: YOU DAMN LITTLE BI-
Me: Quiet your mouth Tenny... that's no way to talk to me....
Tenny: -bites her lip and angrily glares at me-)
Tennri had been in the battle when everyone was fighting. Striking her foes with lightning, laughing at them running in fear from a fifteen year old girl. She blinked suddenly hear Jin call out that Jeract was dead. Everyone was cheering and hugging that the war was finally done. That's all she could remember sitting inside of a tent. Everyone was cleaning everything outside, moving bodies so that they could bury the dead. She leaned her bloodied sword up against the canvas walls before making her way outside. She had retained a few injuries, yet not to bed rid her for the longest of times. She heard shouting and tearful crying coming from one tent, before a red headed made his way out. He looked like he was going to help with the clean up.
"Sometimes love can overpower anything..." Silver said, remembering the anger towards Arious that one time. When she felt that jealous rage when she felt neglected. However, since she learned from that incident, she never got angry when Arious suddenly left her. She had gotten use to his need for adventure, and knew that she would always be ready for his return home.

Larken glared at Silver. "And what would you know about it?" He looked at Shira's amulet. "And I don't care what you told Jasmine. Shira wouldn't drop that amulet if it was going to kill her. Either you stole it from her, or she's in bigger trouble than I previously believed." Why was he getting so worked up over a piece of jewelry? "So I would like to hear- in detail- what happened." He was just getting information for his master, he told himself. Something deep within him said, Yeah, right.
Jasmine woke. She hadn't realized she'd fallen asleep. And where was everyone? She heard voices upstairs. One of them was Silver's the other Larken's. Definitely. What were they talking about? Jasmine picked up her staff and crept up the stairs...

((Hmmm... might have a slight idea for Darian. I don't know how long it will last, but it's something right?
And sorry guys, I'm addicted to Shadow Dragon right now. It helps me when my friend tries to beat WW.))
"Opal, transform and I'll carry you back to the camp." Vaati mumbled in a whisper. He still felt like crap, but his wounds weren't going to heal overnight. Running after Opal didn't help at all, but Vaati didn't regret it at all. Though, now that she safe, however, he was beginning to feel tired again.
Darious' smirk slowly faded into a frown. "Really? After I promised to be good? Shadow, not even I would stoop that low." The shadow mumbled, slipping out of the Shadow's grip. He stood up and dusted his clothes off. "Now, if you don't mind, your daughter asked a favour of me, and I should go see to it."

Silver looked over at Larken, hearing him demand what happened. Like she even knew what happened. She found out that the figure was Lisaya and Helios, she had her mind on saving Lisaya. However, when she looked over she saw that another figure was enveloping Shira with shadow, she tried to save her. Yet the shadows rejected her and sent her backwards. In the last minute, Shira took off her amulet and threw it to her shouting 'find him' yet she didn't have time to explain who 'him' was and with that she vanished. "I don't know what happened... she was under the shadows when we were attack, I had to save Lisaya, so I couldn't get to Shira in time. She took off her amulet and slid it to me saying, 'find him!' but she didn't clarify who 'he' was. Then she vanished, and that's all I know." Silver tried her best to explain.
Opal looked back up at Vaati, her body still shivering from the incident. She still couldn't explain what happened. She transformed into a small kitten and curled up in Vaati's arms. She was thankful that she was so small and light for Vaati to carry. She probably put him through a lot of pain, having him come after her. "I'm sorry Vaati..." Her ears folded down.

"Him...." Larken murmured, scrolling through a list of Shira's known associates in his mind. Maybe it was... no, I killed him. Maybe... no, killed him too. Perhaps the old man? Preposterous. As far as he knew, Shira had almost no ties to anyone, and, he realized, he himself had cut the rest. Jasmine had been a fluke. Maybe her new friends? But they were still in Salin. Arious? That was the first real possibility he had run upon. "I can only think of a few men Shira might know that are alive," he muttered. "Kaze and his friends, Arious... and me."
Jasmine huddled outside the door, hardly daring to breath. Had she heard right? Shira had been attacked by shadows? That would have explained the mess with the shadows of the past earlier. She thought about what she knew about Shira's amulet. She carried it with her everywhere, and she'd never let go. And when someone with magical abilities carried something all the time... Jasmine rubbed her ring as things began to make sense.

Silver looked up when Larken said Arious,. She had only seen her with the man once and she was extremely weak. Why would she put so much trust into Arious now... did she- no! Silver eyes almost flashed red with a green tinge with anger and jealousy. She gave Arious her immortal life so she could spend the time with him! She gave up the right of being an elf for her love of Arious, there was no way she'd let this girl steal- she shook her head. What was she thinking? The two of them had been married for almost three years, and had a daughter of their own. There was no way this teenage girl... could steal Arious' heart. Her heart calming down, she turned back to the real issue at hand, who Shira was talking about when she gave the amulet to Silver. "It's possible she meant Arious, seeing as the two were together before she was taken away... Apparently, Shira took Arious' magic for a bit and they had to retrieve it from her before it killed her... Yet, we all know Shira isn't the most trusting person... so why would she trust Arious after a few hours of conversation? Even enough to give away her most treasured possession... or it could have meant you, because the reason why she was taken so easily... was because she discovered where to find your master... she might have meant 'find him' as in find you... and keep you where you are... or she could have meant 'find him' as in Arious to get help." She tried to simplify the situation.

(Seeing as Jasmine's totally oblivious to Larken's past with Shira, let's make her overhear something bad.)
Larken blinked in surprise. "Finding Master...? That idiot. No wonder she called for help. She has no idea what she'll be getting into. I know I've burned villages and taken captives to find Shira, but if he finds her, or she finds him... well, what I've done will seem like trivial consequences..." As for the amulet, Larken could easily see why Shira wouldn't trust Arious, but he was almost sure Arious had caught her off guard, out of survival mode, which was when she really didn't trust anyone. Still... why would she mean him? The amulet... she carries it with her everywhere... Hmm, I wonder...? He hadn't missed Silver's flash of jealousy, but was pretty sure it was unfounded.
Jasmine's eyes widened in fear. She'd assumed Larken was looking for Shira for a different reason, but this... this was ridiculous. He tried to kill her? He took captives and burnt villages to cinders? What else had he done? What big secret did Shira hold that was worth murder?
