Quick question: I have some vague ideas for "Without a Trace" but they will all require explanation or they will seem off-theme. Is it okay to have a drawing that seems irrelevant without a couple of paragraphs? This seems like it might be pushing a bit farther than the puns and twists we've tried in the past.

This seems like it might be pushing a bit farther than the puns and twists we've tried in the past. pm me the idea, and i can try and give a better idea of if I think it might be acceptable? A swamp Just like Anne Mine I drew Nøkken. :3 I'll admit it was her idea to draw nøkken! xD As she already has said, nøkken is a mythological creature that lives in the norwegian swamps. Often are they in waters where you also find waterlilies, which means I always was scared of swimming where there were waterlilies when I was little. xD Nøkken lures humans into the swamp and then drowns them. The way nøkken does this differs, sometimes it is a white horse which will ride you into the swamp, sometimes it plays beautiful music and other times it appears as a beautiful girl. :I But in the end you'll be drowned anyways. What the actual nøkken looks like remains a mystery, I haven't read anything about that before, so it is often portrayed just as some glowing eyes... Just like I did! xD I don't know if any other countries have a creature like this... >.>; But I guess Denmark and Sweden may do. razz http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m159/dark_pillow/nkken.jpg

This is really really gorgeous. I love the composition, the colors, the background, the reflection, everything, Ahhh! I thought that the eyes were car headlights at first... but that just makes it creepy in a different -- more human and less supernatural -- way. wink Once you said they were eyes, I can can tell that's what they are. XD

I thought that the eyes were car headlights at first... but that just makes it creepy in a different -- more human and less supernatural -- way. wink Thank you very much! biggrin haha, well, it could be. razz Maybe nøkken is a car!? >o> Wait... Nøkken has existed longer than cars... -__-; I think the eyes are cute! xD I've seen other drawings with glowing eyes like that, and I've always thought they were cute. xD

As in the pookas in the game "odin sphere"? :I the shapeshifting animal, usually a horse in the myths I've read, that gets a person to ride it and then drowns them, usually in a swamp, or drops them off at a high cliff or something xd or I could do a kelpie xd
