Once she is finished with her snack, Luna curls up in the crook of his arm, her head across his shoulder resting under his chin. That, perhaps even more than what he saw earlier tells him she's far bigger than her thought, for he remembers her curling up in his arms and barely making an armful. Lying there with her, his fingers slowly caressing her chin, he wonders where time has gone. Funny how fast it flows by, one moment it was here and the next years down the road. And he, with his ability of jumping from one time flow to another had forgotten how to appreciate the gaps in between.
Soon her breathing slows and she dozes off, lulling him into a restful calm... one of the many blessings he has learned to appreciate since he fell in love with the tiny creature and claimed her to raise as his own.

*And so he reflects...long and hard...and finally decides to do something he should have done a long time ago...then thinks better of it...he will need his crown, and his command of the Void, when the time came...*

Of course he will, but Rhea was doing a bang up job sitting in for him. Perhaps there was a way he could finalize a more equitable sharing of responsibilities with her. Rather than he dumping it all on her or she throwing it all back at him, between the two of them, perhaps they could arrange a way to share the load. That way neither of them would burn out so fast. It was a thought, one he had not exactly considered before. Sharing... what an odd concept and one he would never had considered had he not met Tam and Bez who share their responsibilities so supportively, or even Luna who refused to be left out of even the most menial of tasks... or Pasura, who demanded he be allowed to help.

*And he smiles, taking off his crown and looking at it...alone among all creatures, he knew what the crown of the Void was...the rare fifth Race of the Void...only ten members oif the species alive at any time...the Jarleksii...whose natural magic amplified a Voidic mages powers when they attacked or defended their home...but if he shared that knowledge with Rhea, he knew she could handle the job...and he lays back down, waiting for his little dragon to wake up...*

Luna's nap lasts for the better part of a hour, allowing him ample time to determine a course of action. All he needed to do now was present the idea to Rhea and see how she felt about it.
Luna's stretched and yawned, waking slowly, then sits up and looks about. "Pwetty..." she croons as she looks about them.

She looks around in amazement, then he sees her face fall a bit. "Too cwean... awive buff not awive..." she whispers softly, looking up at him. "Buff pwetty." she licks his chin to take the sting from her words.

That's part of it, Luna...but do you remember what I told you some call Voidic magic? You called it that yourself...you called Twilight magic Life Magic, which means Void magic is....

Correct, Luna...I'm not like Volgon...I don't wield purely death magic...but death magic falls under my dominion, Luna...as well as under that of the shadowed realm...which is why I don't use it. But it's also why I can't make a living realm...because I can wield death, my power is forbidden to wield life, including it's creation...do you understand?
