Sorry, that one's an in-joke. xd Last year the day-one theme was "Prim Mantis" and no one could figure out what Kai meant... she meant praying mantis but she's French Canadian and messed up the English. We got some amazing pictures of very prim praying mantises!

I decided to buy Sai! This was my first testrun. Granted, I only had about 15 minutes again today to do this, but I actually really like it! Such a better program than Jasc. It helps that I get to draw adorable little munchkins like koalas! *hugs* 4laugh
If you have a tablet, most art programs allow for you to use pressure sensitivity which allow for the lines to be as bold, thin, or tapered however you like. Layers are also always lovely when refining lines. When I lined with a mouse back in 2005 and before, the pen tool was my bestest best friend because I could make perfect lines and manipulate the final line to mimic pressure sensitivity. Heck, I still use the pen tool now days. Very useful.
