Yus I notice the theme. Magic Knights Rayearth fits right into that genre razz 3 magical girls of different elements, and its by the same people that made Cardcaptor Sakura ;P

CLAMP is indeed good.
Nariana... donno if it would fit into your category or not... but a cute 'love story' with some action... and sort of 'magical girl' in it is "Night of the Beast".
I thought it was pretty good. possibly a bit bloody in the sense that the one guy runs around trying to kill billions of people, but still good. I dont wanna give too much away, but lets just say that love seems to transcend and even beat like centuries of hatred and anger. xD
