"I'm not falling for another trap!" Shira shouted aloud. "Stop trying!" She just wanted to get out of this crazy place. But she had no home to go back to... then she'd just go find Kaze again. She had to find someone and let them know she was alright. She only knew she wasn't safe here, therefore she had to leave.

"Right," Shira growled, "and I'm the Goddess of Courage." She wrenched her arm free. "Why should I trust you?" Her survival instinct really had kicked in by then. She no longer trusted anyone. It was just like it had been for the last four years.

Shira narrowed her eyes. This guy looked familiar... "Okay, fine," she snapped. She had a slight suspicion it was Helios, the person who had hurt the other girl so badly. Or maybe it was some other hooded figure. Just how many of those guys were there? "Then what am I supposed to do? And if you say follow you, I'm going to stab you right now." Okay, she wasn't as nice as she was normally, but that didn't matter.

The man turned to look at her and pulled the hood back. It was the younger man from before. The man named Helios had called him his son. "I cannot work with someone who can't even trust me!" He whispered harshly. He continued to walk away. "I should let Him deal with you..."

Liam grabbed her by her shirt. "Just hush... I'm trying to help... I had to put you in there... As you can see... I'm not like the others..." It was true.. His eyes were still teal and his magic was still the vibrant blue. They then changed back to a murky color. "I am playing a part... trying to help the good... I cannot be discovered... Do you understand...? You must do as I say.." He said this so quietly that it was almost in audible.

"You're still a jerk," Shira muttered. "I just want to get out of here and..." And then what? With a start, Shira realized she didn't know what to do next if her next lead proved to be another red herring. "Did you mean what you said earlier?" she asked cautiously. "You can help me with my brother?" If he lied, or if he said no...

"Oh, Shadow, calm down. I'll have you know that I'm still wearing pants... though that wasn't the case last night." Darious pulled away from Tris' neck and smirked. "Besides, you were the one that told me to find a girl. I took your advice and now you're ticked? I feel like everyone is after me."
Vaati stiffened when Opal spoke of her father. It wasn't easy to be in love with the daughter of a Wind God, especially since he used to try to possess the power to reveal one. "I don't even know if Kaze knows who Jin is."
Dark watched curiously out Shira's shadow. Liam looked exactly like Seth, aside from the fact he hand teal eyes and blonde hair rather than red eyes and black hair. But if Liam was trying to keep a secret,t hen wasn't it is job of as a shadow to ruin that?

The man nodded very slowly. "I was serious! Just as I am now... we are both in great danger..." He grabbed her and held her close. He then half carried/dragged her down the hallway and hid her in the shadows. At the end of the hall, boots could be heard walking across the ground.
Trisiana simply put her hands over her face and whispered at Darious harshly. "Don't tell him that... That's embarrassing, Darious!" Her face was growing even more red.
Shadow growled and ran to the edge of the bed. "How... dare you! I simply made fun of you... I didn't want to go elope with my DAUGHTER!" He balled his hands in fists and almost grabbed his sword from his back.
Milliardo simply laughed. He was protective of Tris to an extent... but this was just funny. He never knew his father would react in such a way...

Shira huddled in the shadows, hardly daring to breathe. She still didn't trust Liam, but... the way he said everything seemed to make it a little true. He seemed like he really knew where Larken's master was. If he did... if she could find him and kill him... then maybe... just maybe... she didn't finish the thought.

"I'm sorry dear, it's fun to tease your father. Dark and I could make a career out of it." Darious whispered back, brushing her hair back over her neck to give her a little more privacy. "Oh please, Shadow. You sounded quite serious. I was making fun of you the entire time! Beside, do you blame your daughter? Everybody wants a piece of me." He laughed and stuck his tongue out at the men by the bed.

Liam waited holding her close to his chest. After a good while, he looked out to make sure Helios was gone. Seeing that his father had left, he relaxed a little. Realizing that they were still very near, he let go. "Sorry... I couldn't let him find you or hear your thoughts..."
