She watched as Denji handed Mercutio the hammer, her eyes widened. "You're going to make him use it, when he's never fought before?! Are you out of your mind?" She saw that Josline opened the main door to the dragon's lair, shaking her head. "I have a feeling this isn't going to turn out well..." She tightly gripped her weapon, walking behind Josline as she stepped through.

"If he doesn't fight, he will never learn to fight. How long do you think he can keep running away from fights for?" Denji answered, drawing the Master Sword before entering himself. Mercutio bit his lips and followed.

"Nothing here." Josline said as they stood on a cliff, her voice seemed to echo. She looked around seeing a platform blew them, and what looked like an area, with many holes filled with hot lava. But no Dragon was in sight. "Are you sure theres a Dragon?" She asked looking around. Could this have been a mistake? Was it a trap? Josline wasn't sure.

Masako looked around, noticing the same thing as Josline. "No dragon in sight." She walked forward, seeing a platform. She jumped onto it, then onto the prime landmass with the lava pits. She held her weapon tight, nervous now. Why isn't there a dragon? Is this a trap from Ganondorf? What's going on?

Josline looked at Masako as she followed after her. "C'mon guys, stay prepared... there is a possibility that he's hiding..." Josline said landing next to her. She didn't bothering taking out her dagger that was hidden up her sleeve. But her magic should be able to help.

Denji hopped onto the platforms and the platform shook violent as Volvagia rushed into the air from the lava. Mercutio, get your butt over here!" Denji shouted. The frightened kitten did as he was told.

"Look's like he was hiding." She said seeing him fly around in the air. She knew they wouldn't have a chance if he was in the air. She noticed him dive back into the holes, flame started to rise out of one of the holes and vanished and moved to another. "So, you show yourself before you even lift you head up." She said seeing Volvagia lift above the lava just showing his head. "QUICKLY MERCUTIO, USE THE HAMMER!" She said.

Mercutio didn't hesitate to swing the hammer at the dragon's head. Denji squeezed himself in for a jumping attack at the its head while it was stunned. "See, that wasn't so bad, was it?" Denji asked as he pulled Mercutio out of the way.

Masako stood back, watching. She knew that they'd be able to defend themselves. She knew her petty weapon wouldn't be able to stun the dragon, nevertheless even damage it's shielded body. She watched as Mercutio stunned the beast with the hammer, then Denji jumped in the way to attack the dragon's head. She knew then that it wouldn't take much with that kind of combo. "Great job you two! Keep it up, just a couple m-" Before she could finish her sentence, the dragon rose from its stunned stance, rising into the air. A second passed and large boulders began to fall from the ceiling. "It's going defensive, watch out Mercutio!" She jumped forward, throwing one of her large nails to pierce the center point of the boulder, making it shatter. She fell to the ground, crouched. "Everyone, watch yourselves." She stood, and jumped back, but as soon as she landed, she looked up, watching as a falling boulder neared her head. She barely rolled to dodge, but the heated boulder crashed against her leg, making her yelp in pain when a hushed cracking noise sounded.

"Masako!" Josline shouted and rushed to her aid. "Are you alright, can you st-" but she saw a boulder falling towards them. She quickly snapped her finger as the boulder suddenly exploded. But she didn't leave the girl's side as she continued to defend her from the boulders until Volvalgia came down and hid in one of the holes. "Are you alright Masako?" She asked examining her leg.

Masako was almost surprised as Josline came to her, worried of her condition. "I think my ankle is crushed." She also looked at her leg as Josline was examining it. It was already bruised a dark purple, starting to swell. She knew that her ankle had been broken, but she didn't care. She pushed herself up, standing on one leg. "I'll be alright, thank you, Josline." She smiled slightly and then took a breath in, taking her iron nail and cutting a small wound into her palm. "I call upon the shadows of our souls, arise and serve to protect us!" She let the blood drip onto her and Josline's shadow, then let some leak onto her nail, then threw it to stab into Mercutio's and Denji's shadows as well. All their shadows began to glow a purple hue, then arose over their heads, creating almost an awning over themselves. "Our shadows will protect us, they'll serve as shields. Don't worry about the boulders, they're only a distraction now!" She clenched her teeth as her ankle began to throb. She slowly slumped onto the ground, taking a breath.

"Take a break Masako, I'll take care of it later!" Mercutio promised as Denji pulled him out of the path of the roaring dragon. It splashed into another hole. Mercutio prepared himself with Denji right on his back, taking deep breaths as both of their eyes scanned the area.
