I have two brothers, Shia...not counting my other nestmates, who passed through the dark veil long ago....one of them you've met, Hopian...the other is Desdemon, my oldest nestmate, who fell to the shadows saving my life...he's the reason I took this job...It was partially my fault that he became a shadowmage...so it's partially my responsibility to see him brought to justice for his crimes...including my murder, and the theft of my heart...
Pray you don't ever meet him, Shia...Desdemon is dangerous...even more than I am.
But enough on that maudlin topic...any other questions?

the waterhorse waves at his head with a levitated spoon, but she chuckles as she does so.... ah... she says with a sigh... when ye and the lady are gone this castle is so quiet.... even more so now that talesian has gone off and found himself some sort of quest to work on.... and shia is off with ye learning whatever it is she's learning... keva isn't a bad sort of kid... but he rarely causes trouble on his own... a follower is he, no leader he be... and amestru is no help... does not but sulk... when he's here, of course... he's been leaving more and more of late.... and when he comes back he has suh a far away look in his eyes... lyssie once told me he won't be here forever... that he'll be wanting to go home someday.... do ye think?... i mean... he's been away from his people for a very long time......

If he does, then he will have to be ready to face my successor...I won't be Voidmaster forever, Champhy...when I die, the amulet that keeps him alive in other times will disintegrate...and he will follow me, if he is not home...

So he needsssssss to remember what issssssss and what isssssss not important...perhapssssssssss I sssssshould conjure a televissssssssion in his mind...ssssssssssshow him that silly movie...the incrediblesssssssssss...
Note: Had to put them in there....partially because it's just a great movie...even if the fabric lady steals the show...who'd have thought a director could just take over a character...and do better than the actor!!!

champhy laughs sourly... when ever has the mind and heart been truly one, kerobian.... i know of many who'd follow one or the other to their everlasting regret... it is an easy thing to say... to know what is important... but what is important to one may not be the same to another... right?

not sure... lyssie tried to explain it once... but it made no sense... something about the difficulties with interfering with time lines and all... i know poor tam would love to be with his family but he's agreed himself not to return... he seems to understand... i do not....

It's a spell we Voidmages use when we're worried about our families...or when we need to see them again...when cast, it allows the the dreamer to enter wherever their families are...as a solid or as a ghost, and spend time with them....while their body rests...it's perfect...because the dreamer has all their senses online as they slumber...Amestru can live with his family during his waking hours...and with his pack when he slumbers...
