Another surprise? Crimson lifted her eyebrow but kept the blade on the boy's back.
"Come up?" She laughed a little, and continued, "So, you invite any old person into your refuge? What if I was infected? That would be mighty stupid."
She held her back straight, her hand gripped tighter on her blade. Crimson wasn't about to trapped. She knew some people who actually helped their infected love ones feed while trying to bring back what was lost in them. It was shame when she had to kill them all.
Survival never came at a pretty price.

((Yes yes, post away!))
"Oh..." Kalila was taken aback. All she was doing was trying to be nice. Before Kalila's inferiority complex could take over, Nicholas pushed his way in front of her. "B*tch you better calm the f*ck down!" He was still angry from before. "She was trying to be nice!" Kalila quickly smacked her hand over his mouth and gave the older girl an apologetic look. "I'm s-sorry... He's a little riled up right now." She said timidly. Nina got up and gentally pushed the siblings out of the way and leaned against the window. Kalila was too easily hurt for this situation and Nicholas was just not a good people person... and he was pissed. She looked out and saw the girl was her age, and rolled her eyes, Kalila needs a backbone sometimes. she thought. Kalila was strong, easily pissed, and good with words when she needed to be. It was a perfect combination for someone holding up in a fight. But the girl's self-esteem basically cancelled that out at times. "I'm sorry, I don't think you understand." Nina said with a genuine smile. She was a good natured person. "If you two are infected we plan to kill you when you turn, not before." Nina informed, she pointed at Kalila with her thumb. "She already thought that through, I'm sure. This fine 'base of operations' is mine. I invited you guys because survival in numbers is easier. We have supplies and weapons." She said simply. She was now looking at her thigh in a relaxed expression. She was wearing tight boot cut jeans. "Now come in or stay out... Me da lo mismo, me da igual." She said with a shrug. She crossed her legs at the ankle, her gothic combat boots that Kalila got for her last birthday clicked as metal touched metal.

When Crimson saw Nina, she must say, she felt her fur straighten down. To say the least, she feel the likeness between them.
Crimson laughed when she saw the little boy come from behind the first girl, Kalila, cursing her out. It defintely been awhile since she had seen sane people, the closet to normal.
"Niceness won't help you survive. That's thinking the old way, when we didn't have zombies."
She kept her smirk on her face but gestured with her free hand to the boy sitting before her.
"I'm not sure if he's infected, but I haven't been and don't plan to be anytime soon."
She watched them for while, the tension dissipating slowly. Appraising each of them, she remembered she hadn't changed for days and her clothes were ripped. In the worst of places. Suddenly, she felt her cheeks heat up, but luckily, no one can really notice with her skin color.
"Una latina tabien?"

Christian let out a sigh of relief. the b***h behind him wasn't infected. "Well now, why don't we all just take a nice calm breath and.." He slowly turned around, lowering Solar. "Relax, none of us are infected, so we don't need to be hasty. I however am running low on supplies, and would love a space in your hom." He said to Nina and the Girl. He began to climb down the exit, pulling out his katana as he crossed the street, nobody could be too careful. He wasn't too glad to be treated like a piece of bad meat, but whatever, soon he would be safe. He re-sheathed the katana, a loud sound resonated from the sword as it slid into its black case. He began to scale the ladder, reaching the window, and taking Nina's hand as an offer inside. Once inside he analyzed the situation. Looks like, a medical specialist, a nearly infected, two masters of the sword, and an all around genius. He thought to himself, breaking down the specialties of everyone other then him. He looked cautiously at Mizuki, the virus it looked like hadn't spread, and wouldn't unless exposed to more of the similar bacteria. He took a seat on a chair, mumbling to himself, and then moving his hands as to make battle situations and work on different things. It was his talent, to analyze and coolly find a solution. He took a quick glance around the room, provisions looked like they would hold till daybreak. He began to ask a question. "Are you going out at anytime?" It was his chance to find another weapon to replace his knife.

((Ha ha... That's ok. I'm only in Spanish 1, I don't speak Spanish -_-'... I'm trying ^_^'...))
Nicholas glared at the girl outside but did nothing else. "She's trying to preserve civilized behavior and love for people... It's people like you who will ruin it." He mumbled the last part, he got away from the window and back deeper into the room. He grabbed Kalila's wrist and dragged her with him. Kalila looked back out the window and then to her brother, "Ah... There is no reason new members should mess with our original plans. Let's get ready to head out..." She said taking her wrist from Nicholas and going to her bag. She emptied it out, but still kept all the clothes, under garments, and other clothing stuff folded and organized. She kept the food on both sides of the clothes. She did her best to make sure her under garments stayed inbetween everything so it couldn't be seen. Nina had tried to spy a view at Mizuki's under garments, she was not going to let that happen to her stuff with anybodies eyes. Nicholas emptied his bag to, carelessly. He just dumped his bag out in a corner. "I'll be the one to carry the onion bombs..." Nicholas said stuffing the onions, now filled with spices, back into the orange mesh bag and then into his backpack. "Ok... Unless we clean that out we're not gonna put your clothes back in it..." Kalila told her little brother, zipping her bag shut. "I'll be back." She said quickly and went into the bathroom.
Nina stayed at the window and waited for their reply. Instead she recieved a question in Spanish. "Sí, me llamo Nina. Y tú eres...?" Nina replied and asked. She rotated her wrist with her hand straight out, in the universal motion of "and continue to fill in the blank." She didn't like to speak in too much Spanish when she was surrounded by non-Spanish speakers. It made her feel rude. "Um... Come on up." She said taking one more look at the two. "Your clothes are highly not appropriate for the situation at hand. You need to cover up!" Nina said with a frown. "You'll get some sort of their liquids in you system no sh*t if you don't..." She said with a narrowing of her eyes. She said the whole thing in a more "be careful" way than a hostile way, though her facial expression read the latter. Kalila already had parts of her thighs exposed and Nina was scared for her. She didn't want anyone more exposed than her.
Kalila looked at herself in the mirror. She didn't look like they were in the middle of an apocalyptic attack. The only thing out of the norm with her, visually, was that here long curly hair was in a quick ponytail, she had some of Mizuki's dried blood on the front part of her dress, and her sleeves were rolled and safety-pinned. Besides that she even still looked clean. Am I putting enough effort...? she thought, asking herself in the mirror. She shook her head and turned on the fosset. She soaped and washed her hands and splashed her face wet. She was so worried. She didn't let it show, but she was. She was freaking out for everyones well being. When it comes to it... Can I do it? she asked herself. Will I be quick enough mentally or physically? her face was dripping water into the sink. She quickly wiped her face on the face towel near her. She looked at herself one more time. Nothing was slowing her down anymore. She already fixed the problems she could, and she didn't plan to change. She needed to save her clothes for later. The only problem left was a small portion of her thighs and her poofy skirt-par tof her dress. But, that didn't matter... It was only a small problem. Since her sleeves were rolled up she now had her arms exposed. No that wasn't true. Her bracelets, wrist bands, and other accessories were covering a good portion of them. Never would a bite get to her arms unless they happen to get the little bit of exposed part. And if they did... I deserve to die... she thought with a mental laugh. She left the bathroom. Kalila looked her brother over. He was more covered than her in his clothes. "Nicho... Take care of yourself in the bathroom. Potty breaks are the last thing we have time for." She informed him and looked down at the katana on her waist. She thumbed it out of the hilt. Fast enough... Good. I'm set. she thought with a nod. Nicholas was in and out of the bathroom quickly. It seemed he had lazily dried his hands because he came out wiping his hands on the side of his shirt once. "We're pretty much set, right?" He said picking up his bag. For some reason the new girl really got to him, he really didn't like her attitude. Reminds me of myself.. he thought with a mental sneer.
It seemed the boy had chosen to come in. "Ah, we were just leaving." She mumbled shyly, pointing to herself, then her brother, and finally Mizuki. Nina still waited for the girl to come in. "We have weapons in you want one..." She said looking at the sad knife, comparing it to all the swords in the room down the hall in her head. Nina turned to him and smiled. "I'm Nina... as I just said. That's Kalila." She said pointing at the gothic lolita, Indian girl with the Katana. "That's Nicholas." She said pointing at the boy next to her. "They're siblings. He's younger out of the two." She pointed at the only other white person, he looked like he still had sleep in his eyes, and Nina smirked. "This is Garath. And that is Mizuki." She said pointing at the young Japanese man with a shotgun. "Welcome." She said with a dramatic bow.

Garath smiled at the new people but other then that stayed quiet. His head was still sore and he wasn't thinking completly straight. He tried to get up again but had to sit back down. He wanted to go on the expidition but he knew he'd be a liability. Atlest untill he recouvered completly. He felt his head and there was a small growing lump. Slipping and hitting yourself on the head in a zombie situation was like an instant death. Thank god for friends and allies. He refused to think of Mizuki as a friend yet. Mizuki was just too rude. Maybe later. He did a mental shrug. Through out their conversation he slowly sorted himself out. "Sorry I've been a bit out of it. I slipped and bashed my head. So excuse my manners. Though I think I'm going to stay here for the expidition. I know that I wouldn't be an asset right now." He shrugs apoligetically but that movement agrivated his head. He grimaced. "I'm going to go see if there's some ice." He got up still slightly disoriented. He was really hoping he didn't have a concussion.

"Oh no you don't." Nina ordered, pushing Garath gentally back down on the couch he was laying on. She crouched nect to him. "You hit your head. That's delicate stuff. How ironic that the medic is the one who's hurt?" She asked Garath teasingly. She picked up a cold water bottle that was on her desk and handed it to him. "Here." She said with a smile. "Take a few drinks and put it to your head. I'll go get ice..." She mumbled. She quickly stood up and ran out the door, down the stairs, and to the kitchen. She took a grocery plastic bag and filled with a little bit of ice and ran back upstairs. She breathed a little out of breath and laid the the tied bag of ice on Garath's head-wound. "Better?" She asked with a grin.

He looks kind of sheepish. "It is ironic. And to make matters worse it's my own stupidity. I didn't wipe off mizuki's blood well enough and I slipped on the ladder." He takes a large sip of the water. "Thank you." She was just as great a medic as he was. He accepted the ice greatfully when she returned. "Thanks again. I should be fine in a couple of minutes." Unless he has a concussion, he knows it's unlikly but he's not sure. Best find out. "One really strange request. Would you mind shining a light in my eyes and then seeing if one pupils bigger then the other. I just need to know." That's the only sure fire way he can remember about how to see if some one has a concussion.

Nina blinked in confusion. "Um... Ok." She said walking towards the window. She was still waiting for the other latin girl to come in after all. She peaked out the window to make sure very thing was ok and then she took a flishlight off her desk. She shone the light in his eyes. His pupils reacted in turn the way they were suppose to, they shrunk. When she switched it to only on of the eyes, theone with light shrunk more and the other eye grew. She swapped for the other eye, the eyes did the opposite of what they did last time. "Well..." She said with a shrug. "Your eyes seem fine to me. They're the same size and react accordingly to light..."

Crimson lowered her blade and put it away. Unlike the boy she just threatened, she sheathed it silently. She smiled at Nina, and answered,
"I'm Crimson." She glanced at the boy and said, "Sorry, but you never know who's infected an whatnot. I have to be sure."
She stepped forward, and climbed in. Looking around, she figured that this was a pretty good hideout.
"I have all the weapons I need." She patted her two sheaths and continued, "I usually don't need a lot of clothes, since they never get close."

He sighed with releif. "Thanks. I was worried I might have a concussion. Only way to tell is to shine a light into both eyes and see if they both shrink. But thats one large load off my mind." He sits up on the couch. He's still a bit dizzy but it's receading. "I'm starting to feel a lot better. But i know I'm not yet ready to go on the trip. But maybe we can make some more defenses and traps for the house. To keep the zombies out and hurt them at the same time."

Kalila and Nicholas sat in the corner of the room, near Mizuki and watched the new comers. Kalila's face had a welcoming smile on it, though she did flinch twice at Crimson's clothes. She was caught off guard twice. Nicholas on the other hand had an annoyed expression and his arms were crossed. He was leaning his head on his sisters shoulder, so the expression couldn't be read as clearly. Nicholas got bad vibes from Crimson. She seemed to be a loner, and he bet she would never stick her neck out for anyone. That might be a problem... The other guy, they didn't know his name yet, seemed to be a spur of the moment kind of guy, that could get people killed he thought bitterly. Kalila had a deep need of wanting to comfort her brother, but Mizuki told her not to.
"Ah... Never get close?" Nina asked with a cocked eyebrow. "That can't be... You fight with blades. That, on its own, is plenty close." She told Crimson. "You know, you don't need to get bitten... If any of the blood or silva gets into your body through..." She gave Crimson a look-over. "whatever way, you can and will get infect." She said with a nod. Nina turned her attention to Garath and gave him a bright smile. She felt the third closest to him since she met him before Mizuki. She went to the same school as Kalila, though that seemed so weird to look back at, and met her brother when they became friends enough to spend the night at each others' houses. "No... You don't have a concussion and I'm glad to be the bringer of good news." She said happily. "And that sounds like a great idea." She commented on his plan. "But, I'm not too afraid of the zombies at this point... I'm more afraid of the people that will try to take our stuff, you know?" She whispered for effect.

Garath smiled. "That too. Zombies are dumb and dangerous, but smart cruel survivors are worse. I think We should make defenses against both. Though traps against humans should be manually controlled so none of our group gets hurt." He starts thinking. "Well if we have a heater and a propane tank or something else that dislike heat We can make small fragmentation granade. Only draw back would be that it would take time to explode and would have to manually control it." He also thinks of a heavy log with nails above the ladder to be dropped on to unsuspecting climbers.
