Not a good picture, but since I finished sewing it all together today, I wanted something to show. It's not really lolita, but it matches the pinks and purples in my lolita clothing, so I'll definitely wear it with lolita.

Very lovely. Even if it's not outright Lolita, I can see it being coordinated beautifully into classical styles, so I look foward to seeing how you incorporate it. 3nodding

Yup, I was planning on classic/country style stuff with it. It's always good to have a warm jacket when wearing lolita in washington, because you never know when it will rain, or the sun will come out, and carrying around a giant coat is a huge hassle. I've done it, countless times.

Detail: 01 02 03Specs: Fully serged, half elasticized waist, all hand gathered, black velvet ribbon trim, interfacing in front half of waist band Shown over relatively lightweight petticoat that's more suited to classical lines. Will be making a better petticoat for this soon. Crappy, Fuzzy Shot of it being wornI've also begun work on an underbust JSK.

Ooh, very nice coodinate. The print reminds me of Jane Marple, which pleases me very much.
I really like the print you're using for your underbust JSK.
I should have some more things to put up here by the end of this week.

I saw your post on EGL, too, and I like what you've planning for the JSK. I'm excited to see the finished dress.

Okay so after a major failure in the making of my dream sweater I decided to make something.... Easier. And the product was a success... Well, I'll let you decide.

It is knitted lace... I just was way to lazy to block and pin it. If you pick at it a bit you can see the lacy quality . Also I was just experimenting so it isn't perfect.

Might as well post this here too. It has a corset that goes with it which is white and has the same sort of cris-crossed ribbon with a bow as is on the mid sleeve. I just need to get a zipper and lining on the corset and I'll probably take another picture of the full outfit, but as is, the dress is finished. The pattern was from Gosurori volume 8, only with mild alterations to the sleeves (because evidently I have huge long sausage arms as compared to the average Japanese girl) and bodice (for a more comfortable fit). The part that took me the longst was those god-forsaken frills on the skirt. The rest was pretty easy and fun. And I just thought this couch my mom recently got was PERFECT for photographing Loli^^
