XWraith_LordX -Resurrected Writer- Silent Manipulation Meh, I never liked the smell of burning flesh or rubber... Anyways I feel like repeating others so.. Why the hell would anyone be proud or ashamed? That's like being proud your white or American. You don't exactly choose those kind of things, it's just who you are.More like " what you like," if you ask me. ....which is part of your identity so it is "who you are" if you choose to see it that way. Sorry if I sounded confrontational. That could be said. However, I just don't see how a certain interest automatically means a certain personality.

I didn't mean that goth makes you have a certain personality, or that it's integrated into someones personality. I just meant it's stupid to be proud or ashamed. I probably should have clarified. Personally I don't see it as a mindset, a lifestyle maybe.

That would be like saying I'm proud of the sugar that goes into my cake. It would be different without it but not necessarily worse, I mean I could always get some sugar replacer or something. I do think it's somewhat imbedded (goth not sugar) and to comprehend being without it is difficult so I'm gonna say...I like it. 3nodding

I don't really openly come out and say I'm gothic,
but I do believe my style is based on it
and I'm prowd of that ^^

Most of the time, I don't live by labels...but I stand by labelling me as Goth. I'm not goth because of what I wear, I'm not goth because the the music I listen to, I'm not goth because of the people I associate with...I am goth because of those things though. If that makes sense. I'm self-aware of who I am, I am opinionated, I am curious, I consider myself educated (to a point), I am cultured. So therefore, and not limited to these properties, I consider myself goth.
