Narniakat I think one of the reasons Anita lets Richard get away with hurting her over & over is she feels so much guilt for not being able to handle him changing on top of her & running to JC instead. I think she lets him be mean to her in order to punish herself for hurting him. Maybe, but if that's true, I hope she's getting over the guilt trip and him.

I think she lets him be mean to her in order to punish herself for hurting him. Ooh I never thought about it from that angle. That's a very good point. Makes a lot of sense to me. It's almost like she takes on so much unnecessary responsibility to purposely [subconsciously maybe] keep herself from being happy. It also makes me think maybe Anita needs so many men in her life because it conveniently keeps her from commiting to anything close to the normal life she used to want. That and I think she's crying out desperately for love and acceptance. Why? Who knows, but I think it has to do with the fact that she feels her father didn't fully appreciate her mother and favored her step mother/sister over her. Then there's the first love who didn't fully accept her. Now she has so many who favor her she's developed some weird pokemon complex. Gotta catch em all.

If a wear changed right on top of you, so you could feel the joins and bones dislocate and reform and you got that goo stuff all over you and it was your FRIST time ever seeing a wear change...wouldn't you freak out too? I sure as hell would. If she was just standing by him and he changed and she freaked out, then she'd have every right to feel gulty. And with that kind of freak out you need to be with someone and Jean-Claude was the only other person she had at the time. She didn't have the Pard yet

Narniakat I just realized in another post I was making, how much I truly hate Ronnie. I really really hate her. I hate how she makes Anita feel bad for things she shouldn't feel bad about. And she had dumped Anita just because of the men in her life. She is still around, but not really a supportive friend. There are some developments surronding this situation in Incubus Dreams, but I don't want to give spoilers. Okay, I know late, but I'm just readin gthrough all of the posts so there will be alot of things that were mentioned in earlier pages brought back up. Ronnie annoys me soooo much. I mean, what kind of best friend does that just because she didn't choose the guy you liked? I mean, think about it from Anita's POV, her ex, who broke up with her, is being ans a**, and her bestfriend isn't supportive of her because of it stare That just pissed me off.

Narniakat I think one of the reasons I hate Micah is that he is exactly what Anita says she needs. I hate that he brings out all of her weaknesses. I don't want her to have weaknesses. And when she is around Micah she lets her weaknesses out. I want my Anita to be the kickass ballbusting no tears woman she use to be, not the needy breakdown woman Micah brings out. I don't hate Micah, but he gets on my nerves, to be honest, alot of people in the series get on my nerves. He's just way tooo perfect, I mea, random guy she sleeps with practically the frst time she met him and then bam like Narniakat said, she goes from a strong kick-a** woman to someone who's needy.

Phoenix_Blue ohhhh!!! And does anyone else find themselves disliking Tammy, for no other reason than she is annoying as hell! Damn, she gets on my nerves! yep, I have a strong dislike for her, and it hasn't gotten any weaker as I got to know her better.

Skyler Daratrazanoff tammy don't acre for....really hate Richard though and a few others.... favs are Asher, Jean-Cluade, Anita, Nathaniel, Edward, bernardo, Damien -tries naming a few others off she likes- XD lol, meh, Damien got on my nerves in Incubus Dreams, but I still like him. I still love Edward and Jean-Claude! lol. I wish that I could've heard more about Asher though....I like him, but he gets too emotional for me sometimes. I love Bernardo! lol, I wish that LKH would bring him back later on.

I'm reading "Circus of the Damned" now and I'm like "It'll change...he isn't this charming....you should've gone with Jean-Claude right at the beginning before fighting Marguarite!!!!" lol...man...I'm reading the books and I feel like counting how many times Jean-Cluade offers himself to Anita before The Killing Dance. (I also feel like counting how many times Jean-Claude calls Anita Anita before she lets him consistently call her 'ma petite')
