I was bored and looked at Ron Bruise's profile, and here is a little gem I found: On 12/19/2006, Oober7905 Honestly, it's pathetic how you are a 36 year old man who has a wife and possibly kids. Yet, you play this game called "Gaia Online". It's freaky and just plain wierd to be quite frank with you. Do not take this personally but stop playing and go to your wife live you life and stop playing this childish game. Let the 10 years old play and the 36 year olds live and work. KK Its stuff like this that I'm glad this guild exists, and for 21+ fishing!

Some of these children are just too smart or so they think they are. I had one 13 yr old ask me if I wanted to be is Gaia girlfriend, even after I had told him I was way toooo old. I finally told him I was 50 years old and he says "I like older women". I was shocked and cracking up both at the same time.

And thus the reason why I only go in to the town for quick gold and trash and stuff any more, the kids there not only annoy me to extremes, but shock the hell out of me at the same time. It baffles me some of the things they say and do.

I don't understand why so many kids nowadays believe that adults shouldn't be allowed to ever have any hobbies or fun or play any games!

What makes me laugh about that is the fact that Ron Bruise is **-fictional-** He's just a funny spoof on everyone's favorite Scientologist Tom Cruise. I mean come on, leaving snide comments to a fictional character?! Heck, if I left snide comments to all the fictional characters I don't like, it'd take forever. I can see it now, "Dear Willy Loman, I did not sympathize with you in Death of a Salesman..."

The things that come from these children's little filthy fingers amazes me. I'm only about maybe 5-8 years older than some of them. So apparently I'm an old fart. I've been called "older lame person" on Gaia by these kiddos so many times...ugh! They act like they own the entire site, and it's literally against the law for anyone over the age of 17 to be here. Then of course there's the line of "empowered" phrases that are supposed to make me feel bad, I guess.

I mean, literally...I was playing slots and this little 16 year old boy screamed out in a silence chat that "P3 is a n**er!" (He spelled it wrong too, by the way.) I just rolled my eyes, reported him, and continued to play. It wasn't even worth me getting pissed off over. He made himself look like a total fool. Obviously no one cared if I was Black or Green. Ahhh...but he had to be a little baby and point out I was different! It makes me question these so-called "mature teens" I've heard so much about on Gaia. The bad apples just seem to outshine them.
What also bothers me is the lack of remorse that some of them show in general conversations. Like, their opinion is law and heaven forbid some "old fart" like myself come in with a new opinion. confused I swear, every time I have made a concrete opinion, I get "shut up u b***h". (Again with the words that I guess are supposed to insult me.. rolleyes )
Ah well. It doesn't destroy my time here. There's always the option to leave, but I'd rather not. wink

So I was happily fishing in the 21+ room last night and all was well untill this one girl kept annoying me asking my age...I told her and she gets all happy...
Finally someone else int he room informs me that the the girl is happy because she was the youngest.
I just shake my head and go back to my fishing.
Her: Uncle!!!! Do you love me?
everyone else in the room: what?
Her: Uncle Aura!!!!
Me: No, and I am not your uncle.
Now I dont' have many pet peeves but the biggest one I have besides hanging up the phone with out saying bye is spelling "a lot" "alot". That and typing like this: HI! how r u? dats kewl
so I lost my temper...granted I had a pretty crappy day at work and I didn't have a very good control on my temper in the first place. Right before I placed the person on ignore I told them "I'll give you all my love just as soon as you learn how to use propper spelling and grammer."
Now some one please tell me what the hell are the odds of meeting the same person the ever next day??? in a differnt place?
And it was again with the Uncle Aura crap...

Are you a guy irl? I assumed maybe your gender was the same as your ava... in which case the Uncle bit is totally... wrong.
Still, kids calling us Aunt and Uncle just cause we're older O_o oh goodness no.
