Gosh, what a difficult question! I don't enjoy BL purely for the sex. In fact, it doesn't affect me at all. It's just... there. I don't like sugary sweet shounen-ai either, though.
I enjoy mature romances between men. Men, not boys. Men, not blushing fifteen year-old ukes. domokun It just so happens that you only usually find that sort of thing in the series that learn more towards yaoi.

I ain't even gonna try to lie. I prefer hardcore yaoi. Sure I like fluff and all that cute Shounen Ai stuff too but if it came to a choice between the two I have to go for the hardcore yaoi.

Yaoi and some shonen ai. but if that isn't hardcore, I just remember rule 34 and find what I am looking for...
Only like some shonen ai like Gravitation....though maki makes a hardcore version for those who want more...
