It was dark, as usual. Zhin lay on his small cot at the back of the cell, staring blankly at the ceiling. It had only been a short while since he'd been brought to his cell, yet he had already gotten used to the fact that'd he'd most likely be staying there for quite a while.
Shifting slightly, he sighed, his pale white skin seeming to glow in the darkness. The pupils of his eyes, though round at the moment, were like a cats in the light, though he rarely did so. He liked the dark, and the sun irritated him more than anything else. Being what he was, it wasn't hard to imagine that light would hurt him, but the symptoms were getting worse.
It had only been a year since he had been bitten, yet already he was completely taken. He developed a distaste for food, prefering to drink more often than eat. His own blood tasted bland to him, but othes...Well, that was an entirely different story.
Running a hand across his tired face, Zhin sighed once more. Not knowing if it were night or day was troublesom, but it didn't matter much to him. He rarely slept anyway, prefering to spend time alone, thinking. Closing his eyes, he finally let himself drift off into a calm state, not exactly sleep, but something like it, passing the time until they came.

((hey hawke, i didn't know you were here, call it coincedence.))
Idly, while staying completly still, Alex started to try and use his psychokinesis. He was able to move it around on the floor, but could not lift it up more than twelve inches from the ground, before having to let it drop. Damn this ribbon, I can't have any fun whatsoever. Alex thought, going back to doing nothing at all. I really hope that there is a mistress who will get me the hell out of here, and take these annoying ribbons off of me. Alex opened his eyes and looked outside of his cell, trying to read people's minds, even though he knew that he could only sense emotions right now because of the ribbon. Looking at one man he sensed that he felt lonely and empty, and looking at the twins, he sensed mischeviousness, as well as an interest, probably for the slave that was before them. Stopping his telekinesis, Alex closed his eyes again. If I have to stay here much longer, I'll snap.

Zhin's eyes snapped open as he felt the presence in his mind. He was very, very protective of his mind, and he hated anyone knowing what he was thinking or feeling. In a flare of anger, he sent out his own form of telekinetic engery. It wasn't anything harmful in reality, but it was the perception of harm.
Targetting the mans mind without looking, he sent a wave of overwhelming fear into his mind, fear of anything and everything he could be afraid of. Zhin could feel the man's fear of isolation, fear of having nothing to occupy him. He pressed it upon him, shutting his mind in complete desolation. It wasn't a harmful power, so it wasn't supressed by his ribbon. He only meant it as a warning.

Alex suddenly felt another form of energy invading him, causing him to have the perception that it was harmful to him. He immediately put up a telekinetic barrier, preventing any more attacks like that. Well now, it seems as though there is another telekinetic here. Alex grinned. He stopped holding up the small preventative barrier and attempted to pinpoint where the other telekinetic was. Eyes flashing open, Alex said, "Gotcha." under his breath. Now for a message. I can only hope that he receives it. Alex thought. He immediately started trying to use telepathy to send a message to the other Telekinetic. 'So, another telekinetic? Interesting.' Alex said through the message, knowing that only parts, or not even anything would get through to the other telekinetic because of the limits on their power.

Zhin cut off the message before it was through completely. 'Stay out of people's minds, especially when one's mind is more advanced that your own.' With that, he shut off all connection with the man, closing his eyes again to try and regain his meditative state. Troublesome, these other slaves were.

More advanced than my own? Well now, I guess it is too bad I can't test that theory. Alex thought to himself. He lay back on the cot, closing his eyes once more. He was satisfied at the recent event happy to have been able to at least annoy someone for once, rather than just talking to himself. Thankfully, though, he has not yet answered himself.

(Hm, sorry for the lack of posting. End of the year activities at school are taking a lot of my time, as have other roleplays. I'll post as soon as I think of something useful for my character to do. xD)

(Heh. ^__^ I honestly would, but since I'm playing a master instead of a slave, being in a cell would be a bit.. Odd. x3 I would have had her take a mild interest in someone already, but I hadn't wanted to interrupt anyone's conversations- Tsk, silly, silly, Setphia.)
