While Jay and Jeon concerned themselves with the Acid Rain, Belamos was more focused on watching his attack drive into the upstart brat who attacked the village. The man with the odd accent, unfortunately, survived the attack...but it was his mention of the 'Queen' that concerned him. He had a pretty good idea of who he meant by that, and if Belamos was right it bodes ill for future conflicts. After shouting his final farewell the mechanical menace departed just as quickly as he had arrived. While Belamos was in no position to stop him, he placed the Scotsman's demise on his mental to-do list.
Once the threat of the puppeteer was cleared, Belamos refocused on the Rokubi. It was now the only opposition before him as the woman from earlier had vanished upwards, flying into the village and the male had seemingly vanished even quicker than she had. He cursed himself for letting both of them slip away. To attack his home was not an act that could be let go of that easily. It was once Toso arrived, however, and began communicating with the beast much as the Kages had told himself to do, the Belamos saw his opportunity. Turning to Jeon, he spoke out "Toso seems to be taking care of that just fine- I'm gonna track down that woman who flew into the village." Just as he wrapped up his intent, a large explosion could be heard, even felt from inside the walls of the Storm Village. Wide-eyed, Belamos stared into the interior just as the first lines of smoke began to clear the rooftops nearest him "I'll handle it" He yelled out as he began sprinting torwards the scene of this newest attack
Hailee followed Shion closely, noticing the village held a oddity, but thought nothing of it. Usually, this place was under control with no issues. She faced Shion whom spoke to her, explaining that they were parting ways for now. "Okay! I'll see ya around than. Thanks for the help though, very appreciative!" She spoke with a smile, nodding in turn to her suggestion to go to the kage's office and turn all of her work in. "Gotcha! I'm sure we'll probably bump into one another sometimes, but sure! I'll be on lookout for you when I'm in need of training." Hailee said, watching her leave. Turning seperate ways, she left to head to the Kage's office. __ Captain Kosei drew his white rapier in anticipation for battle. When he made his way to the central platform of the Floodgate he stopped. His intention was to jump into the fray to subdue the slug, but was stopped in his tracks when he noticed Toso trying to calm it down. "What's that squid fool doing? He better not get himself killed!" Kenshin thought with frustration as he lowered his sword for the time being, but still stood at the ready. Once Selina would have time to catch up he turned around. "Hold off for a second." His voice was one of command, but also of concern. He certainly did not want her to endanger herself unnecessarily.

Selina approached in tandem with Kenshin. She kept close to him as the two approached some sort of thick fog. If her powers were as strong as they were back when she was initially a ninja then she could use her power of empathy to detect what was transpiring. However, with the distance she stood to Kenshin and the dense fog, she had no such luck. "Understood Kenshin. Could you give me a hint as to what you can see?" She said softly, since for Kenshin's byakugan this fog must be child's play. She was nervous as she felt that she was waiting to be ambushed. Her hand slid into her sleeve as she pulled out one of her dancing fans. Not like it was much of a weapon, but at least she wouldn't be completely defenseless in case the two of them got attacked. She pulled out a second fan as well and held them open by her sides with her thumb locking the fans in place.
The immediate response to knowing that the Javelin pierced Ryutaru came in the form of Jay springing into action. Attempting to escape after removing it wasn't likely to bring much fruit quickly, and in that time, the powerful Zeus was on him, swinging the greatsword Magni full force. To say he had been cleaved would have been an understatement, and just as quick as he would have come into view for the slug, he would be out, skidding to a stop, using his greatsword to aid in that, and preparing in case he needed to weave a ninjutsu in defense of Toso. Man, seeing six rather large, swinging tails was certainly intimidating... even though he had 8. These were ******** slimey!
And either way it went, Jay and Jeon were still just patiently observing, high tensile, ready to act.

Out of a world of chaotic ink into one of chaotic smoke. Though, the former was largely her fault. Toso had not been exaggerating the power imagination had in his dimension, and Kagerou really shouldn't have taken the chance to experiment with it. Well, in the end, she was hardly affected by the creations she brewed, so it wasn't like her trip had been impeded.
Kagerou couldn't see what was happening, but she could hear what she needed. She had come a little in the middle of Toso's speech, and could guess at the contents she had missed. Being able to read the situation to this extent, Kagerou chose to hang back in the shadows behind the door to Toso's world. As a shinobi, to wait for the smoke to clear. As a friend, to stand by ready to keep Toso safe. As a performer, to give the main actor the limelight and finish his dramatic moment.
Saiken pulled back it's tails to find a door opening in front of her. A small man, small in the relative size of Saiken, came out of the door and bowed to her. What followed was something she never expected out of the shinobi gathered here. An apology, of all things. The bijuu looked down on the man with a more or less confused look on her face. Saiken however, continued to listen to what the man had to say. Of course a proposal to place her back into a seal was made. This isn't what Saiken wanted at all. She wouldn't even come near a village again if she could help it. However, a thought did occur to her. In the case that she didn't come to a village but, the village came to it. They could possibly overtake her and seal her anyways. The bijuu had seen it happen time and time again since they were created. Shinobi always used them as war devices. Forgetting that they were creatures on this land just like any other. Saiken looked over the blank template man. "I will allow myself to be sealed within you Toso. You and only you, under the agreement that you stop the group that sealed me within a child and placed a bomb on the same child. If it comes to a time that you begin to kill innocents then, I will fight against the seal harder than any of my siblings could fight. Be a man of your word, be the dignitary to bring peace to these people with my guidance. May we not know war together." Saiken would say. Awaiting the sealing process to begin at this point. "You may call me Saiken."
"Bloop. It is quite the pleasure to meet you...Saiken." He drew out the name as if he had been gifted with some ancient knowledge, this was a sister to what he deemed a god, the hachibi contained in the twins...he did not show it but he was rattled to his very depths. Undertaking Saiken was a rash decision but it was one of the only few options available. "For now, consider this a mere contract between the two of us. bloop. I'm sure you'll be pleased to hear in all my years in service as a Shinobi I have only ever taken the life of few indiviudals. Both deserving and criminal in nature, I've nary any intent for the two of us to bring about war and death rather...ah, well we can discuss things in private yes? Bloop. Until then." He had heard midway the shuffling of the mists and dark clouds that covered the scenery Kagerou had likely arrived due to the gate behind him shutting. That was essentially the signal as it would not have shut if there was someone inside without him.
All four of his tentacles at this moment would then manifest themselves, they began convulsing or in a sense making movements that were akin to what could have been interpreted as hand seals. A wind began to collect in his free hand, it would then begin to start vacuuming in the storm clouds that had been obscuring the local vision as Kenshin, the Twins, Kagerou and Selina would start to see the man more clearly now. It seemed very much as though he was about to release an attack but rather than look at Saiken he looked upwards with what seemed like a casual toss an upheaval of wind would jetstream upwards taking the rest of the fields clouds with it and creating a hole in the already natural formation of clouds above. It caused the ground to tremble somewhat. Lightening would discharge causing sparkles in the sky as small droplets of the condensed water above also dispersed. It was almost...as if to say, there was no longer any further need for combat without saying it. Perhaps it was also a reassurance for Saiken that she needn't worry about his body being too weak to handle her might.
One of his tentacles would then lean in over his shoulder, bulge and spit out a mass of grey ink. Like silly putty it was reshaped into a megaphone of sorts. His voice would then carry through the immediate area. "Bloop. No need for alarm or further violence. We have reached a peace amidst delegation and mutual understanding. Terms and conditions have been established minimizing further bloodshed." Toso would look to Saiken over his shoulder, "That is what we both want for the time being yes bloop." Saiken was reluctant to agree, forgiveness was earned not handed out, likely if there was a better option she would have taken. After all no living creature would be pleased being sealed inside something...a disgusting feeling washed over the squid. Neither of them wanted this in truth but it would be better him than one who may abuse her and truly use her as a weapon of war...like the others.
Performing another about-face he'd bow to Saiken once more. "Well bloop I suppose we should get this underway then bloop." Catching Kagerou in his peripheral vision sticking to the shadows Toso would direct the megaphone in her direction. "Ka-nee you may proceed when ready bloop." The brushes from Toso's case which had been circling behind him idle then shot outwards and began to draw essentially a conveyor of ink leading up to the ink platform he was standing on so that she would be able to join him in meeting Saiken face to face and her eventual sealing. There was something to be said for a man who was capable of talking down a demon. Toso himself just hoped the restaurant was still intact.
There he would stand as Saiken stared the duo down, and while he may not have been looking at Kagerou both entities emitted an aura of 'get it over with' that applied pressure on the sealer. It was clear from the psychological perspective neither were enjoying what was to come of the established parlay but both carried with them 'we do what must be done for our beliefs' in their gazes. With the Rokubi's bearing just a tad bit more of 'do not make me regret this decision'. It was here the sun would reflect of their pale skins, it was somewhat like looking in a mirror. Despite Kagerou's reservations. She too, had to do 'what must be done'. In that thought, there was a string of stray regarding the uzu shinobi...what compelled them to believe what they had to be done? Moreover, why would the earlier man have attacked only to regret it later? There were no definite details on who caused the explosion at the compound known to him yet, but what other force could it have been aside a foreign entity, and moreover why in such excess? The incarceration of Ferrah and Rinka unknown to him currently but would be added to his notes of questionable choices made once it was heard...currently with all that's happened..peace talks were likely the least in regards to approaches on any of the current higher powers minds.

How ironic. The flashy twins had a sealing ceremony draped in stately blacks and striking whites, yet here was Toso, monochromatic in temperament and vision, awaiting his seal amidst a sky of rainbows. The sparks of lightning shined radiantly on the hsplit condensation, and the minuscule water molecules split that illumination into a sea of floating colors, which shined all the more brightly after being preceded by curtains of muggy smoke.
It lifted a smile on Kagerou's face. Though, admittedly, that wasn't something difficult to do.
Taking her cues like the pro performer she was, Kagerou ascended the inky stairwell. Did she consider it unfortunate that Toso and the demon appeared with stoic faces that marred the scene? A little. Did it bother her? Well, she didn't show it.
A few pleasantries were said to Toso and the demon, friendly and amiable but nothing deep. A few hand seals, a sweep of arms, the ringing of bells, and the very water in the air curved into midair inscriptions with some suiton technique or another (ooc: at least, i'm kind of sure kagerou has a suiton tech?). With the water, naturally, the rainbow curved, creating a prismatic seal formation.
Just in case Toso wanted to say one last thing before the seal completed, perhaps an invitation or request for permission such as "by your leave" or some such, Kagerou paused and held the seal for a small moment. Her eyes watched Toso's body language. When she picked up that everything was ready to proceed, she activated the single layer seal. The liquid prism spiralled inwards to bind the two in the center, and then it was done. A seal to bind, but not one to confine or protect. After understanding what Toso desired, Kagerou hoped that this was the best.

__ After Selina asked her question, Kenshin watched as Kagerou sealed the Rokubi into Toso. When he offered himself as the living sacrifice for the tailed beast for the village's safety he nodded approvingly. Albeit, this was a begrudging acceptance that the strange man was actually capable of serving this village which was in contrast to Kenshin's expectations. When he looked at Selina he stared at her dancing fans. "The threat has been neutralized." He said with reassurance as he began to move toward the twins. He then turned around again and motioned for her to follow him. "Put those silly fans away." He ordered before making his way toward the Arashikages. "My Lord and Lady Arashikage, I have terrible news to report." Kenshin bowed after his greeting before continuing. "I detained the diplomats in the CORE Compound for safekeeping and a Whirlpool ninja destroyed the Compound and the Spire in a massive explosion while I manned the Floodgate." The police captain delivered the brief report with shame and sorrow in his voice that was uncharacteristic of him. He was deeply regretful that he did not stop this and mournful of the loss of so many of his officers.

Selina gave a soft grunt as Kenshin moved forward without giving her a chance to rebuttal. "They are weapons..." She said softly to herself with a pouting face. While she was never really good with archery and certainly never picked up any more serious weapon styles, Selina did know what she was doing with her fans. Well... somewhat. Nevertheless, the moment of pouting as brief as a blink as she returned to her duty and stood beside Kenshin. She did not speak while the superior gave the report, his voice still strained by the pain his soul endured. As Selina listened, she wondered why Uzushiogakure ninjas did all of this. What did the village hope to gain from attacking? Were they just like the UHV where they were down for any sacrifice to get their way? Her opinion of the village was brief, but after these incidents, it definitely dabbled in the negative zone.
As Toso stood before his new charge and they spoke to each other on equal footing, Jay stabbed the bloodied Greatsword into the ground, realizing the danger was cleared. Saiken... what a cool name for a cool looking demon, at least from his perspective. The Rashomons slid back down into the ground, no trace that they;d been there in the first place even existed. The damage was rather minimal, in actuality, which brought a calm over Jay's heart. Slowly but surely Saiken was sealed away, and Jay, once more, found himself slipping back into the mental world created through his own bond with the Hachibi.
"Yes?" He asked crossing his rather large arms over his own chest and eyeing down the Ushi-oni. Honestly, the Hachibi looked as introspective as something of his nature COULD look through expression, with both of his arms hanging by the side of his body and his head turned up. Jeon materialized beside her brother, looking upon the singular form of their captive beast. "He... he went willingly. He simply allowed himself to be sealed."
"I know. Crazy." Jay supplied, to which the beast snorted.
"Yes, but only because I knew Saiken was a little dumb, but he fell... for those lies. You all have no intention of doing anything but turning him and his power against your enemies. How is it possible that he honestly believed that garbage the Bloop-nin was spewing?"
Jeon was the one to answer him, not missing a beat. "Have you considered the possibility that we were genuine when we said we were remorseful to force this situation on you? That being proactive before you had a chance to, at your own behest, rampage and destroy the lives of innocents that we didn't actually look forward to it? We told you that we'd be your partners, not your captors, and you chose to retool that relationship not us."
"I cannot fathom a world where the Bijuu aren't always watching their backs, always a tool in another's war. Always... someones damn WEAPON!" He hung his head, and they could see it in his memories in the same way he could see theirs. Decades of abuse, of torture until he could bend the bars, weaken the seal and free himself violently. Few had earned the right to call him friend.
"Have we not been friendly? Accomodating?" Jay asked. Gyuki looked upon them, almost like he didn't want to do so.
"Yes."
"Is it not worth the partnership we could both benefit from?" Jeon followed up?
"As much as I want to say no... I think that in my heart of hearts I have to say yes. You love your people. You fight to end fighting, as a** backwards as that has been throughout the ages, and you are, at the very least, strong hosts. If it is to be so anyway, I think we may as well work together. But know this. The very moment you turn to oppression and evil, I will slam these bars closed again," the Gyuki barked as the gate finally opened, chains releasing his body in earnest. He held out two fists, rolling huge white eyes as the twins both leaped with excitement.
"Finally!' they roared slamming their fists into the huge ones before them, one for each.
When they came to only a second had passed, but Saiken was gone all the same. "Good job Kagerou, as always. And Toso. I am both thankful, and feel I owe you an apology for having to seal yet another demon. It seems we cannot escape some cycles. But... I think your words soothed Gyuki just as much as they did Saiken in the end." Jeon, congratulating them, became peripherally aware of Selina and Kenshin. Jay landed in a thud after leaping to his sibling, hefting his weapon over his shoulder and rising fully, towering over Selina in presence alone with added size and stature from the greatsword. "Ah, more bad news," he remarked, but he didn't seem extremely bothered until Kenshin continued on to tell him that the spire and core had been destroyed.
"Keep your head up Captain Kosei," Jay told him. "Those men will not have died in vain. Prepare services and alert their families after we ensure that the prisoners haven't escaped. I'm going deploying the Nightwitches against Uzu." There was a sparkle in his eye, like insight had been gained that wasn't there before. At the name itself, three kuinoichi appeared in a shunshin.
"Move on Uzushiogakure. You know your goals. Wreak absolute havoc. Destroy infrastructure, incapacitate enemy combatants as much as you can without killing them, unless that becomes a last resort. Send a ******** message," he growled. With a flick of his arm, he sent them on their way, and onwards they went.

__ Kenshin saluted the twins when they gave their orders for how to proceed. He was pleased that they were deploying operatives to Uzushiogakure. The plan for reconstruction and collecting any possibly escaped convicts was well advised too. "Also, this is Selina Rosewater, a veteran of Kumo's UHV war with us and a former KPD officer. She's volunteered to help me during this crisis." He spoke after the twins were done with the operatives to be sent to the Hidden Whirlpool. Kenshin introduced her in case the twins forgot her after the half-decade passage of time. The police captain waited for a moment before continuing. "We'll get to work on tracking any possibly escaped cons." With that, Kenshin bowed honorably and took his leave, gesturing for Selina to follow him.

Belamos entered into the gates, pleased to find things had calmed down. He arrived just as the trio of shinobi along with Kenshin and his officers disappeared- leaving just The Twins. Belamos approached the pair of Kage, stopping next to them and looking outwards towards the countryside "Tsuki is dead...but Aurelia and the Academy Students are safe" He let the news hang in the air between them for a few moments. The Twins, probably better than any Shinobi of the Storm, would know the pain Belamos felt from her loss. Losing a loved one like that...it was akin to losing a part of yourself. Still, Belamos persisted in his job "I've gotta errand to run...but when I get back we'll have to have a talk" Before the Twins would have a chance to object, Belamos would disappear in a flash of light.
Belamos sure could be one annoying ********. Really, after the village was attacked twice in rapid succession, he chose NOW to leave. He was walking himself right into a demotion, but for the moment duty called. The pair nodded to Selina, and went off to see to the hasty reconstruction of their compound and the Spire.
