But I read Armory has a pre-requisite of Resources 3....? How can I drop Resources and still pick up Armory? So in the end, how much points of Armory can I get with whatever I have left?
PostPosted: Sun Mar 22, 2015 7:35 pm
Okay, I've figured it out.

No points in Int. It stays at 1 dot.

4 dots into Armory = 20 points outright.

1 dot into Perfect Stillness = 22 points.

1 dot into Quick Draw = 24 points.

Done. It should look better now, and grant me a sniper rifle and a bit left for a sidearm..

Now gimme my rifle~~ xd

Okay! biggrin
How much do you care about Initiative? Because you are dropping 5-6 pts on your rifle and that leaves 14-15 to play with for your armory. And armor is nice.

I was thinking camo of some sort. Since he lived and died a soldier, more than likely he'll procure gear that he is comfortable in. He'll definitely have a semi-automatic pistol as his sidearm, more notably the H&K USP.45, but armory wise he might have kevlar and camo or some sort. Initiative is secondary here, since he would take up a sniper point and hide while picking off enemies.

Sniper Rifle - 6 armory pts Comes with 8 Bullets
Kevlar - 3 pts
Sidearm - 2 pts Comes with 15 Bullets

Leaving 8 pts left

You could get a Riot Shield to use with your side arm for 2 pts
And 6 clips of ammo (4 sniper, 2 pistol)

Alright, we'll go with that then. Do I get to designate what kind of sniper do I get? Because the Sniper' style has a slight difference in composure bonus between bolt action and semi-auto.

I may join, but questions... is the blood key the only way to combat ghosts? would firearms be a wise choice? and are you controlling the Giest or do we get that honor?

Sorry, I just saw your post. I'm letting you guys play your own geist, and its not ghost that you are worried about, but kereberoi. Firearms is a perfectly sound choice, as is any combination of keys and manifestations when it comes to dealing with them.

Bolt action - fires slower, fits sniper style better
Semi- Fires faster, Will make you better at combat overall

I'll take bolt action then. I have quick draw to pull out the pistol. So the model doesn't influence anything, right? So I'll have him use my choice of sniper rifle and still maintain the damage. Yay xD

If you wish to get any equipment with your resources, and I mean ANYTHING beyond clothing, you can use your resource dots to get a few things, but once they are depleted you have to roll for them. Some merits will add to it, give me a list of what you wants and I will go through it with each of you.

I'm setting him up as this:

Weaponary from armory:
Either the WKW Tor or L115A1 for Sniper Rifles
H&K USP.45 for semi-automatic pistol
Standard kevlar and a riot shield for defenses
4 sniper clips and 2 pistol clips

Gears intended to spend on using resources:
Binoculars (I doubt I should pull out the sniper just to see far)
Backpack (for my gears)
Durable flashlight and 3 changes of batteries for it (when navigating darkness)
Waterproof matches (just in case)
Compass (navigation must-have)
Chronometer watch (for time-keeping)
Bowie knife (for them nasties in melee, or a sneaky coup de grace)
A bundle of rope (utility)
Sleeping bag (for camping outdoors)
Camo netting, personal (to set up a sniper nest)

Would I be able to get all those things? Or is that a bit unnecessary?

Define Camping Gear more specifically.
