Sammy shook her head. "No, not at all. Good one." she laughed quietly, casting the pleasant images it conjured out of mind. "Of course I'll help. If you like, we can order one of those sample platters and see what kinds of things you enjoy. Or if you tell me what kind of meat you like, we could go from there too."OOC: ~

Radiant Anon Solsi Sammy shook her head. "No, not at all. Good one." she laughed quietly, casting the pleasant images it conjured out of mind. "Of course I'll help. Musing aloud in a soft voice, his eyes closed a moment then opened as she spoke again.
"I think that sounds perfect. I am really not too terribly picky, and I think I am safe in your capable hands."
Here he bowed his head to her then looked up again.
"Shall we then?"
Stepping away from where he had been leaning, he turned just a little to head for the door.

Sammy nodded, following him to the door. "All right. Luckily it's not too far. A block and a half? Not much more than that, if any." In the back of her mind she reflected on what she thought she heard, and what she thought what she heard might mean. Was he referring to...? The restaurant, probably the restaurant. she concluded mentally to herself, focusing back on the task at hand and commanding her cheeks to be cool for once.OOC: ~

Radiant Anon Solsi Sammy nodded, following him to the door. "All right. Luckily it's not too far. A block and a half? Not much more than that, if any." Reaching the door, he opened it and stood aside so she could go through first. As he waited, a grin tugged at his lips.

Radiant Anon Solsi Sammy stepped through the door and paused about halfway. Looking back at him, she smiled and winked. "Do they ever." she assured coyly, building up the suspense a little. She walked out and waited for him to lock up or anything else he had to do.OOC: ~ Tobias was closing and locking the door after them and when he turned around his eyes seemed to shine.
"I shall want for nothing in tea then."
Grinning, he looks down at her.
"So Sammy my dear, shall we head there? I am most interested to see what your suggestion has in store for us."

Sammy smirked, holding her chin and tapping her cheek with a finger, considering something. "Care to make it more interesting...?" The next thing he knew Sammy had Tobias blindfolded and was leading him through the streets by his hands. "Since it's your first time, we'll make it like a surprise. First experiences should be special after all. No peeking now." The sounds of the traffic might have been a little less than comforting, but her voice had no concern in it. After a while of light conversation and traversing the sidewalk, they appeared to have arrived. "Okay, careful now, there's a step here. One, two, up!" She helped him up through the door and they were met with a cloud of warm air to shake the remnants of the frigid breeze from their systems. There was light chatter in the distance, some of which in other languages. "Two please, for here." She told the staff. Keeping both his hands in hers she walked backwards to their booth and helped him sit down. "Ready? One, two...tah-dah!" She pulled the cloth off with a flourish and sat across from him. Taking the fabric napkin off the table, she unfolded it and placed it on her lap. The lighting was dim and intimate while the walls were decorated with red and gold dragons.OOC: ~

There was a trace of a smile on his face as he followed, stepping where she directed. When at last they entered the place, his head tilted some as if to try to listen better. A grin showed on his face as she helped him to sit, and he blinked as his vision was restored.
"Helping me to my seat, such kind manners. I highly approve of the lighting in here, and the colors."
Ruby eyes took in the room, appreciating the decor. It wasn't long before his gaze settled on her.
"Tell me Sammy my dear, is this how you bring all your acquaintances to a new place? Or is this perhaps something special just for me?"
Trying to look innocent as he spoke, he wasn't pulling it off so well as he teased. Placing his napkin across his lap, he wondered what tea he would get to enjoy here.

Sammy smiled and shrugged playfully. "Just something I thought of on the fly." She flipped her menu open and gave it a scan to get herself familiar with where everything was. "The beverages are listed on the back at the bottom. I don't know why they put it there when they always ask for the drink order first, but there ya go." She laughed a little. "Personally I think oolong sounds good today..." Her head moved back and forth a little, looking over her options again.OOC: Don't ask why she carries around a blindfold. To that there is no answer.

"I see. It certainly made the trip interesting."
Flipping his menu over, he gave a nod as he found the drinks. Ruby eyes scanned the list and a smile came to his lips as he found what he was looking for.
"Does it? I believe I would like a cup of jasmine tea. However, much past that I am less sure of."
His brow had raised as he read through what they had to offer. Little of it made sense except some of the explanations of what each dish contained. Lifting his gaze to look at her, he set the menu down.
"Do you have a favored dish or two here?"
((I kind of did want to ask, but thought perhaps not. Now I'd rather like an absurd explanation. ))

Tobias nodded looking at each thing she pointed out. After a moment, he shook his head.
"They do sound like good things to try, but was there not talk of getting a sampler? It is alright if you would prefer to get something just for you. If that is the case, then I shall try sweet and sour pork."
((Heh, I see. So someone wants him in a blindfold. But which one is not being honest with them self? ))

Looks like it comes with a couple egg rolls, crab rangoon, szechuan vegetables, lo mein, rice, and up to two entrees." It was kind of a challenge to read it upside-down, but she was able to get the gist of it. She looked up at him when she was done and smiled. "Wanna go for it? Your call."OOC: Psh, she wouldn't do anything if it weren't for me.
"Aha! So you admit it! It was your idea."
But you enjoyed it.

"It sounds good, yet I believe the call is yours. If you are still treating, then I believe it would only be right to go with what you want to pick. It might not be often, but I can follow or be led at times."
His grin grew some at that, his brow pointedly raised at her and what she had done to get him here.
((I see, Sammy likes being in control. The things one learns about a character. Heh, very interesting. ))

Sammy leaned back and sat down in her seat again, adjusting her napkin on her lap. "Sample platter it is." she obliged happily. Flagging down a waitress she pointed to what they wanted on the menu. "Hi there, we'd like to share this please, and some hot oolong tea to drink." She glanced back at Tobias. "You wanted jasmine, right?"OOC: "I...I mean...I'm not like a control freak or anything...I can be flexible..."
...So you'd prefer he put you in a blindfold?
