Upon hearing the commotion as well, the mechanic followed the florist with haste. He knelt down beside her, hesitant to place a hand on her shoulder. "...She w-will heal..." he mumbled the first thing that came to mind. Which he mentally kicked himself for sounding idiotic. He felt terrible for keeping her away from her plants, thinking that if he had not stopped by she would have been able to shoo away the vandel before he had done his work.

Something's Happening Mind Is Dripping, Agony Inside Of Me. My Pulse Is Racing Mental Torture, Self Destroyer. Can't Ignore the Paranoia. Denying. The rising Levi wiped the remainder of the blood from her lip, the split crusting over, not saying a word about it. “The snakes will handle that. “ she mumbled, handing Nes the Helmet, her fingers tapping the sides before she swung a leg over the bike, revving the engine. Her hands began to twitch and click to her own thoughts, becoming irritable.
And her patterns began. Her head bobbing to unheard music, fingers twitching, rubbing her hands together, “ 1,2,3 snake. 1,2,3 snake.” She mumbled, waiting for Nes to get on, “tic, tic toc. Tic. Tic toc.” Her head nodding and shaking. “Eat healthier, eat chili cheese fries. Maybe salads. Maybe. No…” she mumbled, “The snakes don’t like salad.” She whispered, letting go of the throttle and getting off and began to walk.
Levi walked down the street, rubbing her hands together, than flexing her fingers with straight arms on the side. “1,2,3 and there’s no 4.” She mumbled, “Tic toc snakes inside and they lie.” She grumbled, turning a corner, having no actual destination. “no no no no no.” she grumbled turning around and heading to another block, her hand tapping her thigh and she kept mumbling, eyes on the pavement. “ no. No. NO NO!” she shouted, “WE WONT DO IT!” she yelled, hugging herself as she started running, “NO NO NO!”
The crying. I'm dying. They lied to me They shot at me They hate on me They're dead to me And now they're all my enemy

‘cause I have other things to fill my time You take what is yours and I’ll take mine Now let me at the truth Which will refresh my broken mind And Ill find strength in pain Mistee looked at the man and gave a weak smile. She looked to Ramonia, ‘Yes…she will heal. But she needs tender hand, I think…’ she looked to him again, smiling a bit more. She stood, carefully picking up the potted plant, gesturing with her head for him to follow her back into the shop. Mistee cradled the plant like a hurt child, placing her on the counter, lifting the door over and stepping behind it, holding up her hand to the man.
She walked to the back room, grabbing ribbon, plant feed, a small watering can and a spray bottle. Mistee returned to the front, smiling at the man, placing the objects before them. She wrapped the ribbon around the pot, making a lovely bow. She placed the watering can, feed and spray bottle in front of the man, smiling more. She took out a small greeting card and scribbled on it, pushing it over to the man. It read: ‘She will heal, yes. But she’ll need someone who cares. And, plants have healing qualities. You can help each other.’
Looking up from the card could be seen a smiling Girl, hands holding her chin as she leaned on the counter, completely content with her thought . She pointed to herself and clearly said, “Mistee!” then pointed to him for introductions.
I’ll know my name as it’s called again So tie me to a post and block my ears I can see widows and orphans through my tears I know my call despite my faults And despite my growing fears

Nes had watched in concern as Levi started her pattern, walking after her when she had gotten off the bike. She mumbles a curse under her breath when the woman starts running, bolting after her with poor Spice clinging to her shoulders for dear life. She hated it when this happens, she was never sure what to do and what would calm Levi down, all she could do was follow her and try to keep her from getting hurt. Someone bumps into her, sending her stumbling and almost falling to the ground before she catches herself. She snarls a curse at the unfortunate bumper and keeps running after Levi, barely keeping up with the taller female.

Lacy looked inside the hotel and saw the blushing young woman speaking to Maurice and motioning to the cafe. "Aw, hell" she muttered to Blackbeard, "this might take a minute." She thought half a minute about just leaving, but decided against it. After all, she thought to herself, what if this guy becomes uber-famous one day? It'll make for a cool story.
Instead, she turned off her cab, got out (after giving Blackbeard another cricket), and lit a cigarette. Inhaling deeply, she could feel her whole body relaxing, all the way to her toes. She looked across the street at the park with the children playing, the speed-walkers and their ridiculous get-ups. A light color caught her eye up in a tree. Apparently some little blonde kid was up there, reading a book. Well....maybe not quite a kid....it was hard to tell from here. "Weird," she mumbled to herself.

Aaron... I-I'm Aaron..." He was once again, kicking himself for saying the wrong thing. The man lowered his salute.

She stood straight, a respectful salute, “T-T….” her face turned in frustration. ‘Just say it. One word at a time…just do it…come on…one person…just one…don’t be scared. ‘ She took in a calming breathe, “Thank…you….for your service.” It came out in the shyest of whispers, but her face lit up like a candle, her shoulders shrugging up in content, eyes sparkling.
“Mm!” she pushed the plant to him, smiling more, “Take. Thank you. This.” She kept going! “Take this as a thank you for visiting!” her mouth was almost open wide in her utter thrill ride of a conversation, Mistee’s hips moving from side to side as she kept going, “it help’s. Talking to plants, I mean.” She felt walls shattering with this person, and her mouth just wouldn’t stop smiling. “A-And, will you come visit again?”

((*writer gasps in horror* No. No Mistee NO NONONO I WILL NOT SHIP THIS!!))I’ll know my name as it’s called again So tie me to a post and block my ears I can see widows and orphans through my tears I know my call despite my faults And despite my growing fears

His eyes softened, glad to be able to see the girl smile & speak in front of him. He knew it was hard sometimes to speak in front of people. "I-I will t-take g-good care of her..." he said with a small smile, grabbing the pot & lifting it in his arms. Aaron had a hunch he would get some talk at work for coming back with a plant. Then it hit him, he had to be back a work in about fifteen minutes. His eyes widened at the sudden realization. "Th-Thank you again Ma'am, b-but I-I have to get back t-t-t-to work! I-I'll be back!" he said hurriedly running out of the store.

Just after Maurice asked about the tag, some strange older man had approached him, decked all in black and in a trench-coat, like some stereotype he never knew actually existed outside of Noir movies. Usually Maurice liked attention, but not from someone like this, this was just weird. "Uh, no I'm just..." Then the lady from before walked out into the lobby, Eliana? That's what the name tag read, anyways. He smiled as she thanked him, fairly oblivious to the waitress' shy demeanor and the strange motions of the receptionist. "No problem, really." He was just glad she hadn't gotten in trouble over all this. She offered to treat him to a drink and... uh oh. He likes drinking, he likes drinking a bit too much, actually. Maurice looked over at the cabby who had gotten out of her taxi to smoke while she waited, and he knew he only had fifteen minutes to get back to the gym or else he was in for the workout of his life... "I, I shouldn't. I'm just on break..." He rubbed the back of his head awkwardly, "Thank you for the offer, though." Oh well, free beer another time. The boxer stuck out a large boney hand to Gypsy for a handshake. "I'm Maurice, by the way. Let's hope our second meeting doesn't involve the lost and found again," he smirked. (Minty that is so cute, and hilarious. xD)

Listening to him she nodded then shook her head. Wow, that had to look confusing, geez she'd never stop blushing at this rate. "O-oh, it's okay. I-I understand. The offer will stand though." Tearing out a page from the little notepad, she quickly wrote down a reminder for him. The top of the page had a logo for the hotel and below she wrote. One free drink~ She handed it to him after signing Gypsy at the bottom. "There you go. I'll be here till ten and the same time tomorrow. After that I'll have to check. I-I'll have to be here to pay for the drink, otherwise I'd say come whenever. And um, while Eliana is my name, I prefer to go by Gypsy." Putting her hand to his for the hand shake, she smiled. "Nice to meet you, Maurice." Her blush had just started to fade when a loud whistle made her nearly jump and look back at the cafe. The bartender was trying to motion her back. So much for the blush fading. Turning back to Maurice, she bowed her head politely. "Thank you again, I have to get back to work." With that she turned and hurried back, getting to the customer the bartender was gesturing toward.

"Notes rhythm and rhyme..." As she sat there, staring above, she could have sworn there was a girl in the treetops. Was she dreaming, perhaps? She often found herself seeing or hearing things that could not be, or were just plain unlikely. "What a strange bird..." She said to herself, trying to ignore the fact that it didn't look much like a bird at all. Poesi opened up her planner and wrote a little note to herself. Are Wendy-birds real? Oh, how lost I feel...
Then she heard a woman's voice and turned her head, to be met by the sight of a blonde lady. It took her a moment to realise that she was the one addressed, as the other kept looking at her. "Uh... I-I don't think I..." But wait. It sounded so familiar... Poesi looked up at the tree again, and the not-really-a-bird girl was still there. But could she really be? Was she real, after all? She did fit the description quite perfectly... "You mean like her?" She said, keeping her eyes at the tree, just to make sure that the girl would not suddenly vanish. Raidan smiled at the two. Apparently Maurice had found something of the lady's and returned it. Nothing dangerous here. He thought, deciding to move on his way. He stepped outside through the doors, a flowing breeze greeting him as he walked. The city was as busy as it always was, and nothing looked out of place. He knew the way to the Gym he frequented, but he saw a cab parked just outside the building. He raised an eyebrow at the coincidence, then walked over to the woman standing beside it. " Is this cab taken?" He inquired as he watched her smoke her cigarette.

The mechanic was in a hurry now to make it back to work on time. He sprinted past places, heading for the subway, & looking ridiculous running with a small potted plant. He grumbled to himself nearly running into a trench coated man & a taxi driver. Only catching a glance of blue hair inside of a hotel, but he did not thing much of it. "Sorry!" he yelled as he ran past.

Maurice took the little handwritten I.O.U. from Gypsy and smiled, letting her get back to her work; he needed to get going too but he'd definitely have to come back and enjoy himself. The waitress was more than adorable too... Gypsy, though? Strange nickname, but then again, the guys at the gym called him Monster so who was he to judge? He stepped outside just as the tall man from before rounded a corner, so he didn't notice him, but he did see mister tall dark and weird trying to take his cab. "Yeah, cab's taken, I was stopping by before heading to the gym." He then turned to Lacy, "Thanks for waiting, ma'am, I'll pay you extra for the trouble."

Raidan nodded toward the man who bumped into him. New York was a busy city, bumps like that weren't uncommon. He heard Maurice's response and grew slightly curious. " Emerald Gym? I'm on my way there myself." He asked the man. Raidan wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth. If they were going to the same place, it would be beneficial to use the same cab. Raidan would pay his share, of course. He wasn't one to skimp a good cabbie, and the woman looked like she'd been in the business a while.
