He reached into his pocket and pulled out a little card with digital symbols on it and the letters "SMT DS: SH" on it. " The world I reside on most, Elysion, uses portals to connect to various worlds. Some of these portals require special Keys in order to access them. This is one such Portal Key, and with it I can head to a place called Amami City and experience the story and battles within." He placed the Key back in his pocket. " It's one of the few ways I can travel to new worlds." *Kudos to you if you can guess the game I'm talking about cat_biggrin *

" You mean Blood? Yeah...Being a Vampire, I have to drink it in order to survive. I don't have to kill the person to do so, nor does it have to come from a sentient being, but I still need it every few months, or after I've used up a lot of energy." Xashowd explained. " Buuuut I've found that Watermelon is a perfect substitute for it. At least in my case, no other Vampire I've met could live on Watermelon. A doctor I met here thinks it might be the sugar content, but I think it has more to do with how much of it I ate as a kid...which is to say, a lot." Xashowd grinned. He really loved Watermelon.

Xashowd was dumbstruck. Volt hadn't heard of Watermelon? How was it possible that anyone had not heard of the sweet, round, juicy, and utterly delicious fruit? In Xashowd's opinion it should not be possible, but here Volt was living proof someone hadn't heard of it. " It is bar none, in my opinion, the greatest food in all the world. It's a fruit that grows from the ground, some of them becoming this big." He explained, stretching out his arms for emphasis. " The outside is striped with green and dark green and isn't edible, but the inside is red, sweet, and extremely juicy. It tends to be more common in the summer, but it's worth eating year-round." Xashowd's smile was wide as he finished explaining. " Next time I get the chance I'll bring you some to try. Sound good?"

Volt wrinkled a nose as he spoke, concentrating and trying to imagine it for herself. A green fruit that's red on the inside? What would they think of next? He certainly seemed excited about it...it made Volt wonder what she'd been missing out on all these years...especially if he could eat it for every meal and never get bored. When he finished describing it Volt smiled, one arm wrapped around her knees and the other giving a thumbs-up. "You better!"

In a way, Xashowd's Keys are like our Discs and Cartirdges. And no problem. The Avi looks awesome, by the way.* " Yeah, it can be complicated, but when your home is literally a world of your own dreams, it helps keep things orderly." Xashowd looked up at her. " What exactly is 'your way'?" (I didn't like them that much actually. Got bored too easily with the actual game play, though the idea is interesting.
And thanks, working on a look for when she goes complete psycho. Feel like she needs a belt though...)
"Ever heard of a game called Portal? Or does that not exist here either..? I can never keep track..." She frowns in though.
