Kalena smiled
"What do you remember....before you appeared here...anything...or....were you just here all of a sudden."Eric looked at his wounds and he sighed taking off his jacket, he growled and took off his shirt and put his jacket back on, a rose dagger in his pant pocket was seen.

Yumi watched her brother and waited until she was calm before answering. I don't know....what happened...one minute I am drifting in darkness. No memories of anything,even my own name. The next thing I know I'm...watching this world become destroyed.....mama was there.....and she was crying....just before she was killed....I saw jaster come and save her.....it played over and over again....I couldn't make it stop...I fought the darkness. I fought until I was just...here....staring at that lady.....she was mama but....she wasn't at the same time...." she stopped talking long enough to look in her grandmothers eyes, asking a question she was too terrified to ask out loud,'am I even me anymore?' She quickly looked away. Her hand tightened even more around her keyblade.

Kalena gave a heavy sigh
"you are yourself, unchanged by time, but it seemed you and Eric has had the same experiances....he came here a few months ago....when...." it was hard for her to say it
"I came out of nowhere, I fell in Jaster's arms when he was going to save mom and Jasmine...but....the assasins got to them before he could.....they were turned into gems....Kalena has them.....the 2 girls...that room we were just in....that is mom and Jasmine...but....they arent at the same time."
"an angel was looking after them, it is Roza and Jasmine, their true memories are deep inside, locked within. Their names are Ruka and Moriko. Ive asked Eric to stay away.....I hate to say this but I need you to stay away from them as well, Yumi....its too much of a risk right now...for them to remember.."

Yumi nodded. "I agree but...what do I do.....without mom?"" She asked quietly. Even after all she had been through she couldn't imagine life without her mom. 'Guess its time to start figuring it out.' She told herself bravely.

Eric sighed
"well, you have me, Yumi. Its hard...without mom and dad....I saw dad earlier this year...but I havent seen him since....but at least we do have eachother....and Kalena and everyone else.." he tried to smile but they could see the hurt on his face.

Yumi looked up at eric with wide eyes,shocked that he was willing to care for her. From what she remembered,she wasn't the most pleasant child to deal with and she was sure things hadn't changed much between them. She felt a sense of regret when she realized she had only been more of an aggravation to her brother than anything else.
"I don't want to be a burden on you.......you don't deserve that." She told him sincerly.

Eric looked sad, a few tears came down his face.
"I want you to stay...because your my sister....the only close family I have left....other than Kalena....and.....I just feel so cold....please...stay."

Yumi waited a moment than nodded."for you,my one and only big brother." She told him. She felt like for the first time they were acting like a family. She walked over and hugged him,gently wiping away his tears in the process.

Eric hugged Yumi gently, he was crying on her shoulder. He used to never cry.
"thankyou Yumi...thankyou."
By just how he hugged her, it was evident that he was very happy that she was staying,
Kalena smiled
"mabye now he will stop getting in so much displinary trouble..." she giggled

Yumi smiled when she heard the song,vaguely remembering when roza would sing it to her and Eric.

Eric yawned, the song was making him sleepy.
He rubbed his eyes.
