Cloud Strife
I gave a soft smile as the two exited and hopped across the floating boulders in the lake.
"Merlin, you let your magic run out on those things already? I've only been gone a couple years..." I would say right after the children left, with a bit of a laugh in it.
"Ah, yes, well you see I can't always keep track of *everything* in my old age hahah ^ ^" Merlin replied with a bit of an embarrassed laugh, before stepping outside shortly to re-cast his strong, lasting version of the spell upon the rocks to keep them floating. he looked around a bit cautiously before re-entering and making sure the drapes were well closed.
"So, you came to ask me about something serious, didn't you Cloud?" Merlin's light playful attitude dropped hard, and his eyes narrowed to show extreme signs of seriousness.
Crossing my arms and leaning back against the wall next to my sword, I begin to explain to Merlin my reason for coming here.
"I walked into Radiant Garden after one heck of a hiatus, and the first thing I see is a young neko keyblade wielder being thrown into a portal by a mysterious man with powers over the Nobodies..." I paused, thinking to something for a moment. "I thought our young hero Sora took care of Xemnas and the organization years ago?"
making a few hand gesture to accompany his wise response, "Well it has been some time since then Cloud...it is about time the ways of the keyblade returned to the worlds, considering Xehanort's legacy was taken care of...and especially that there will *always* be new forms of darkness trying to take over." he shook his head..."It was only a matter of time before Sora's endeavors brought back the way of the keyblade, and new forms of evil were soon to sprout forth. All I can truly say is, the fight of light and darkness goes on, and this is the result."
Shifting a bit and sighing, before grabbing up my sword from it's place against the wall, holding it in my right hand as usual, getting ready to take off. stopping with my back towards Merlin, but still speaking to him, I say before I go: "Well then...I've chosen my side...if Sephiroth's still out there, I must be his opposite to keep the balance."
Merlin's expression shifted to show signs of unease."Cloud...as you have gotten more powerful, so has he. you have your materia from your world, don't you?" Merlin would ask, a tad concerned.
tossing up a red summon materia and catching it as it glowed, a light aura about it. "Tch, you think I'd leave that behind?"
Merlin gave a soft grin, before leaning over and reaching into his magical bag.
"Here, in case that just isn't enough at times..." He would bring out a special black box, a bit deep in depth, with a nice sheen to it, gold metal edgings along it and the kingdom symbol(crown) in gold on it's top.
"Hmm?" I turned about shortly and looked back to him, accepting the box from him.
"it's a few things here and there I came up with. don't go giving them out to anyone though, because you know how hearts can change with a slight taste of power...also there's a little something in there especially for you...I came across it in my travels, and I just knew it was yours." he finished his words off with a wink, before turning about and sitting back down to enjoy some more tea.
I looked back and nodded to him with a smile, before moving the drapes and stepping out across the rocks in the pond...
"Cloud, you'd better not get yourself in trouble...I know you didn't get to save all of those materia..." Merlin thought to himself, knowing the summon I showed him was one of the weaker ones...
