The Hare looked to the Kitsuki after the Kuni had left, thinking a moment before he spoke.
"That would be nice, however, if the general is waiting it would be better I skip breakfast and eat after seeing him. If you know where guests might be quartered, however, I should very much appreciate it if you could show me the way there. I believe I should find my companions and make ready to see him as soon as I can."
Heading to the door, he stopped and considered a moment, before making a polite offer. As polite as he could manage. Even if she did seem much more... even tempered than the last Kitsuki he'd known.
"If you still wished to hear about the tournament, however, I would be most happy to tell you about it over a meal later in the day, however."

Once Hida had turned away, Miyako thwapped Kojiro on the shoulder harder and gave him a very unhappy glare. How could he be so mean? "Do say you'll join us for lunch later, Hida-san? Bayushi-san will tell you a great many stories." But she did let him lead them out wondering where the Hare and Crab were. Then again, not having the crab around would probably make things easier.

@ Kojiro & Miyako:
You both are led into some quarters, currently kept in fairly pristine condition. Several ornamental items are on display, as well as several military books stacked atop an cabinet.
Daisetsu closes the door quietly behind you two after you enter, turning his massive frame around to face both of you. He would reach up and remove his helmet, revealing his locks of hair, a tangled and unforgiving mess. It looks like his hair was coated in mud, perhaps from the heavy rains yesterday? It's quite unkempt.
Holding the helmet in his hands, he simply frowns at the both of you, his face practically sagging.

"Hida-san?" Miyako was confused and looked to Kojiro for an explanation before turning her attention back to the Hida. "Is something wrong? Are you okay?"

"You've only offered us your friendship, Daisetsu-san, and I thank you for that." Kojiro said as he bowed to the big Hida. "As many will attest, I'm a rather dense bushi. I apologize for not being fully able to understand your pain, and for not knowing what I can do to help with it. Will you forgive me?"

The little Dragon was unabashed. Of course she knew he couldn't tell stories now. After another bow to the departing Kuni, she turned to grin up at Denbe. Or at least, she would have... until he mentioned guest quarters and companions. At that the smile turned into a small frown. It seemed she would not be needed after all, and she crossed her arms to point in opposite directions (indicating both directions of the hallway outside) as the shimmer of excitement left her eyes. "We're in the guest quarters."

Looking slightly abashed at that, the Hare moved toward the door, and stopped to bow to the Dragon, smiling as he reached to open the door. "Thank you then. You've done a great deal for me today. Unless you might have seen two Scorpion or a Kaiu that arrived yesterday, I think I should thank you and look forward to speaking more once I have seen to my duties."
Giving another short bow, he'd look into the hallway... and hope Shosuro-san and Bayushi-san were alright with being found. They could be very... problematic to locate when they were not hoping to be found. He wasn't even positive he could locate them in group of Scorpion if they had taken a change of masks, for that matter.

Kojiro, you bow to show your greatest, sincerest condolences to Hida Daisetsu, with the greatest and utmost etiquette.
Miyako, you do not. So you get to see when the crown of Daisetsu's skull suddenly cracks open, being pulled apart by several greenish protrusions. Though their nature quickly becomes evident, with the head of the Hida being pushed in half like a broken melon from the inside.
Two green hands would use the broken skull as leverage as a lithe, but fairly large, bony, withered, naked crone would rather quickly snake free of the confines of Daisetsu's body.
Slick with the man's internal fluids, the crone would flip over and land before Daisetsu's standing corpse, landing in a four-limbed crouch and letting out a low hiss.
The door is blocked by a corpse, and a bog hag prepares to kill both of you. Initiative, please!

The Scorpion bushi dug deep within himself . If he hit the thing hard before it could react, then it would be no threat to either him or Miya-chan. With a loud "KIAI!" Kojiro tried to cut through the creature!

Miyako stared in horror for a split moment before she realized the horror before her very eyes....and then in a manner much like any court raised girl...she screamed. However, not in a manner like any court raised girl, she also lifted her tanto and threw it directly at the 'thing' that Kojiro was attacking. And she made her voice as loud and designed to carry as she could. Thank god for being an actor and voice projection, amirite?
