Eric didn't quite know how to react to this. At least she's alive. he hugged namine back lightly. It's all he could muster in his current state. My strength is suddenly gone. Oh the power of love. he thought and coughed lightly.
"that is just precious. I wish I had a camera" Lawrence said sarcastically. Eric glared at him. Remind me to kill you later you d**k! he thought. He refocused on namine and smiled again.

I'm so sorry namine, I was the one who dragged you into this hell. Eric just sat there, letting things happen. He had so much to say but couldn't.
How sad Lawrence thought. They are such great friends but now communication is basically down. He must be so stressed or sad now. I wish there was something more I could do. Lawrence looked down and silently cursed. Of all the places he could be injured why his throat? His voice was something we took for granted even if he didn't use it. he thought. An air of saddness in the room.

man, I need to brighten up the situation but I don't know. Lawrence thought. Yogtz continued making various medical supplies to donate to the infirmary.

Eric laughed. Thank you. I needed that. he thought. Lawrence was making some crazy device when he heard Eric laughing. damn I've been beaten. All I needed was a destiny island holiday album and some wood shavings. he thought. Yogtz had been staring at Lawrence while he made this newfangled device. Did he plan on blowing him up? That's what he has there. A bomb. he thought and prevented him from moving further into the project. He explained that he had no idea what he was doing and he would doom us all if he used that device. "kupo, kupo, kupo, what were you thinking? You got a box, some fireworks, a wireless radio and a watermelon. What the heck were you thinking? How did you get a whole watermelon here? It's like 2000 munny a quarter." he said.

Eric continued smiling. Oh blech hair in my face. Oh thanks again namine. he thought. Lawrence and yogtz had settled the argument and changed subjects. "so you think we can move him now?" Lawrence asked.
"I think he's ready kupo. Even in his condition he's a tough one." yogtz replied.
Way to treat me like common cattle guys. Tch I'm to happy to care now. he thought, chuckling a bit.

Eric relaxed with namine at his side. im happy. Truly happy for once. I can take on the world with my friends by me. he thought smiling.
Ok he will end up going nuts if we stay here to long. He probably is probably concerned of the others involved in the fray. Kupo, kupo, kupo you're such a noble soul but it nearly got you killed. yogtz thought. He let Eric and namine relax together until he thought he was ready to move. He was almost jealous of the young love. Moogle women are so uptight. I may never be like them. yogtz thought as he sat down.

I must have died there. This is better than the heaven i originally saw. Who needs that scrap of sand? Eric closed his eyes smiling. All those who are important to me are alive. My sacrifice wasn't for naught after all. a pain suddenly sprang to Eric's throat. It felt as if something was eating at the wound.
