To answer you question, what happens is everyone who participate will have there name pined up in the front page. Everytime someone post an image for the daily event, I'll update there pic. If you miss a day, your name will be crossed off, meaning you missed a day so your no longer eligible for the main prize. But if you keep posting pics after I'll keep updating your pics under your name on the main page. So in short if you wanna participate just for fun, or when a theme appeals to you thats fine : ) you just won't be eligible for the prize at the end.
And if no one post one day, well the event is busted XD cause everyones name will get crossed off. I don't think that will happen though, I have faith in the artist >: )!!!!!
I love that site as well : ) you can find lots of disney animators there, and see what some of there animations looked like in the earlier stages of some of the more popular movies like beauty and the beast!!! I love the one that shows 3 different animators working on the same scene, one animating bell, another the beast, another bells father. Each animators drawing style was different. It was really interesting !!! : D

Hehe no worries ^-^ I had a feeling maybe you didn't catch the "per persone" part haha : ) No worries, it happens to the best of us : ). If you'd like to donate some funds towards the event that would be greatly appreciated acctually. I think I might start up a donation section for people who wish to help out. : )
Hey kitsune : ) Unfortunatly were not handing out any free passes on this event. If you know a head of time, like before the event starts that you can't make it for "X" day then send me a pm and we can work something out : ). People who wish to continue doing the event even though they missed a day are still more than welcome to continue participating : ) You just won't be eligible for the 500k prize at the end. We'll be posting everyones updates, daily though, so if you still want to keep it up, to push yourself to improve, I'll still update your pics : ).
And no its not expected to be coloured. We ask that people take a min of half an hour to work on there piece per day, if you have the time to colour great! if you don't thats fine as well. Pretty much everyone has different objectives in this event. Some might want to work on there speed drawing, or sketching, others may want to work on fine details and such. The focus is more on what skill you wish to improve on.
