Elkand laughed " Never obey that feeling, there is never a world you can master, such a feeling might cause you to lose your ability, thought consider yourself lucky...you aren't getting hunted by sorcerers and sorceresses" he said " Sometimes its a good thing to have insufficient knowledge where it doesn't matter." he said and looked at the Wyrm which looked more like a dog " I bet its been awhile, being stuck in that necklace.." he yawned. He twirled his finger lifted a bit of bacon and eggs into the air before he pulled a plate from the cupboard he placed it on the other side of the table as the bacon and eggs landed right on it. He went over at sat down taking off the black jacket he wore and draped it over the chair. He nodded to her " I appreciate the food Larkanna." he said and started to eat slowly. He closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath as he called " So I sense you have questions about what happened earlier...might as well take this time to ask them." he said.

Larkanna watched Wyrm in slight admiration before she cooked her own food, all the while listening to the wizard's words. After she finished cooking the eggs she placed a strip of bacon onto her plate and sat across from him. Her meal was quite meager compared to his, but she had a small frame and due to her extensive use of magic, she oftentimes had little energy to eat. "I actually find it an odd blessing to be eating amongst those that are... trustworthy. No thanks is needed." Her words sounded foreign to herself, but she inwardly shrugged them off.
Taking a bite of bacon, she tilted her head to the side and studied him for a long moment before asking, "First of all, I'd like to know why they were there in the first place. They wanted to summon something and you have the knowledge of its true power. As worldly experienced as I am, I do not know what they wish to acquire."

Elkand thought about it and sighed " They were after Celcus." he said " Celcus was a very terrifying creature when it was unsealed able to reduce the inter netherworld to a frozen wasteland and place our world into a into an everlasting winder." he explained " Its so powerful it would take a combined force of the strongest witches and wizards and the strongest spells ever created to even keep it down." he said " The first was by an ancient dragon from the netherworld by the name of Avalon...the battle was fierce and if now for the creatures one weakness it would have killed Avalon." he said " Avalon sealed the creature in a large cave binding it in black ice..the one thing it could never break a last resort for Avalon." he said " Upon my travels I can upon it on the upside I got to learn how to create the ice myself but I also gut stuck with knowledge on how I was supposed to free the creature and any other trace of it was destroyed so I'm the only person who knows how." he said " I'm not sure how they figure that out but they have been trying to convince me to unseal it." he said " Unfortunatly Celcus is not the only one." he said.

Larkanna had always steered clear of the netherlands as much as possible or when it wasn't nessessary that she travel there. She had no tolerance for the cold, which often chilled her to the bone even if it hadn't even started to snow. As powerful of a witch as she was, the cold and vast amounts of water were her greatest weaknesses. "If they return, I'll make sure that they won't return again to harm you." Her eyes held a determined glimmer. Her temper nor new loyalties weren't to be triffled with. "Creatures like Celcus deserve to be where they are imprisoned and they are foolish to think that they can even begin to control it."
"That is the gospel truth right there." Wyrm said, returning to his vessel with an absent-minded growl. "I had once kept Celcus at bay, always telling the blasted monster that the time was not right to punish the human and magical races. When I'd passed on, I had told Avalon, who had been my nephew at the time, that it was his duty to make sure that Celcus' rage was contained properly. Celcus is a creature driven by pure malice and no conscious... it became so monsterous that even I could barely get my courage up to sustain it."

Elkand didn't expect to hear that but he was glad though his face remained serious " Their goal isn't to control it." he said " They plan to set it loose and create a barrier to protect witches and then have me, if I can reseal it.' he said " Its funny though, of all the poor fools to gain that information it just had to be me." he said " However that group is one of the least dangerous and so is the monster." he said " And that group is entirely female if you believe it, I know some of them looked like guys but thats beach of this spell I cast on them at one point." he said with a slightly devious chuckle. He looked at her " But still I'm slightly hoping on group never comes knocking beacuse they could very well kill you and me and still be able to free it." he said and smiled " So long as they remain inactive we're safe." he safe and looked at her remembering something " Oh Yes Ms.Blackfeather...when is this witch gathering or whatever you called it supposed to happen?" he asked her.

Larkanna nodded and smiled at the part where he mentioned that they were all female, but didn't look the part. She often used spells that would make her look like a teenage boy when she went out into the human public and she thought that she looked rather handsome when she did so. "Well, whatever the case is, I'll make sure that we don't go down without a good fight."
Upon the rememberance of the witch gathering, she jumped out of her seat and dashed from the kitchen. "Damn!" She said as she returned several minutes later. "I must have been knocked out from our spell for several days before I woke up and left to get things settled with you." Snapping her fingers, the entire house seemed to shimmer for a moment before looking extremely clean and elegant. It took little energy, due to the fact that she'd set up plenty of 'glamour' charms that only needed activation.
"Is this some sort of... female cleaning fettish?" Wyrm said as he escaped his stone and sat at the feet of Elkand, watching her with a little worry.
She glanced back at the two before smiling shakily, "It's tonight. I'm the only witch that has a tendancy to forget important dates... especially when my past mentor, the Witch Mother, is coming. She'll probably scold me yet again for my ignorance and for my... male 'selection'." She shuddered at the thought of what her last mentor would think when the ancient woman caught sight of a wizard, but more specifically Elkand, in her last apprentice's house.

Elkand looked at Wyrm " You know I'm not sure, I think when it comes to cleaning for something important they go insane." he said watching her and looking around " But this must be really important, I thought this was just a gathering." he said and looked over at her tilting his head to the side staring at her " Just relax I'm sure everything will be fine." he said trying to clam her down a bit seeing how she was shaking.
He laughed " Thats cute Ms. Blackfeather wants to impress her mentor." he said though it was in no way an insult. He stood up and put on his black jacket and looked at her " Well I suppose I better get ready for it then, after all I don't want yuor evening to be ruined just beacuse of me though it'll be strange wont it? Have me along." he said and yawned " Pardon me for a moment." he said and walked out to go change out of his apprentices robe. This seemed important to her so he was going to try and now screw it up for her. He wondered if her mentor was powerful or just plain tough.

Wyrm chuckled a little at the wizard's reply, "Even after all these years, their odd cleaning habits continue to amuse me." Catching sight of Larkanna's unfinished breakfast, he inched over and stole it from her plate, enjoying the taste of food. Suddenly the dishes floated into midair and were placed into a sink with hot, soapy water. Scrub brushes began to scrub them clean before they seemed to vanish altogether, when they were simply put into their respective cupboards, all dry and shiny.
"Cute...? Where in the world did you come up with that?" Larkanna asked, readjusting the jacket on her shoulders, "And as a matter of fact, I'm trying to impress her." But she was quickly sidetracked when it came to lighting fires throughout the entire mansion, hoping to warm it up. Stopping in the middle of a chant, she looked at him with sincere amber eyes, "You won't ruin it. It's their reaction that will decide that, and if they can't accept you for being a wizard, then they can go home and learn to deal with it. You're the most charming and likable man I've ever run across, either in the human communities or the magical ones." When he left, she realized that she was still wearing the tunic and breeches that she'd gone treking through the woods in the day before. That's when she dashed up the stairs to her room, which was hidden from everybody but herself.

Elkand was amazed by what she said before she left. They were getting along well enough strangely though it wasn't to long ago that they despised each other and yet he was comfortable with it. Once he left he went up to his room and dressed in special gold and red wizard robes. He probably wasn't going to impressive anyone there but he could try. He wondered what they were going to think about her " choice" of company. He just shook his head and put on his tradition and yet special gold and red hat and finished tying on his white sash. He grabbed his staff and set out. All of this didn't take to long as he went over to her house. He opened the door and walked in and looked around shaking his head it certainly looked different. He went over to the corner and conjured up a chair and sat down quietly his hat covering his eyes as he leaned back.

The intruder charms didn't go off, but they informed Larkanna of his entrance. She dressed in a simple, but mystically elegant deep green dress that had symbols in gold and silver thread around the hems to prevent tripping or tearing. Her long and usually umtamed fire-like hair in a bun at the back of her head, she wrapped a shawl over her shoulders before nodding with satisfaction at her reflection. She knew that many witches were vain creatures and would use glamour spells on themselves to make them irresistable to any man's eyes, but she found it very childish. She embraced her plainness and used it to her advantage.
Walking down the stairs silently, she waved her hand and the chandelier lit up, but not nearly as bright as many normally would have. No use blinding herself and everyone who entered this room. Looking over to the corner of the room, she saw Elkand and smiled a little. "Resting up before chatting with witches? A smart plan."

Elkand tilted his head up a little to look at her " Might as well, I have a feeling that before the day is done were gonna be two tired people." he said and looked at her " This must be really important to you, you don't seem like the type of person to get all dressed up." he said " You look stunning Raven even without glamour magic." he admitted to her as he titled his hat him his staff resting on his shoulder. He actually liked it when people would rather go with a natural look instead of using spells which he could see from a mile away.
He looked at her " So you mind telling me about the special guest?" he asked her " You seem to be nervous, is this woman important to you?" he asked her leaning back with a smile. He was curious to find out about this woman who she was expecting and seemed eager to impress.

Larkanna had enough control over herself that she didn't blush when he said she looked stunning. Conjuring another chair near his, she walked over and sat down. "I guess I simply had to match your handsomeness tonight." She was looking around the room to make sure that everything looked good enough before he snapped her out of her contemplation. "Wisteria Satin is the current Witch Mother, or the strongest of all the witches in the world at the moment. When I was rising in status and reputation, she took notice of me when she really shouldn't have. Taking me under her wing, I guess you could say she ripened the chances of my becoming the next Witch Mother greatly. She passed so much knowledge of spells and even the universe to me...." Sighing a little sadly, she felt as if she'd let the woman down, so she didn't say it aloud. "She ended up becoming more than a mentor to me; more like a grandmother of sorts. She thinks of me nothing more than her last apprentice she ever took on, so it's my job to make sure that she is pleased with the progress I've made on my own without her watching me as carefully as she once had."

Elkand nodded " I think you for your kind words Milady." he said and listened to her as she told him about her mentor and smiled " She sounds like a great woman indeed." he said " She certainly did her job well, if it wasn't for our souls being bound together you would have been the perfect candidate." he said " I can see why she's so important so I shall aid you in making sure she is pleased with the progress you have made." he tilted his hat back down "Assuming she doesn't carry a deep hatred for wizards.." he said " You can count o my knowledge to aid you." he yawned " How many people are you expecting to show?"

Larkanna didn't say anything in reply to how he assumed that she didn't carry a deep hatred for wizards. As a matter of fact, the woman would rather die than smile at one. The elderly woman was short-tempered and had a terrible habit of speaking her mind whenever and wherever she thought it might pitch in to a conversation. Let's just hope that she doesn't try turning him into a paperweight or something of the sort...
"Just the Witch Mother and... the Witch of the Wastes." The last part she said, trying to contain a growl of hatred towards the older witch that thought she would be the next Witch Mother. Sending a bolt of fire in the direction of the fireplace, it sent sparks in all directions but nothing caught flame. "I pray that the earth will swallow her up one of these days!" Standing, another bolt of fire appeared in midair and crackled with her temper. Holding out her hand, it landed in her palm as she clenched it into a fist to put it out. "Unfortunately, my prayers have been ignored. God probably rolled his eyes with disgust when she came into her powers."

Elkand looked at her and laughed " Well this will certainly be interesting." he said " I was probably right about being tired." he said " I'm interested in meeting both of them now...but I'm not letting my guard down just in case one of them tries to kill me." he said and looked at her. He shrugged " What ever she did to make you hate her must have been great." he said " If yuor prayers won't be answered you could always prove her to be a weakling on your own." he said " Whatever try and make yuor reunion a pleasant one Raven." he said and leaned back hiding his eyes behind his hat.
