Bekra attempts to shake off the dog. "Stop now and Faern may spare you," she informs it as she looks around to see what else may be going on.

"Wha?" he turned, lifting his pistol before seeing the dog. It wasn't much but an alarm, which was bad. "Blood and Ashes!"

Lifting his pistol, he'd snap a shot off at the dog. Stealth was currently out of the question. The door slamming then the dog had ruined it.

The dog yelps in pain as the bullet strikes home, sending out a font of hot blood across the entry way. It stops snarling and clearly looks injured.

Mr. Dainty Paws scrambles up the wall and around the top of the door frame into the room beyond, skittering up across the ceiling, its disturbing gait made even more bizarre by its ability to defy gravity.

Aeth tries to throw a ball of acid at the dog beyond Bekra.

The dog attempts to retreat, yelping in pain as it ducks behind the mangy desk set in the center of the small room.

{Withdraw action does not provoke an attack of opportunity, so it manages to retreat successfully.}

The room itself is a small affair, 15' wide and 20' deep, with a desk set in the middle and four doors aside from the one Bekra currently stands in - one to the south, one to the north, and two on the east wall. The southernmost one of these doors opens, and bursting out is a sour-faced man with short blond hair and clothing that is out of fashion but clearly of fine make. He yells at the dwarf in the entry way, "What'd ye do to meh dog, ye b***h?!" as he pulls a small glass vial from his pocket and throws it at her.

The vial shatters against Bekra's armor, covering her in a highly concentrated acid. Those standing next to the poor dwarf take 1 point of splash damage.
