XSinistre ........... "Flare" ........... VeninX✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖ When her prey had gotten about ten meters ahead of her, Flare slipped from her tree to the soft carpet of the forest floor and crept after them. She made her way a good deal to their left, so that she would not stumble straight into them if they stopped, but close enough so she could easily pinpoint the source of their footsteps when she stopped to listen at regular five-minute intervals. After she had been following them for some time, she came to a point where she felt no soft vibrations of footsteps among the fallen leaves and ferns, and presumed them must have stopped for the night. All evening, the hybrids had moved in a northwesterly direction; she had no reason to think they would change their course after dark, since they were, likely as not, tired and hungry after their escape and the two fights. Thus, she walked only until she could see their outlines dimly, and guessed that they were going to make camp there, since they had stopped. The large stone beside the blue-haired boy would shelter them if the wind picked up, though it was far from ideal. Satisfied, Flare blinked once and backed away into the trees, picking her path carefully so as not to make a sound that would pierce through the normal tones of the night. When she felt she had gone far enough, she stretched out her wings and began to run, jumping into the sky and heading back to where she had left Caine, away from where the sun had disappeared behind the trees, into the waiting darkness.✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖

XSinistre ........... "Flare" ........... VeninX✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖ As Flare flew, she scanned the forest below her, watching for flashes of color, but saw mostly cool blues and greens. Hissing in annoyance, she shook her head and increased her speed. Her fang necklace hung down below her, the dark-stained, yellowed curves clinking together softly with the force of the wind. It was far quicker flying than it had been on foot, and soon enough she spied Caine leaning against a tree. She wondered what kind of hybrid he was, exactly, and made a mental note to ask him later. It would be good to know his talents if she was going to--she shuddered mentally--work with him. As she flew overtop of Caine, her shadow flickering across his face and then melting back into the grew of the forest, Flare curved her wings and slowed, banking so she came around once more, and landed about five meters in front of him and slightly to his left, running several paces until she could slow herself to a walk and turn back in his direction. "Bon soir," she called in greeting, stopping with plenty of distance between them, from him, still standing. "They've stopped by a large rock, to shelter from the wind, maybe 4 or 5 kilmeters to our northwest. They were going slowly, but they make pick up the pace if they feel it is safe to fly. They spoke not of their desired destination, however. We shall have to follow them at a distance and scout their camps until we can discover it; or else we'll have to follow them the whole way." As she went on, Flare began to speak more rapidly, the syllables slipping from her jaws and tumbling into the air. "Admittedly, it would be quite amusing to watch them believing we've lost their scent--while it lingers on every bush and tree in their path, fools--and trying to survive in the wilds with no experience. Indeed, it could serve for great sport to attack them every so often, then back off. We can't kill them, of course, which is truly a shame, but still, no one said they couldn't be injured. Or dying. Little poison in the veins, yes, and they'd come in nicely, wouldn't they, although they wouldn't last all that long. Not more than an hour, no, they'll die in anguish in the wilds, alone and confused and tormented, and I'll be laughing all the while..." Flare broke down into hissed laughter, her one eye glazed over, not seeing Caine in front of her, rather living in the scene she had painted. Then, rather abruptly, she stopped, and her her mind's eye focused on another scene. Blood dripped down her face as she reveled in his death, and a slow smile crept upon her face. "Il est très amusant à regarder les choses meurent."✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖✖

Agua Picina
Agua had fallen back, closer to Courtney and Jason. By now they had walked several miles, if not more. "I'm exhausted, I'm stopping here for the night." Agua sat himself down next to a large tree, he assumed it was oak, they weren't that high in altitude. There was no hope of getting him to move, Agua was done for the night. Absentmindedly Agua willed the wind to change directions, from east to west to west to east. That way it would be much harder for anyone to follow them using their sent, like Erasers did. This however tired him even more, and Agua was on the verge of sleep. "I need food..." A soft tired voice escaped his lips. Agua tilted his head towards Jason, knowing he probably still had some from the time they had gotten seperated.
