Jesse smiled slightly. "Th-thanks." She refused to tell the group about her past until they could pin their lives to one another. Not until I can trust them further than I can trust myself. she told herself silently. She bit her lip as she fought away the bad memories and tried to focus on the right now.
She looked at her hand. "Link... can you see the three more sections of each Triforce? It seems as if they're divided into three more. Mine is kind of in the same area as the Triforce of Courage... only..." she faded, thoroughly confused.

"My hand is the same way." Teagan replied, letting go of Jesse and holding her hand out. Link took Teagan's, looking closely at it. "You're right. Yours is in the Wisdom section." He then took Jesse's and examined it. "What could this mean? Are all of yours like this?"

Destral whispered to himself when Link had spoken to him. "More than even you know...Mine is a bit diffeent, more like Link's, or at least a part of it. I don't remember anything about this so- I mean, who do you think will know about this sort of thing?"
The cloaked figure in Hyrule Fields sensed a great amount of multiple sources of power all in one area. Slowly, as if the person was walking with some difficulty, like he was used to having much more strength and suddenly lost it in a split second and hadn't gotten used to it yet. So many sources...this will be a busy day...hehehe....

Brooke continued to look to her hand curiously as the others spoke. She suddenly broke in."I'm not completely sure about mine." She said. "I think mine is a part of the Wisdom Triforce." Looking up from her hand Brooke asked anyone with an answer, "Do you think so?"

"Yes, Brooke, that's part of Wisdom. And honestly Destral, I'm unsure. The only person I can possibly think of that may have an idea is Princess Zelda." Link told them, taking off one of his gloves and looking at his own shining mark, wiggling his fingers and watching the bones and muscles shift underneath the Triforce sign. "She's our best bet." "Then should we set out to Hyrule Castle?" "I think so." "Then let's go right now, I- "Teagan, no. Destral's likely still dazed from the lack of food and everything that's happened. You have to comfort your family members. And for Farore's sake you're in a dress, do you really think you can go long distances comfortably in that?" "Sorry, I just really want to save my brother..." Teagan lowered her head a little. He frowned and put an arm around her. "Listen, first thing tomorrow we'll all set out. Today is for preparation. You have no idea how much it pains me to wait for this." Indeed, Link longed to set out on another quest. Lying dormant for all this time was almost maddening. She turned her head to him and gave a small half-smile. "That sounds like you, adventure boy." Teagan giggled. "Alright. We'll have to make proper sleeping accommodations for everyone later tonight. Jesse, you're welcome to use my guest room. Destral, would you mind staying here for the night? It'd be comforting to know someone could protect Layla, Penelope, and my sister-in-law, Reana, should more danger come. And Brooke, hm... Would you be alright staying with my parents and my younger sister?" Teagan asked, gazing out the window with one arm folded, the other cupping her chin. She watched the sun, still shining brightly as if unaware of what'd just happened. It'd be a while until nightfall.

Destral nodded, sheathing his whipblade. "I'm in good enough condition to fight. Though they may find a few snacks missing..." He averted his gaze slightly, looking around the room. "Wait, where did they go?"

Brooke moved her sleeve back over her hand and lowered her arm to her side. She listened closely to what Teagan had said and what was going on. "Yes, I could stay there for the night. Should I start heading out?" She replied to Teagan shyly as she stood up. I wonder what their place might be like...

A small rug in the corner moved ever-so-slightly. A soft, gentle knock could be heard in the group's silence. Teagan headed over to it and threw off the decoy, opening the hatch wide open to let the family out. Immediately Penelope headed straight for her aunt, who was sitting by the door to the basement. She threw her arms around her and cried softly into Teagan's shoulder. Reana held the now-calmed Layla tightly, her eyes wide as she carefully picked up the knocked-over armchair and sat down in it. Her eyes were almost expressionless, staring into nothing as she spoke. "Where is my husband?" She glanced at the others as she stood up with Penelope, unsure of what to say. "Robert... The... I..." It was as if she couldn't say it.

Unlike Teagan, Destral had the heart and nerve to break the news. "Currently, he's being possessed by a mask that somehow has the smarts to think and speak. Apparently its a bad guy too. Sorry, but we'll get him back for you, don't worry." He gave her a reassuring smile.

Jesse stayed quiet for a change, humming a calming tune to herself, the lyrics running through her head. She could almost hear her mother's voice in the distance. She fought back tears again, and to hide this she glanced around. She found herself smiling at the beautiful song in her head.
She put the glove back on and re-wrapped her hand with the stained cloth. Princess Zelda... She thought to herself. ...sounds familiar...

Reana looked as if she'd slap Destral. It seemed as if he was taking this lightly! He had the heart to- Quickly anger was drained from her face, sadness flooding it. "My husband, I..." Tears formed, silently streaming her cheeks. "Can you take Layla, please." She said somberly, handing Teagan the newborn. "Can I go upstairs and rest?" "Sure thing, Reana. I'll take care of Penny and Layla, okay?" Reana stood up and silently went up the stairs, muttering a small 'thank you.' You could hear a door shut from downstairs, and muffled sobs. "That wasn't the best way to handle it." Teagan glared at Destral, then sighed. "Anyway..." She looked at the little girl in her arms and couldn't help but smile. A pair of emerald eyes stared up at Teagan's equally green eyes with wonder and curiosity, reaching a chubby little hand out towards her. "...I'll get your dad back. I promise."

Brooke looked somberly toward Reana and Layla. Destral's comment was a little too blunt... She thought as Reana went upstairs and began to cry, and continuously stared at the door. Looking a different direction, Brooke stayed silent and dozed off at nothing, her eyes lowering more and more.

"Getting tired, Brooke?" Link asked her with a small smile, seeing her eyelids drooping. He turned to Teagan and the baby, with Penelope by her side. "I'm absolutely stunned. She's but a few hours old and tragedy's already struck." Teagan said quietly, then stood up straighter and looked at the others. "Let's start preparations. I'm going to take Penelope and Layla over to my brother Henry. I- "Is it over?" A voice called from the open hatch. "Nikko! That's where you've been? I've been wondering where you went off too." He emerged fully from the hole, standing up. "Is Reana upstairs?" She nodded. "Will you look after her for the day? Tell her I'm taking the kids to Henry, she's in no shape to look after them right now. For Din's sake she'd given birth this morning! She must be so weak. "Can do." He nodded, making his way upstairs. "Auntie Tee? Is momma gonna be alright?" Penelope asked, voice shrill with fright. "Of course. You and your sister are going to visit Uncle Henry, okay?" "Okay." "Alright you guys, while I do this... Hm, Link, can you take Savine to the stables and prepare a few horses for the others? She's currently at Jacob's." "Sure thing. We should pack proper food for the trip, as well. Can one of you guys take care of that?" He asked Jesse, Destral, and Brooke. "We'll also need weapons. I can get arrows, will we need bombs?"

Jesse began to sing the words of the song softly, in what sounded like ancient Hylian. She didn't know exactly what it meant, but it sounded pretty.
She didn't want to stop the song so she smiled wide and sang a bit louder, letting the happy memories of her parents wash away the grief somewhat. She took her bow and tested the string, satisfied with the sharp twang of the string.

"Jesse! You're an archer, could you get arrows while I get bombs?" Teagan asked her. "The sooner we get started the sooner we can rest. I'm going to head out, now." Link said. "Alright." Teagan nodded to him as he left.
"Shh girl, easy now." Link cooed as he stroked Epona's mane, then hopped on. He'd planned on taking her to the stables as well, so when they leave they all go together at the same time. He kept her at a steady, slow trot though the village, so he wouldn't startle anyone. He entered the ranch to see Jacob and Savine already there. "Jacob!" He waved, stopping Epona and getting off. "Hey, Link. What'cha need?" "Epona and Savine need to stay in the stables for tonight, and three more horses need to be prepared for riding tomorrow. Is Savine alright?" "Right as rain. She should be fine for tomorrow. What's the need?" "Teagan and I, along with three others, are heading to Hyrule. I suggest you stay together with your family for a while. Robert's been... Kidnapped." He felt that was the best way to phrase things. Saying he was possessed might sound a little too crazy for someone who wasn't there. "We're going after the one who did it, and our best bet to get to the bottom of this is going to Hyrule." Partly true. "Sweet Nayru..." Jacob was taken aback at the news. "I'll head over now." "Don't go to Robert's. Reana is still recovering from giving birth, and the shock of it all. I'd stay with Henry. Teagan is taking Penelope and Layla there." "Alright. I'll see you around, Link..." He began making the walk to Henry's. After leading Epona into the stables, he took in Savine, attaching a saddle and reins to her and doing the same to three black, brown, and white horses.
