Tatsuya bowed in unison with Gale and nodded. Before he straightened himself, the girl had swung at him. He jumped over the staff but was caught in the chest by Gale's kick. He stumbled back and was met with an onslaught of Gale's legs. If Gale's strong point was her speed, Tatsuya's was his stability. He stumbled back again but not as much as he side stepped and swung the bottom end of his staff toward the back of Gale's knees as he twirled half balanced to the side.
Will was only half paying attention to the match between Tatsuya and Gale. Gale had shaped up well enough in spite of her shy nature. Not bad. The other half of his attention was focused on Noel and making her blush. His eyes went to her neck, wondering if he wore the necklace he had given her not too long ago. If she did, it meant she had truly felt the way she had answered him that day. And then, Rave interrupted him. "Hmm?" What was that Rave raving about now? "Betting on Gale? No faith in our Tatty?" he whispered with a smirk to Rave. Oh, man... Rave was thinking about food and sneaking it in right under the emperor's nose. Rave certainly had gained more guts in the past year. "You go do that." The blonde whispered. He was in front of Rave, so he could hide Rave's difference. However, since Will was i nthe first row, he shouldn't move... Key word. Shouldn't. "Hey, get some for me."

Gale was swept off her feet, as the staff caught her in her knees she fell, but quickly pushed herself off her back and performed a backflip standing up right. Her knees were a little sore but she would work through the pain. Gale began to pick up speed as she reached into her pocket, and threw three throwing stars towards Tatsuya. She hoped to pin the young man down to finish him off quickly. The Emperor watched the battle between the two young people, whispering into a guards ear and focusing again on the fight.
Noel was impressed with Gale. When she had first met her, Gale wasn't the fastest or even the toughest but through time she had trained and became better at what she did. Noel pushed her hair out of the way as her necklace that Will had given her. She was very fond of it and she wanted Will to know that.
Rave smiled back at Will as he made his way into the kitchen. Everything looked so scrumptious. Smiling, he began to take some rice cakes and stuff them in a napkin. There was also roasted hen wings that were prepared as he grabbed almost a plate full. "Hmmm....what else?" he asked himself. Rice patties were near him, a sweet treat that he often enjoyed. Grabbing two of them he left the kitchen as he left. As he began to leave, he ran into a guard. "Oh hello...I can see this is not the restroom...I should be on my way" he said with a smile as he attempted to walk around the large man. His path was blocked. "Oh no someone's trying to attack the emperor" he said as the guard looked back, Rave began to run. Dropping a few things he ran down the long corridor hoping that he would make it back to the main hall in time.

Personality: Tatsuya is much less mischievious than Will and is often the brunt of Will’s pranks and jokes. He is much more responsible and holds a code of honor and is not willing to overstep the moral lines too far. However, being with Will has loosened his code slightly. Tatsuya is a nice boy, and he does compete with Will. Although he does not like how Will can get how of things easily or trick people (such as Noel), Tatsuya is good friends with Will. Appearance: TatsuyaBio: Tatsuya hails from a noble family from a mountain region, and the family has a mentality that promoted and emulated being refined. Tatsuya was raised to be an “upstanding upright citizen” and raised to “act right.” However, he had a hunger for other things and enjoyed the unexpected pleasures in life. Something felt missing just following through with his duties. Being the son in an important household, Tatsuya was held to the highest of standards and always was responsible for certain tasks. The reigns were loosened slightly when he entered governmental studies in this particular city. There, he met Will, a foreigner who surprised him with how fluently he spoke Japanese. Will also shocked him by how outgoing and how open and ready to overstep moral boundaries the blonde was. After some time, Tatsuya realized what it was that was missing from his life. No matter how much Tatsuya disapproved of some of Will’s actions, his life wouldn’t have been the same without the blonde. During training, Tatsuya also met Rave, Gale, Noel, and Aya…and life would get even more interesting… Weakness: Tatsuya is not the fastest of people. He is also bound by codes of honor and less likely to fight dirty. Other: Will calls him Tatty.

Personality: Genya is a prodigy, his mind absorbing studies faster than the typical human. He is the bumbling fool obsessively fascinated with scholarly studies and research. He is so enthusiastic he will keep explaining things in technical terms and confuse everyone. People say that he's skittish and a coward unless what is involved is an intellectual dispute. Gen is also very curious, and his curiosity unfortunately often does not know its bounds to the point of being oblivious to danger. While Gen is completely innocent and has no ill will, this engrossment stretches to the point that he has a bad habit of using unsuspecting friends and his brother as guinea pigs for experimental studies. Despite Gen's cluelessness and extent of curiosity, Gen actually is a kind soul. His enthusiasm about research often gives him a cheery demeanor. He gets embarrassed easily, and that often shows when his cheeks flush red. It's really obvious when he's upset because he cries. He sucks at getting jokes and making them.
Brand isn’t a very talkative person, but he’s very down to earth. He speaks only when he has something to say and if he has to say it. He is quiet and serious. At first, Brand might seem intimidating because of his height. His facial expressions also are slight and not very defined, but he’s actually very kind. Brand is a family guy, and values his family. Despite the lack of understandable communication between Brand and his brother, Brand is protective of Gen because he loves his little brother and his family. Brand adheres to an honor code of the martial arts and is not a fan of sneaky attacks or shady dealings. He also is not a fan of bullying and will step in when he seems a very obvious physical case of bullying. Brand doesn't like to study and never really enjoyed school, preferring to train or brawl.

Bio: Will currently lives with the Thorinaganos. They are good friends, and he is like an “international exchange student” to them. The Thorinaganos are a traditional family and are a line of scholars. While the Thorinagano family are scholars, they live humbly, delving most of their time into research. Gen has followed that trend perfectly, and is somewhat of a child prodigy, accelerating through studies and pursuing scholarly research on his own initiative, whether on his own or for school and teachers, and surprising his peers and elders since very young. He had always been a curious baby and showed high levels of intelligence. Brand didn't know what was going on through baby Gen's head, and he still doesn't understand the formulations that goes on through teen Gen's head.
As the sons of scholars, Brand and Gen's parents valued education and intellect highly. They put Brand and Gal through school, and Gen finished much earlier, "graduating" before Brand ever could. At 10 years old, Gen blew up his first lab. Brand, however, was held back a couple of times, and is still trying to finish his studies. However, while he lacks in the scholarly studies department, his physical strength and combat prowess exceeded anyone's in his family line....even if they tried to give him tips on stuff he could find out on his own about stamina and training physically. During the school times and throughout their lives, Brand has protected Gen from bullies who find Gen easy to pick on or are jealous of Gen's intellect for various reasons including a little kid beating the older students out. While Gen may be able to get people ruining libraries out by intimidating them with big words, it doesn't always work, and Brand ends up being the one physically throwing them out.
Weakness: Genya can’t fight at all. His strength sucks and he’s a wimp. He doesn’t take to blood well. Brand lacks brains for technical stuff, but he is a natural when it comes to fighting.
Other: When Gen was 12 and Brand was 15, their mother died from an infection. The infection had spread too far and too fast for effective treatment, and treatment didn't seem to work.

((Haha. I honestly don't know what to make of Tatsuya's style and how he's doing here. I'm assuming here that Gale doesn't have the staff anymore.))
Tatsuya sighed. Gale was coming on to him fiercer than usual. Then again, perhaps, he was the one not taking it seriously. Gale was female. Was it honorable to defeat a woman like this? If he won, some people might think he was dishonorable. If he lost, people would think he was dishonorable anyway. Wonderful culture. Such was the heavy load on someone from a noble family such as Tatsuya Matsumoto's.
The black haired Japanese man had not expected the ninja stars, and his weight was shifted by the placement of the stars as he lost his balance again. He managed to knock one of the stars away so it headed toward Will. Unlike Gale, Tatsuya would not use anything else in his arsenal. He would rely on the staff or himself. The young man dropped his staff to the side and launched himself forward. If ninja stars were for distance, he would close the distance. They honestly didn't have much space anyway.
The blonde caught the star, however, with a smirk, and dismissed it as if nothing happened. He noticed Noel's action and smiled back at her. She had worn his necklace. Soon, he heard Rave with his sensitive hearing. Rave was...being Rave. The boy wasn't always all that brave or smart with these kinds of things. A guard was running behind Rave. Will "conveniently" muted the guard's hearing for a minute, causing the guard to pause and stare around in confusion.

Gale glanced upwards as she saw Tatsuya closing in on her. He had managed to collide into her, Pushing her weight backwards, she wrapped her legs around Tatsuya, flipping in the air throwing Tatsuya back and landing on her feet but just barely. Tatsuya probably had Gale in speed so she had to think quickly. Running towards Tatsuya, she began to try and hit him with a three piece combo, one coming from a kick to the side, a jab to the face and hopefully executing an uppercut.
Rave continued to run and turned around to see the guards stumbling in position. Smiling he was almost near the great hall where the battle was occuring. "Excuse me, sorry pardon me...make way" he said as he pushed and stumbled over a few people until he finally caught back up to Will. Hey Will, I'm back. I got some roasted hen wings and rice balls and rice cake" he said with an eager smile. Handing Will his portion, Rave began to eat unmercifully.

Because of the momentum of Tatsuya running toward Gale, she had enough momentum to throw Tatsuya back. He landed on his side. He quickly got up, dodged the kick, but got nailed by the uppercut. Internally, Tatsuya was still deciding what to do and what was honorable and what wasn't honorable. Not going full out wasn't fair to Gale, but... this was one of the reasons why Tatsuya wasn't fond of noble obligations. The Japanese twenty year old stumbled back and struck at Gale's legs with one of his legs. However, he lost his balance, causing him to step out of the ring, giving Gale the victory.
If Will was the type to facepalm, he would have facepalmed at Rave's actions. The kid (even though Rave actually was older than Will) was not very good at being sneaky. "Did you think of how you're going to clean yourself up?" Oh, dumb question. There were always the ceremonial robes. How was Will supposed to munch on something while he was in the front row? He discovered his answer as Tatsuya tumbled into his arms, face down, from losing his balance. "Wow, Tatty. You slipped up big time today. What's the problem?" Will shoved a hen wing into Tatusya's mouth, and the other Japanese sputtered.
"Will!" he hissed. Tatsuya shoved the wing back at Will and then proceeded to return to the center of the room for the respective bows and so on.
Will smirked and smiled as he hid Rave being a glutton from everyone's view. He looked toward Noel again and used his sound ability to whisper to her across the room without anyone hearing. "Noel, Rave got us some snacks. Want any?"

Gale was surprised that she had won. Why did Tatsuya hold back like that? She would make sure she spoke with him later tonight. Bowing she walked off as she was greeted by a guard that took her to the side and began to speak with her.Noel looked into the direction of Will and Rave and shook her head. Rave was being a glutton and well, Will was just being thoughtful. She was just about to accept when her name and Will's name was called. They had been one of the top students and they were now being summoned to demonstrate what they had learned. Noel soon walked out into the middle of the room as she waited on Will to come and join her. Nervous was an understatement, she really just wanted to talk with Will and lay in his arms, not be caught in his arms with a body slam.Off in the distance a young woman stood looking at the ceremony from on top of a roof. Her dark hair blew in the wind as she focused on everyone in the vicinity. She wasn't alone, an army was well hidden within the city. The woman's hands glew a light violet color forming a circle around her as she extended her hands. Two strange figures appeared floating in mid air. "Wait for my signal to attack" she said in a calm voice.

Meanwhile, Tatsuya took his place back in the front row of the male graduates in their division. He ignored Will, who once again shoved a greasy hen wing into the hand Tatsuya had clasped behind his back. This caused the Japanese native to step on Will's foot. But alas, Will and Noel were called to the floor, and Will dumped the rest of the food into Tatsuya's hands and ignored the Tatsuya's silent protests.
The blonde young man stepped into the center of the room and smiled that mysterious smile of his as his eyes met Noel's. He bowed in unison with her. Fighting was not what he had in mind, and he was going to do what Tatsuya had warned him not to do...because it was inappropriate. Instead of fighting Noel, he grabbed her hand and spun her around as if they were participating in some strange dance... a dance that he would make into a martial arts dance. He was sure Noel would catch on.

Noel's eyes widened as Will took her hand and began to...dance with her? She soon began to catch on and proceeded to move in the same manner as Will. "Will how clever of you, how about you use your sound thing and make some music while we display our skills" she said winking at Will. She then began to run towards Will as she ran up his side to make it to his shoulders, standing on them ever so gracefully.
Rave looked at Tatsuya and smiled widely. "It's good huh?!?!" he exclaimed. Stuffing a rice ball into his mouth he smacked with satisfactory. Some of the people there began to eye Rave as he continued to eat but he didn't mind, he loved the food. He then looked forwards to see Noel and Will...dancing? Either way, it was interesting and he wondered who would be the winner. Could you even win dancing? None the less he finished what was left and wiped his face clean.

Will smirked as he twirled around balancing Noel on his shoulders and then striking a martial arts pose on one foot while still holding Noel's weight. As if on cue, some music began to play with some heavy drums to set the beat for the martial arts dance. The blonde grabbed a staff and tossed it up to Noel before grabbing his own staff. He planned to pull off more balance maneuvers, some that wouldn't seem possible such as standing Noel on one end of the staff while he held the other end. "And you can fly gracefully like a bird," he whispered to her with a smile.
Tatsuya looked back at Rave and shook his head slowly. Tatsuya couldn't do anything about the food Will shoved in back of him, the food that he was now holding and hiding in the long sleeves of his robe, that he had put back on. Actually, what was Will doing? Will hadn't even taken off his outer robe. "Want more food, Rave?"

Amara looked at Will and smiled. She lept into the air flipping over him but using flight to help her make it more elegant as she landed. Using her staff, she began to run as she kicked off it and began to fly forward with the staff, swinging it under Will's feet. Noel had to admit this was one of the most clever things Will had came up with.
Rave looked at Tatsuya. "Oh no, I couldn't possibly...I'm stuffed" he said to his friend. Letting out a large burp he then looked back towards Tatsuya. "So does the offer still stand?!?" he asked curiously.
"NOW!" the mysterious woman's voice rang. The summons had released water based attacks as they pierced through the buildings fragile exterior. The warriors who were with her proceeded to attack, killing men, women and children. Leaping off her post she landed into the room where the emperor, Will, Noel and the others were in. "Simply beautiful" she said clapping for Will and Noel. "I'm sorry, how rude of me, my name is Kikyo...and I'll be taking over this parish now" she said as she pulled out her cursed sword.

Tatsuya kept himself from gawking at Rave's unbelievable lack of manners, namely the burp. "Are you serious?" he asked in half disbelief as he handed the food to Rave. "It's a miracle you're not twice the size of us all." He shook his head and looked back toward Will and Noel. "And Will's just ...playing."
Will danced off to the side and over Noel's staff swing in a manner that almost seemed like a rendition of Riverdance. He was about to bring the staff over him and bend an end down to prop Noel onto it when suddenly, someone or many someone's interrupted them. It took a moment for Will to realize what was happening as he saw people being cut down. "We're under atta---" And then Kikyo appeared and announced herself while clapping for Noel and Will
"Kikyo eh?" Will muttered audibly. "Sounds like a Japanese accented version of 'kick yo a**'" Whether or not anyone understood what Will said was another story since he spoke these lines in English. He then reverted back to Japanese as he looked at Tatsuya, Rave, and then glanced at Aya and wherever Gale was. Obviously, the choice was to fight.
Behind him and Noel, Will could hear shouts of "Protect the emperor" as soldiers began to fight back. Tatsuya and Aya both nodded and dove into action. Tatsuya stepped on Rave's foot. "Rave, stop eating. We have people to protect!"
Will kept his eyes on Kikyo. She was dressed a bit skimpy, but she had a body that it looked alright on her. What really interested Will were the water creatures. He didn't know what they were, and he had never seen them before. "Eto, there is no parish." Will said with a smirk. "Come on, Noel. I suppose we should help out." The blonde went ahead and did what most people wouldn't do; flat out threw his staff straight at Kikyo, even if she had a sword, a cursed sword that he did not know about.

((yea he's a foodie like me lmfao,sorry just thought I'd throw some action in right now lol)) Rave screamed loudly as Tatsuya stepped on his foot. Eating one last wing, Rave stood up to run to the middle of the room as he grabbed a bow and arrow. Looking at the beast that were crippling people with their water based attacks, he swallowed hard. The white haired young boy then began to focus on one of them, hopefully taking one down would help improve the situation. Dodging each oncoming attack, he fired a few arrows as they went flying towards one of the two beast. A couple of the arrows were snapped in half but two actually pierced the beast as it let out a loud scream. Rave smiled happily. As he was getting ready to finish it off a blast of water hit him from the side as he flew across the room, hitting his head on the wall.
Kikyo looked at William and smiled revealing an actually graceful look about her. As his staff sped towards her she swiped her sword as it cut the staff into two pieces releasing a violet like energy towards Will. The foot soldiers continued to fight as the palace warriors were continuing to defend. Many were killed and fires had broken out.
Noel was actually having a great time with her boyfriend, unfortunately that came to an abrupt stop. Looking at the newcomer she studied her. What was her deal anyways? When Will began to speak, he spoke in English. She didn't understand it entirely but Will had been helping her out with it when they had down time. As Will attacked she saw the purple energy course towards him. Looking around she grabbed a gong ripping it off it's platform and throwing it towards the oncoming assault of soldiers. If she was lucky it was serve like a boomerang and crash into Kikyo as well.
Noel knew Will wouldn't be able to block the energy so she ran in front of him, trying to absorb the energy. Unknowing to her it was cursed energy, throwing her backwards through a table. She felt dizzy and couldn't focus as of right now but she wouldn't let that stop her from taking this b***h down.

"Rave!" Tatsuya yelled out as he saw Rave get thrown across the room, but Tatsuya couldn't hold his attention on Rave for too long. The Japanese noble was attacked by the same water creature. He unsheathed the two swords he had on his person. "This one is for Rave, you unwelcome creature!" Tatsuya declared as he sliced toward the water dragon creature thing. It was totally likely he would get knocked back like Rave had been too.
"Hmm, there goes my staff," Will remarked with a shrug. Sweet smile or not, Will's heart was set on Noel, so Kikyo wasn't moving him at all with that smile. When that violet energy moved toward him, he wasn't completely sure what to do. Maybe he would counter with sound waves and see if it could push the energy back. Before he could react, he heard the sound of a gong smashing through the air and smacking random people both enemy and friend alike. Oh, Noel. Well, it's a battle, Oh well. And in a flash, his girlfriend was in front of him absorbing the energy. Too late to catch her, he had to settle for catching her under the table she fell through. "Noel, don't over do it. Rest a little bit, alright?" And with that, Will picked up a table leg and dashed toward Kikyo launching sound waves at her, so the noise level in the room became super loud to Kikyo's ears.
Aya meanwhile had headed over to Gale. "Gale!" she called out as she stealthily took down enemies and fought her way over to the shier girl. That guard sure was taking a long time talking to Gale. Wasn't he going to move?
