Midna jumped out of the tree right before the lightning hit it. "Ha. You're gonna need to try harder if you want you hit me!"

"You are not trained for anything. You are nothing but a coward. You have promoted this fight, and you must attack back, or you're simply wasting our time." Ganon said angrily, frustrated that he couldn't hit the brat.

Midna frowned. "But all I have is a sword," she said like an innocent child. "How could I possibly attack you right now?" What she was doing was all part of her plan. She would wear him down, then attack when he was weak. It would take a while, but hopefully it would work.

Ganon ignored her sarcastic words and took out his sword. "Well then, I guess I shall match your weaponry." He lunged at her with the sword, preparing to slash at her stomach afterward.

Midna blocked the attack with her sword, and pulled another sword out of another sheath. She slashed at his back while she defended herself.

She hit him once, causing a tear in the fabric of his clothing. A little bit of blood began staining it. Ganondorf was even angrier, now. He slashed at her again and again, without any thought put behind his attacks.

Midna quickly dodged, but he got her leg. She fell to the ground in pain, holding her leg.

Ganondorf approached the weakened Princess, sword at the ready. "You are no fighter. It's time you realized that." He raised his sword high above his head, the tip of the blade pointed straight at Midna's stomach.

Midna smirked. "Oh really? You think you have me finished?" When he stabbed at her, she disappeared, transporting somewhere else in the village. She knew he couldn't see her, so she checked her wound out.

"Augh!" Ganon roared, fuming. "Almost had her finished. But I know that we will not be seeing the last of her." He turned to Tenebre. "Would you like to return to the castle with me? We can plot our next attack there."

Midna gasped when she saw the wound. It was deep, and she was bleeding quickly.

Link stared at the remainder of Castle Town, speechless. Quickly, he ran to a bucket lying in front of a shop with the roof caved in. He ran to the fountain, filling the bucket up and heading back to the building and throwing the water onto some persistent, flickering flames. They were stopped immediately.
Zelda carried a small child in her arms, a young girl of about 5 who'd hurt her wrist from a plank of falling wood. She looked at Link. "She said she's looking for her mother. Her name's Luna."
He nodded. "Zelda... About your dreams..."
"Nightmares." She corrected.
"I've been getting the same thing. I foresaw this event, and I was too foolish to realize that it was some sort of warning."
"Don't beat yourself up about it. You couldn't have realized something was wrong, nor could Miku or I for that matter."
"Luna! Luna, my dear!" A tall, thin woman with a long face and curly red hair rushed to the three of them.
"Mama!" Luna exclaimed, then whimpered at the pain in her wrist.
"Ma'am, thank you for- Princess?"
"Please, address me as Zelda. Your daughter's wrist may be sprained, I suggest you get it treated soon." Gently, she put Luna in the mother's arms.
"Thank you, princes- I mean, Zelda. Luna, say bye-bye to the nice lady, okay?"
"Bye-bye lady!" She extended her good arm up and waved it around.
Zelda laughed lightly. "Bye, Luna!" She looked back to Link. "I'm glad they've found each other again. Anyway, what do we do...?"

Midna decided to find Zelda. She concentrated hard, and transported to where Zelda was, still holding her leg.
