Lyssan laughs merrily and gives him a hug. "Miraculous! I'll have to remember that. So It does work after all. Now how about we go find your Daddy, hmmm. Enia, send a message to the kitchen to prepare us a picnic lunch and have it sent out to the far garden, would you please. We are going berry picking with Ame and Kya."

With that she stands up and ports the two of them to just outside the garden gates. "Now this is a special garden, Kero... there are burrows to hide in and explore, trees to climb, a rather large treehouse that my kids used to play in... even a pond to swim in... but don't go tearing the place up. We have a lot of things growing in this garden as well, berries and fruit, even some vegetables... and we use fish from the pond for some of our dinners. If you get hungry you may eat some, but don't go digging it up or killing it for no good reason. Think you can live with those rules?"

Lyssan sees the signs and knows she needs to make a connection here or he won't understand when he does get in trouble. Sitting him down on the ground, but snatching at his chin before he can dart off, she forces him to look her in the eye. "Before you dash off, repeat those rules for me... they are simple but very very important... if you break them you will not be allowed back in here, got that?"

Faced with that demand, eager to be off, he squirms about for a bit, wracking his brain for an answer. "I don'ts be bawd..." he offers hesitantly seeing how stern she is at the moment.

Lyssan sighs and shakes her head. "You werren't listening were you? Let me simplify it a bit for you. You don't break or dig or kill anything unless you are told it is alright to do so... clear enough... ask first... now let's go pick berries."

Nodding his head eagerly he darts off pell mell with no true destination in mind. He simply wants to see and smell it all. Then he catches sight of an enormous body of blue water in the middle of the garden. It is a small lake that clearly takes up two thirds of the area, surrounded by a tangle of berry vines to the north, flower beds left to go wild to the east and west, and random herb and vegetable beds nearer to the gate. In the middle of the lake is an island upon which sits a massive old oak, surrounded by smaller trees and bushes, and in that oak is an enormous treehouse.

Laughing she dives in after him and transforms into a smaller version of her kraken form, only one that can survive in fresh water. Swimming under him, she tickels him gently on his tummy, then darts away in a spray of intriguing bubbles.

Lyssan leads him on a good chase around the perimeter of the lake, then out to the center, where she morphs and paddles her way to shore, knowing he's probably getting a little tired. On a small rock strewn beach she finds Ametru sitting in the shake of the oak, reading, while Kyara lies curled up in a tiny shiny ball on a small sun warmed rock.

"So, who won, you or Kero?" he asks as she wrings the water from her hair.

The kami stands and gives himself a full body shake, then stalks towards the dragon grinning wickedly. "Come here, kid... let me give you a nice hug...."

And Amestru seems quite happy with wrestling and tussling with the dragon on the sand.

Lyssan watches them for a bit, then climbs up into the treehouse, to arrange things for their lunch. She opens up the large shuttered windows, letting the warm summer breeze flow through freely to air it out, the pulls a low table to the center of the room, placing several overstuffed pillows about it and frowns. It has been some time since anyone had been in the playhouse, so she does a quick vermin be gone on everything, to make certain no small creature remains behind after her efforts to annoy them later.

Kero is quite happy playing with Amestru, until the Wolf King accidentally grabs his burned paw. With a snarl and a growl, Kero takes Amestru's arm in his own and bites. Hard.
