They are changing this as we speake. Starting next year they are going to try and introduce female officers and senior enlisted into the submarine fleet. It's only going to be feesible on Ohio Class, though, because that's the only class of submarines that would allow them to have their own berthing space and head. Their main problem is going to be being able to get females fresh in the Navy to volunteer for submarine duty. The extra pay may not be enough. I can also list many other problems they are going to face, but I'll only do so upon spciel request.

Not at all. Hell, you know what, if you design a submarine area and do a good job, I might promote you! blaugh
To be honest, X- Myrmidon -X is actually... me.
He's just a place holder.

Ah, well, I'd rather not be an Admiral. In real life I'm a PO-2, and I'd rather stay that way, though I can act as the CNO till you appoint a new one.
And sure, I can design a Submarine area if you want. Just tell me how you'd like it done, and I'll put my expertise to good use lol.

Why not add the the HK416 as one of weapons in the armory? Length D10RS: 797 mm (31.4 in) / 701 mm (27.6 in) D14.5RS: 900 mm (35.4 in) stock extended / 804 mm (31.7 in) collapsed D16.5RS: 951 mm (37.4 in) stock extended / 855 mm (33.7 in) D20RS: 1,037 mm (40.8 in) stock extended / 941 mm (37.0 in)
Rate of fire:700-900min (cylic). It's feeding system is a 20-30 round STANAG magazine or a 100 round Beta C-Mag. it is gas operated and it also has a rotating bolt. catridge:5.56x45 NATO(north atlantic treaty organization)

Like I said, I've appointed myself your residential Submarine expert, if you don't mind. you know, i did the same thing with the air force, swooped in and swept this guy off his feet with intel... and for realism i aint putting 16s, 15s, or 22s on Aircraft Carriers, 35s ill let by if the have the C sub-designation. since they're CATOBAR (Catapult Assisted Take Off But Arrested Recovery) developed.

I'm actually working on the Submarine thing right now. Just trying to iron it out right now. I'll post it and I'm open for any suggestions on how to reword things.
