Cpt Lance Sk Suicidesoldier#1 Cpt Lance Sk Suicidesoldier#1 It's mah, I used to have a whole guild that gathered intel on other guilds and whatnot. I've always considered roleplay battling them, but I don't think that their roleplayers are very good; and they aren't really that realistic in well... anything. They are also are pretty uptight douches, who would never accept losing, and if we beat them, would probably throw a hissy fit about it and never accept defeat. They also love to insult other people and do a lot of unnecessary banter, which would make it complicated for a lot of people to battle them. Their basically not very nice people and would probably establish a set of rules, break them alot, and accuse us of breaking them all the time. They are also think they are good when they are not (another sign of a douche), and it makes the whole scenario more complicated and whatnot. So I tend to just avoid them, becuase they don't have that many redeaming qualities. Not that I care about much other than the fact that they pretty much suck, but a lot of people tend to be insecure/ get pissed off when other people are douches. The guild just has a lot of self hype, and they rile themselves into believing that they're the best- making it hard to interact with them regardless of the fact that they suck as a guild. BUT! You can gather all the intel you want! mrgreen Hey, ban me if you want, but I'm part of the UGMF. I actually think its *cough* more organized *cough* then this one. But seriously, all the people I know in that guild are not douches. They are avid roleplayers, and have a realistic sense of war. Just because we don't roleplay cocking a gun and adjusting the sights doesn't mean we suck. lol Says the mule. Yeah, sure, I'm a mule [/immense sarcasm] lawl Well, you are, aren't you? I mean even if it's you. Your still a mule. xp Not that I have a problem; It's just words, your trying to cause controversy, and your guild has always hated me, dating back to when I first joined, 4 years ago... But that's a time I'm sure none of you remember.

What exactly does "UGMF" stand for? I'd like to look the guild up and see if I can't form my own opinion of it.

Ah, that much should have been obvious. Not like it's a complicated name, after all. Anyway, yeah, I've heard of them, but I haven't seen anything about the guild.

The UGMF is pretty damn organized. But it's nothing that THEY'VE done.
As I've said before... all their good members have left.
I used to be in the guild, a long, long time ago.
It's pretty much dead now, even though a few of the "Veterans" have stayed.

Ban me if you want, but thats my opinion You keep asking me to ban you, like you know what your doing. Becuase I do know what your doing, and it's hilarious. Secondly, your inclination for me to immediately ban you stems from how you feel the UGMF acts, and you think that I'll operate exactly like them; chiefly becuase your an idiot. You as well want me to ban you, having decided a while ago that this should be your last stay here, and you'll presumably quit soon. These conclusions of course, were rather easy to deduce and blatantly obvious. Anyways, mr. mule. I'm not saying that their more organized or not more organized. I'm saying that the members a part of the guild were pretty much left with the "Shell" of a good guild. The members left didn't build it. It's like stumbling upon an ancient, amazing Egyptian pyramid and then calling it home. But of course, you wouldn't know that the UGMF is dead. You were never there at it's height. How would you know how good it once was? You couldn't. 10 members doesn't count as not being dead compared to what it once was.

And, since I didn't go through every page and post, I am going to make my suggestion in hopes no one else has already made it!
If you guys do decide to go with uniforms, I think you should go with n00b-ish items. They are inexpensive and basically blend it. Nothing too flashy to draw lots of attention. Just a thought.<3

And, since I didn't go through every page and post, I am going to make my suggestion in hopes no one else has already made it!
If you guys do decide to go with uniforms, I think you should go with n00b-ish items. They are inexpensive and basically blend it. Nothing too flashy to draw lots of attention. Just a thought.<3 lol, yesh. If I made a uniform, it would probably be under 100 gold with all those noob items. A mix between the soldier, ninja, and "Fantasy" armor. Maybe black gloves or socks, although those are 100 gold by themselves. xd I already tried to make a good suit out of cheap, starter items, and I found something I liked, so yes, I think it would be very smart to adopt a uniform, if we adopted a uniform, that was cheap. blaugh

Screw cheap uniforms. The point of having one would be to show that you're part of something, and if it's cheap then that something obviously isn't very important. I understand the idea that a good uniform should be affordable by the less fortunate players of Gaia, but isn't that why we said we wouldn't have one?

We wouldn't have one becuase it's stupid to force something on someone that has nothing to do with roleplaying in this guild. In other words, I wouldn't force you also to be an avid zOMG player for a guild that doesn't require good zOMG skills.
Conversely, in my opinion, it's also like me asking you to join facebook, make a rl account, and join my facebook group connected with this guild or else you'll face the "dire" consequences.
It's simply more convenient not to have one and has very little to do with roleplaying; all people should be allowed to have which ever uniform or avatar they please and not have to worry about if it's not a critical component to the guild.
As well, if a uniform was adopted, it's cost would have nothing to do with it's quality; it should be based around how good it looks, rather than it's price.

Agreed, I didn't mean that it should be judge by price, but, as you said, the look. And the fact is that most cheap items (not all, obviously, my current costume has only one expensive item in it) don't look very good at all.

This is true. But it's entirely possible to build a suitable uniform out of cheap items if enough research or time is spent on the matter. xp Maybe.
