The great thing is, I can get away with it when I really want to hit someone.

This one time, right after a major competition (in which we made second place, by the way), Bobina, who was on my bus for some odd reason, starting b****ing me out for missing a SINGLE CHORD. Just one that no one heard anyways. But she was just going freaking postal on me! Sooo, after we got off the bus at school, we had to take pit equipment inside. I proceeded to "accidentally" run my vibes into her fat ***. I said, "Oh, I am so sorry, Bobina! Are you alright?" *insert dripping sarcasm here* You know what she did? She started crying like a little baby. I hadn't even hit her that hard! I got away with it because I was a freshman and it was early in the season and I could say that "I couldn't control it!" when I could perfectly well!

IN YOUR FACE, BOBINA!

I have two people that I would smash there faces in but who mad I say over and over again for one of them that "he will grow out of it because he just an 8th grader", and the other one I say "If I kill him know I will be charged with murder and i will get I troble with the dicteor because we would not have any one to replace him".

One word-rookies. So annoying, because Bob #1 and Bob #2 NEVER STOP TALKING!!!!!!! At least Bobina wasn't annoying, but she was incappable of lifting a mallet.

Everyone in band band deserves a good kick. They're all conceited. And the drum major, her brother was the previous drum major, but he was actually good. Then, her mother also is the band booster president.

So I suspect nepotism or something similar...

Anyone who ever says flute is an easy instrument to march with.

Sure it's light, but it's at a pretty uncomfortable angle. HORN ANGLES FLUTES!!! HORN ANGLES!!!!! I am sooooo tired of hearing that.

And Bobina #1. She is always correcting me and thinks she is so great. Bobina #2 is a freshman (I'm a sophomore) but she acts like she's just soooo much better than me even though she plays really badly, but she's pretty and everyone loves her. We've got the same real life first name, and march the same instrument (flute) and I'm tired of always hearing people calling for her, then when I turn around, being all "Oh... no, we want the other Bobina." I should not be second to a freakin' freshie! (No offense to any freshmen, I do like some of them. But this particular one pisses me off.)

Okay. Done. Only redeeming factor about Bobina #2 is that she has a really cute brother who's a sophomore and plays trombone in my band. We had a flute lunch at her house and I got to see where the cute Bob lives. whee

I have the smallest school: 1A, which is as small as you can get, I believe. The band is THE biggest organization in the school AND the community. Amazingly, we went to Disney last summer to march and we played "Low Rider" and "Danger Zone". The band MAKES the game exciting and we fuel our team every time. We absolutely destroy other schools at home games. Last score: 65-22. Of COURSE there's people's faces I want to smash in. Starting with the flute section. Molly. Then there's practically all of our percussion because they're the laziest part of the band. Even the good ones are absolutely immature and irresponsible. But we have the best director. I remember the flute section getting it..HORN ANGLES!! That brought back memories.. He's the greatest this school has ever seen or ever will. We love pep music the most and a lot of 80s since both student and teacher can understand that. HAHA.. Although playing some Russian pieces is very rewarding. We live to make the director happy. We party more than anybody else and we're music lovers not necessarily all band 'nerds' or 'geeks'. Our last party was hilarious. "INTO THE OCEAN!!"-Cecilia's little bro, holding a toy shark. "INTO THE POND!!"-Jason(AltoSax), holding a toy duck. Gad..then, of course, Weston and Kelsey start doing a little song and dance while my friends and I are all laying on each others stomachs and watching. Earlier, when Micah was still there, we listened to Chris play the guitar and sing Matchbox Romance while we sat together on the couch. The couch opposite us was filled with some characters..lol..I hated to see Micah have to go with his curfew lol and I saw him out the door. We are all the most lively, energetic and practically insane band I have ever heard of. I LOVE BAND!! My first love, music, yo. And then there's my Micah, because he's just cool like that.

Tour this year is 38 days, I'm pretty sure there'll be a few faces I want to smash by the end.

YES.

At the beginning of the year, we only had 3 flutes but one was drum major so technically we only had 2. Emily and me decided we'd both play pic` until we got more flutes because we had a critical part in the show that only flutes have but it can't be heard over the rest of the band.

Bobina moved in from New York and she didn't have her flute because she was still backing. So we were all, "'kay, that's COOL. So how good do you play?" ANd she was all, "Oh well, in New York I always got solos for [insert name of some NY band thing] and I was first chair. I have a hard time with high notes sometimes, but I was always pretty good besides that." We gave her the show music and she kept talking about how it looked hard so we told her it was easy.

Bobina struggled but y'know, middle school music is a LOT easier then high school music so we let it slide.

As the days went by we got to know Bobina. She was an arrogant, spoiled little country girl who tried to flirt with EVERY guy in the band, including the SENIORS that had GIRLFRIENDS. She has this crush on [i'll call him] "Alex" but he's a senior and a little bit of a player, but he's got a girlfriend and he sets his boundaries. I heard from some of my friends that Bobina was ALWAYS talking about him and how she thought he liked her and... eek. x_x That was awful... I confronted her and told her Alex has a GF so let him go and she has the audacity to say I like him, "so don't get confused with me and you!" That was her social-wise. -_-

Music/marching wise, she was awful. After all that FLIP Bobina told us about how great she was she couldn't get down a WHOLE NOTE without cutting short or going over 50trillionbajillion beats or playing the wrong key. She didn't play anything faster then a quarter note. As the one closest to her in chairs, I was the one that had to explain things to her and help her out. Our conversations always went like,
"Okay, the key changes here so it's D-flat instead of natural."
"I know."
"And even those these two measures are fast, they're not slurred."
"I know."
"You're marching on the wrong foot. Left... left..."
"I know!"
"Hold your flute, please. It looks ugly at that angle."
"I know! I am!"
"We do a forte-piano on this note right here."
"I know!!"
"...And to play a high-F trill you move this key..."
"I KNOW!!"
"... ... 'kay. I guess you're playing everything right then, just MAKE SURE WE CAN HEAR YOU."
"I KNOW!!!!"
We went on like that for about two weeks[I'm pretty patient] and finally, I had a really bad day and she came to me whining and asking for help but obvioulsy 'knew' everything I was telling her. So I just cursed at her and told her "If you freakin' KNOW EVERYTHING DO IT!!" I then told Emily I didn't like Bobina and Emily volunteered to give Bobina a shot.

In the end, we both came to the conclusion we didn't like her but we would have to deal with her until the end of the year.

Now that we're in concert band, we both wonder how the heck she got into the honors band because she NEVER played scales. Well... she tried to "pull a Jessica" once by playing when the director was most prone to distractions and acting like she messed up. The director gave her a low score and she was all, "Jessica did that!" Everyone sorta just stared/coughed/laughed [she's really unpopular and everyone loves me apparently] and told her, "Jessica's actually a FLUTE PLAYER though." And Bobina got all offensive and was all, "She never plays!!" I AM Jessica and after all that stuff she put me through during the marching season... I degraded myself to the second flute part JUST FOR HER during the season. >/ HAHAHAH. I got suspended from the band for about a week....

Well DHS Marching Band has some Bob's and Bobina's of it's own...

Bobina #1
She thinks that her and I share section leader position....by the middle of next year, I will have more time in band than her....she'll have 4 yr., I'll have 7. Plus she trys to get attention by passing out in the middle of practice....she has never done that before. We have some people in band with heart problems and she is passing out because she is getting overheated and then her stupid knee will lock up and she'll be in 'pain'. She says she isn't trying to get attention, but I can't really believe that anymore.

Bobina #2
She. Is. A. Freshman. She has no authority in the band and thinks that I'm her friend because I have the same intrests as her. She thinks that her parent's are 'holier than thou' and that whenever her parents get her to the band hall on a game night or a contest day or a parade day is the right time and whatever our director says does not apply to her...like for instance last month...last month we went on a band trip to Universal to preform....the few days before the trip our director gets in front of the class and says 'for those of you going to Universal listen up,' and you know what the little ^&%$ does.....she starts writing on her music...i want to slap the little *bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep*

i'll tell ya about the bob's later

Bob #1
He is a tuba player and thinks that he can do so many things and think he is so smart but everyone in the band knows that he is a stupid idiot that can't do anything right and runs away from his problems....

During our trip, the first day there he was waiting in a bus station cuz the idiot stole big money from someone and lied about it...he said he found it and was gonna give it to our director but he fell asleep and forgot about it...I mean I could come up with a better lie(even though i wouldn't in the first place)

Bob #2
He is a trumpet player. The little glasses wearing punk thinks he is real cool and he has this attitude that if the right person ticks him off he'll start beatin' on them....just the other day he attacked someone and when we were talkin' about it, I said something that he heard and he told me,"W-well I-I-I don't a-appriciate t-that and i-if you say a-another w-word I-I'll hit you i-in th-the mouth." And I'm a GIRL........now I see why the lil' dumb &&&& doesn't have anyone that likes him.....it's that big stutterin' gapin' hole in his head that NEEDS TO BE SEWED UP!

"Bob" is a moron who never stops talking about pointless topics.....

Side note: I am beginning to feel sorry for anyone actually named Bob.....why don't we change it to Paul and Paulina?

OMG where shall I start.
Oh yes my psychotic frickin band director!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He is sooo infuriating. He makes band camp feel more like boot camp. If we mess up he says drop and we have to do push-ups. His favorite past time is calling people out and embarrassing them in front of the rest of the band. I'm one of his special targets along with my friends. He can't seem to keep himself out of people's personal lives either. He had the AUDACITY to tell my boyfriend that if he saw him near me at school he would write him up!! I almost exploded from anger. He is always on my case and has to be a smart@$$ about everything!! He's also sexist and is constantly taking girls out of positions they deserve in favor of the boys!!
I hate him so very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
