saxes, no doubt most of them never pay attention and they always think it's a good idea to talk or goof off when we're supposed to be rehearsing! i'm kinda scared for next year, during middle school band night, the middle schoolars would not shut up&i had to yell "QUIET!" twice -__-

mine...flutes, saxophones, and drumline. haha i'm in all 3 sections but they were obnoxious before i joined although i fit right in to all of them. Flutes are usually tomboys (not like other stereotypes) and me being the only guy, they get me involved all the time and its usually random funny crap. plus we flutes are ALWAYS hyper!!!! Saxophones, break out singing 80's music and making spoofs of 80's songs when their bored (all the time), if not, break out into some sexual or just random spastic dance XD. Fit perfectly in with the saxes. Drummers....just plain obnoxious. they are like the combination of flutes and saxes and pretty much any others that make them obnoxious. I'm one of the most obnoxious (in a funny way) in the band so i definatly fit in XD

Oi, the french horns!
They are just awful! No to mention always off pitch... I guess there's something about brass instrements that makes it more difficult? Between the breathing and the counting...regardless, they always make me wince.

^^^^Trumpets aren't supposed to pay attention. Its what we do best. Our job is to play loudly, swing and scream.
Oh and the most annoying are the french horns and then oboes. ESPECIALLY the oboes. They are never in tune, and i've almost dropped my trumpet while trying to cover my ears when they play together. The one kid's oboe is off by a half step. Its painful.

ok the section i dislike the most is the battery because when ever you want to talk to them or be friends with them, they are complete a monkeys to you and look at you like you are from a different planet. Also I strongly dislike other alto saxes because they not only treat others with disrespect but, other members of the sax section as well (tenors, sopranoes, baris etc). They might "think" that they are all that and a bag of chips but when they are complaining, Its the bari saxes who shut them up. So please, respect the bari sax player, they put up with more crud than you give them credit for.
Oh and for those of you who have conflicts with the saxes first off, if your in concert band or wind symphony, WE NEVER GET TO PALY THE MELODY UNLIKE EVERYONE ELSE!!! So if we are goofing off WE ARE BORED OUT OF OUR MARBLES AND WE DID SPEND TIME PRACTICING AT HOME! So yeah, and the only time saxes aren't doing that kind of stuff is in jazz ensemble.

Trumpets. Always. Followed by percussion since most don't have s**t to do if your school is poor since there are always so many of them.
Third is probably a tie between alto saxophones (my section) and flutes. Saxophones always fight with trumpets, I swear to God it's like a born rivalry to try and outblast each other.

probably the percussion and french horns... the percussionists are all stoners and just tool around all the time, and the french horns just play rediculously loud and dont care whats going on in the rest of the band (although I've been inducted into the french horn section (I'm soon to be the only baritone player) haha so i guess I'm insulting myself?)

we have 3 guys in our percussion and 2 of them are SOOOO annoying! They can't shut up to save their lives. The third one is one of my bestfriends and he can't even stand them. Sometimes 2 of the flute girl talk WAAAY to much. Our trumpet section needs some help, oh and our bassoon and our bass clarinet never shut up... Man... we have a messed up and dysfunctional band but some how, at concerts, we end up being the best out of the three bands... Weird. *shrugs*
