cream starts jumping, her energy comeing to her "mr.sonic taught me how to use his board, can i race too rouge?" cheese sounds off and cream puts her hands together, giving the look of pleeeaaaase in her eyes

"I wish we could race Cream, but we have no extreme gear."
She turned to Jet.

cream looked at rouge questionably "but that's how i got here... Mr.sonic game me his gear when he didn't want it anymore... i've even been practicing. Mr.sonic said i was almost as good as him!" she ran off and came back with a pair of small orange goggles and a blue extreme gear board

cream strapped on her goggles, strapped her shoes into the board and started the gear up. hovering in place as she waited, cheese flew to rouge "ready when you are" they start the countdown and rush off at 3. cream was keeping pace with jet

cream sees that he had sped up, she checked the controls, inhaled, then exhaled before gaining speed to hit a jump, caught an air current, and landed in front of jet "whats a pro? does that mean you are like sonic?"

she gets knocked to the side, and barely maneuvered a wall, she gained speed again yelling from behind "well if you're going to cheat!" she pushes over to the side halfway through the race, disappearing for a moment then suddenly topples the homes she was riding behind, upside-down, and when she straightened up again, she instantly caught a current and landed next to jet. she made the next turn then stuck her tongue out angrily at jet tikal
tikal followed the trail as far as the edge of the forest, she looked out in time to see a small dot in the air drop. she gasped and ran off in the direction of the dot, unnaware of the race

as they were halfway through the race jet saw a spot where he could grind on and jumped "haha, later!" jet ground up until he was near the finish line

cream saw jet grind and she checked her air container "is it enough?" she pressed a button on the back and formed a speed position. the air in the gear compressed and shot out like nitrous. she started to fly and soon saw the finishline and jet. she kept gainning speed and caught up, passed jet, and the air ran out. "huh?" the board started dropping, and jet caught up, when they finished, it was a near tie, but cream saw he was first. she took off her goggles and got off her board "oh, i knew i should have refilled the container... you win... good race though jet, it was fun" she smiled and cheese flew to her sounding off "really? i was that good?" cheese nods and they hug a moment.

tikal saw the object leaving the town "thats him... how is he still up with those broken bones?" she started to run twords jet, but realized she couldn't run forever like sonic. she stopped in her tracks and watched as the figure slowly vanished "i hope he will be better soon" she turned to go back to her tent in the forest
