don't worry... tam's a sucker for baby eyes and a quivering lip.... he's only a good guard against things that are actively trying to hurt something... iffin they don't mean it or it's an accident he usually crumbles.....

Well, Kero's eyes don't turn baby blue when he's afraid...they turn dark blue...baby blue is when he feels depressed, or is about to cry, or is crying.

Oh...and a dictionary of colors might prove useful:
Black: Guilt/Depression (With Kero, they go hand in hand)
Light Red: Controlled anger/irritation/frustration...can also be seen as a red rim
Dark Red: Uncontrolled Anger
Blood Red: Killing Rage...get out of there if you value your soul
Light blue: Sadness/about to cry/crying
Dark Blue: Fear
Purple: Confusion
Grey: Thinking/using voidmagic
Lavender: Affection
Brown: Love
Light Green: Mischievous
Dark Green: Normal/Happy
Yellow: Very happy
Orange: Asking for something
Any other emotions will be explained later.

well.... i would say lyssie is a bit more easy to read... they are either a golden brown or red.... lol... tam is green... keva is blue like his pa..... and shia... ye know... i don't think i've dreamt up a color for her yet.... yet somehow i see her as having green eyes as well.....

I would kill to have green eyes...better than these brown ones...although most girls say they like my brown eyes...so I don't know.
Tes once made the mistake of grabbing me (She didn't believe me when I said I was a black belt...and neither did any of my friends)...according to her, when I reacted and pushed her into a wall, my eyes were black...no brown to them...you ever seen something like that?

my eye are kind of hazel... but they turn green when i'm angry.... yosh calls them his early warning system....

hmmm... i've managed to see it because people purposefully got me mad just to show me in a mirror... which only served to make me madder at the time (i was in college and they thought it funny.... i didn't)... of course now it seems silly and all.... .... but then i was pretty angry that someone thought it funny to do that.... oh well.... it's been documented too many times... told to me by so many people, that i guess 'd have to believe it even if i hadn't saw it for myself....... really kind of wish they were green all the time though... i love green eyes......
and i love brown eyes.... yosh (of course) has them... and does all me kids...

Well, I have them too...and I wouldn't mind seeing my eyes turn black once....might be interesting...
Better than my four-color hair...it shifts it shade depending on the lighting of the room...under strong halogen light, my hair turns silver...but in sunlight, I'm blonde...and in normal light, my hair is as brown as my eyes...yet it easily fades to black if the light is dimmed a little...weird, eh?

more like interesting... i like the sound of it... my hair is slowly going grey.... and by that i mean very very slow... i've got me da's dignified temples... looks odd on a woman believe you me... so i wear it long to kind of hide it... and the red has long since faded out.. leaving behind a sort of dishwater blondish brown color... sad... when ye think about it....
