David glanced at Adrian, pulling his eyes away from his car/scrap pile. He didn't pay attention to the last part about 'good things happening when he didn't lie' due to his car's sudden death. He forced a smile though and gave a laugh then muttered something to himself as he took one last look at his car and the two men who were looking at it with panicked looks on their faces, possibly wondering how it's owner would react to that.

He looked over at Mayumi, as she held his hand. "Sure, where do you want to go?"

"Yes, that will do, something light though." -Valcazar then whispered into the girl's ear when she said she had plans for david.- "WEll wouldn't be easier to get him ready for these...plans of yours hm?" -Valcazar then looked into her eyes with his caln crimson eyes and winked.-

"That's okay, I don't need anything else."

"Nonsense, just have one, it's not poison." -suddenly the sound of a tow truck pulling another car away. it wasn't really Val's problem although juding from the looks of it, it belonged to the kid. "Ehem...if that's yours...i'd suggest you put that in one of our garages next time." -Val gave him a key chain button presser with a lock on it to prevent it from being pressed when it happened to be in a pocket.- "It's for one of the garages of the hotel. aim it at one of the garages and it should open a spot for you. however they may parked cars there so once you open it you may wanna look around for an empty spot"

He shrugged. "I don't know, I guess it would help." Of course he just couldn't help many of the things that happened to him and even when something happened to him that was good, something else would always happen to ruin it. Life just sometimes sucked like that.

"The courtyard?" He scratched his head. "Forgot where that was... Just show me where it is I guess."

He took the key from the man. "Thanks...I'll remember that next time." Of course it would probably end up not working or some bird would carry it off knowing what happened to David but it didn't matter too much since he now needed to go buy another car.

He knew he couldn't get drunk though. Being able to stomache anything had it's advantages. "Don't worry, I don't get drunk easily."

She grabbed Davids hand and pulled him with her to the courtyard. "Never mind what I said." she whispered. "I just don't like it when peope I like drink. especaily around me."

You can't really blame the alcohol then. ::Eastwood shrugged as he spoke:: Seeing as how everyone reacts differently to each substance. Take me for instance. ::Eastwood stopped in his flamboyant proposition long enough to speak to Mayumi:: Believe me I can understand painful experiences, however you shouldn't dwell too much on what the past has done to you and miss what may be in the future.

No, I don't know you past. With luck I could probably scry your future but that is beside the point. I am saying everyone suffers from some pain in their life and that that pain should not shackle them down from having a good life.

::As he spoke he evoked a little of his angelic half of powers to soothe her emotions and calm her down. It was the least he could do for dredging up bad memories. He himself had had a rocky start in this world but he still firmly believed that one had to persevere through that::
